The ladies at the front of Copart are very nice and helpful and always willing to help. I have had few bad experiences in any of my transport pick ups there. I recommend them for the purposes of a vehicle transport location. They are a reliable location to get loads going to various places across the US.

Buyers be aware. I have purchased 3 total cars and I can say quality has gone done and prices are up. I only got a good deal on the first car, the last two were disasters. This company doesnt check what sellers say. They dont do an OBD check, dont take enough photos, or hold sellers accountable for lying about the situation of the cars. They also charge very high fees and offer no guarantee what so ever. I believe there are better auctions to deal with. Other companies offer a lot more detailed reports, photos and even guarantees on the cars they sell. My last advice is never buy a car that says the only damage is normal wear and tear its an absolute trap.

First time there they gave me the wrong address went to the other address they wont even let me take my card off my Harley. You have to download the stupid app on your phone just to go into the place and talk to someone ! Second time they gave me the right address and they took the headers off themselves and gave them to me

I have purchased multiple cars from Copart, and never before have I had a bad experience. This all changed when I went to pick up a car from Minneapolis Copart. As I walked into the facility, there was nobody waiting on me. I patiently stood at the counter for about 3 minutes before a woman named Christine walked up to me. Apparently I had not signed in correctly, which didnt seem like too big of a deal to me, but to her, this was some sort of grave violation. I told her that I did not see the sign, and I was just there to pick up my car and get the title. She constantly accused me of arguing, and after I told her that the only sign that I could see was in SPANISH, she told me that if I kept arguing with her, she would CANCEL MY ACCOUNT, even though she was the only one who was arguing, obviously she missed Retail 101, where the customer is always right. To be honest, that woman should be fired or given a stern talking to. Customers should not be yelled at for making a simple mistake, and definitely not be threatened with the cancellation of their account, especially when they have given significant business to the company.

Sold a car here through Peddle, they never removed my title from the car and sold it to someone breaking the law. So I’m sent police citations because the car is still under my name and when we called to get it settled they basically just told me to contact the DMV and didn’t offer any other help. So now I gotta pay a citation by the end of this week that I didn’t do or else I go to court because this company who bought my car didn’t change the title before selling it, nor did they TELL ME I should do it myself if that was necessary. The DMV is closed, I have to pay for a citation I never even committed because these people sold someone a car still under my name. I gave this company my lien release and title, my ownership should have been completed after the sale. And if not, they should have INSTRUCTED ME TO CONTACT THE DMV BEFORE SELLING IT TO SOMEONE BREAKING THE LAW.

Your first time?? Great idea for a business. Have to check in online. The staff treats you like you already know everything so