This company is not dependable. Yard waste has been picked up a total of maybe 3 tomes. Constant notifications about the inability to service our residency. Ive called every week and still no service. Then they changed to every other week. We got a call Friday night saying service has been delayed. Pick up change d to Saturday, no show. I called Monday. Said they would be out Tuesday. No show. Got calls saying it was delayed. My husband bought up the canister well night, after being currbside for 6 days. They supposedly came this morning. I told them I wanted it picked up tomorrow. The nerve it will be a $40 service fee. Was transferred to another department. Transfers me again. Voice recordings saying they are now closed. After waiting over 15 minutes on hold. Do not go with this company.

Absolutely horrible. Repeated missed pickups for trash and yardwaste. Customer service is impossible to get a hold of. I paid for a full year of service and keep getting offered bill credits for when I renew, which is obviously not happening. Id really just like my money back, as what this company has provided me hardly qualifies for any services

Never missed payment in 3 years, they picked up trash about 3 hrs later they came picked up empty trash can called them the next day said they need a credit card on file gave them one, then next day they dropped a smaller can off wich was filled 3 bags, same thing next week can gone. With no balance owed I dont have 30-45 minutes a week to sit on the phone these guys feel they have the trash business locked and thats from a close friend that used to be employed by them , go somewhere else

We were set up with Waste Management through our inspection company. I wish I would have researched and selected our own garbage company, especially because no one else in our neighborhood has Waste Management. We had countless missed pickups. The website is not user friendly whatsoever for reporting these and if you call you have to wait on hold for a long time to reach a human being. Our pickup day was Thursday and there was at least a time or two where it was missed and the bin had to sit out all weekend (sorry neighbors). Our last yard waste pickup for the season was missed and our bin was completely full. The pickup was missed again on Friday and we had planned to pick up leaves and refill the bin once more that weekend when we were off of work. I called multiple times waiting on hold each time, continued to be told it would be picked up for days and days. I ended up having to go purchase yard waste bags. I asked for reimbursement on this since I wouldn’t have had to had our bin been picked up and was told no. Several of the customer service reps were rude and the run around was ridiculous. After over a week snow had fallen and it was too late to take advantage of our last pickup. Finally after at least 4 or 5 phone calls and still no pickup Doug a manager called and said he would pick up our bin one more time. I appreciated this but unfortunately it was too late with the snow. After another phone call I was told I would get a 10$ credit for the missed yard waste pick up. This was months ago and still no credit has shown up. We ended our service and went with Walters, a smaller company that most people in our neighborhood use. I am so happy with our decision, not only are their prices lower but when you call them you reach a person right away and so far they have been reliable with pickups. Bottom line, go with a smaller company. You will get much better service and probably a better price.

Awful service, Friday pickup dont show email to say will be there Saturday dont show call on Monday say they will do a special pickup embarrassing having the can out for 4 to 5 days. Switching companies please dont use this company not worth the stress.

If I could give 0 starts I would. They would miss our trash pickup on a regular basis, they never came back after I was missed so it would build until the next week or two weeks with recycling. They kept messing up my bill in the beginning. I finally moved and cancelled service sighting all these things for the reason I am not continuing service at the new address. Then I cancel my service and charge me for 2 extra weeks that they don’t pickup the bins...then they charge me almost $95 to pick up their bins!! Seriously!

I dont even use waste management but somehow ended up with one of their recycling bins. I have called them FIVE times and each time they tell me the bin will be getting picked up either that day or the next day. It has been over a week now and the driver hasnt even do much as driven by

I needed additional assistance and they were right there to help me. Again if you were in need of a reliable company I highly recommend waste management especially in Minnesota thank you again stay safe.

We allowed them to charge our card for one payment. We preferred to pay online anyway. They overcharged us TWICE! When we spoke to them they claimed “the system charged you automatically 6 months ahead” I never heard of such thing. They basically took down our card number and kept charging us - without our consent for auto pay. When we spoke and demanded that they return the extra payments they withdrew WITHOUT our approval, they said “we will not charge you for 6 months, will give you a discount later, blah blah...” I think these folks are unprofessional and shady in the way they run they business. Never give them your Credit Card numbers. We terminated their services.

Found out that my payment was late. ok my fault. go to pay it and they want a $50 fee to “reactivate” my service. what a joke. so then i try and cancel the service all together and they want $75 to pickup the cans. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! called WALTERS TRASH and there MUCH CHEAPER! sick of getting extorted by waste management. I’M OUT!

For nearly two months now, Waste Management has failed to pick up my trash on the scheduled day. They are some times one day, or two days, or three days late. One week they did not pick up at all. Some times they will pick up from one side of the street but not the other. It makes no sense; why not pick up both sides of the street while you are here? They blame it all on the weather. That excuse is unacceptable. The other haulers can get out in rain and sleet and snow, why cant WM? I have to get out and go to my job 5 days a week no matter the weather, why doesnt WM? I have checked their ratings online, and I see that WM has more than a dozen law suits filed against them. They should be put out of business.

Ive used WM for three years now and have not had any problems whatsoever. Customer Service has been responsive and professional when Ive had special requests and pickup has been consistently been when expected.

Twice recently, my trash can and recycle bin were literally thrown away when the truck came to pick them up. Theyve told my association manager that its because I have the smaller size cans and the arms on the trucks have a hard time with them. I dont have room for the large cans in my tiny garage and in the 10 years of living here (with the same cans til recently) its now all of a sudden become an issue? Today, the lid broke off the trash can after the truck picked up the can and now I need yet another replacement. On top of this annoyance, there is constantly trash dropped to blow around the yard and cans left tipped over by the truck arms. Ive got this all on video via my driveway surveillance camera.

Waste Management has demonstrated unprofessional behavior that is beyond what I would expect from even your worst service company. Earlier this year I was charged for multiple bags of leaves that were included in my service plan free of charge. It took about 3 hours on my part to get those charges removed.On at least three occasions my bins have not been picked up even though they were placed in the street the night before. On at least two of these occasions I was told by staff that the bins were never even placed in the street, when I know for a fact they were. One of the times they offered to do have a driver make a special run to pickup my bins, except that it would take 6 days in order to do so.Just today my trash bins were not picked up from the street. I was told they werent in the street, even though I have pictures from my security camera that show a bin in the street last night, and the same bin there this morning. This is a direct lie to a paying customer.I dont understand why I am routinely ripped off, lied to, and ignored by WM staff for a service I pay a considerable amount for. These issues will be brought to the BBB if this is not satisfactorily resolved.

Whats with these people? They never notify you before cutting you off for late payment. Then when you get paid up they extort money plus fees and charges in order to restore service. All they have to do is click a button on their end. What a crock! Environmentally concerned, but questionable ethics for sure.

Have had them for 13 years and only a positive experience. Ive missed putting the garbage at the street and drivers have walked down a 150 driveway to grab it for me. I called this week for a missed pickup and they showed up on an off day when it wasnt expected. Great service.

Since Garbageman was acquired by WM, they have picked up my trash once on the scheduled day. Its been about 6 weeks now. If you like talking to customer representatives, this is the company for you. GO ELSEWHERE! PAY MORE IF YOU HAVE TO!

THIS IS THE WORST GARBAGE COMPANY I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED! We call for pick up 4 times. We were quoted 3 different prices... and on top of it.. they never came. It was not only an eye sore.. but a safety hazard to children in our community. SHAME ON WASTE MANAGEMENT! You pay for what you get with them.. Im disgusted with their service.

I would give less than 1 star if possible. Charges 10 times the amount of other companies, randomly changes your services saying it was supposed to save you money when it more than doubled the monthly cost and then wants 6 months plus pick up for cancellation. Doesnt even try to work with a long term commercial client to try to match 2 other competitors.

If I could give zero stars I would. These guy charge double what everyone else does so be sure to shop around. They dont explain the contracts fully and leads confusion. Lastly every time I have called customer service I have had nothing resolved and the people on the phone sound like they hate their job. Honestly who can blame them when working for such a shotty company.

This afternoon as the truck driver came and picked up the recycling items, I noticed there were still recycling items on the city street and he ignore the items and left the area. Throughout the times, I havent had any issues with you guys. In my opinion, today was very unprofessional on the driver part. I have photographed the items that were on the street.

Horrible! I would never choose this company, but our city just signed a contract with them beginning Jan 1st. It is now the 15. I have called twice about the missed pick ups. Each time they promised pickup within 2 days. I just called for the third time, with yet another empty promise. Whats the point of even calling, and yet I still get billed for service I do not receive. Grrrrrr

F rated Waste ManagementJust charged another $41.58 to stop service 2 months after calling to cancel service! Waste Management charges an excessive FEE to cancel service and pick up their can. No other collector does this. When we called to cancel service 5/10/2019, they said we had to pay a $25+ can pickup fee, plus applicable charges. Lady decided is was ok to talk down to a customer multiple times. Charged $36.58 for picking up WMs can and then a service charge of $5 to make the payment.Then! Overcharged 4 times when we had Waste Management for service! Many issues, charged for trash pickup from another address 3 times.WASTE MANAGEMENT will NEVER get our business again...

We have paid for service for less than 4 months and they continually do NOT pick up our trash. Every time I call they promise to fix it and they say its my fault for not putting my cans out. Except we put them out on Sunday nights for a Tues pick up. Unreliable service! We are getting wasps and so many bugs from them missing our pickups this is the WORST trash service I have ever had

We were with Garbage Man before they were taken over by waste Management and now they drive by in the AM and same truck comes by anytime in the PM.Today was very windy my container was blown over so the driver drove right by without picking up the trash. The first pick up after Christmas, so our recycling can was full, and the man picking up our garbage dropped our can into the truck on accident. My husband went out to help him, and instead of being grateful for the help, he chooses to use profanity towards my husband. very unprofessional.

I live at Carriage Oaks and every monday morning there is garbage all over our parking lot. Disgusting!! I took pictures of 5 dumpsters that had debris every where! Its hard to believe that your company doesnt require good practice out in the field. You need to fire and hire! And our management needs to find a new garbage service.

After reading a few reviews Im not surprised with our experience. Our recycling gets picked up every two weeks with out a doubt. The garbage on the other hand?? Having a home where you cant get rid of your waste is frustrating and embarrassing. Our garbage gets picked up every other week, when recycling isnt. Weird, right? At this point having extra garbage bags sitting out next to the bin is now a regular. This. on top of the other negative reviews, really look nice on a company.Im not surprised why our other neighbors dont use your trash service.

Can I give 0 Stars?I have had trash service from a small company in our community until about a year ago when Waste Management bought them out. At first, it was business as usual - same driver, same billing - Quarterly.Recently the billing went bi-monthly and I missed a payment. The services were halted and the lady on the phone told me about a can pickup fee should I want to cancel.Save yourself the time and call a local provider who will take care of you where you arent just a number...

Their driver of vehicle 632704 comes flying down my street at 9 oclock Im a Saturday morning my 2 year old could have been outside playing what if he were to have darted out in the street hence he is a 2 yr old the guy would have not been able to stop looks like safety for ppls kids arent tooken into consideration
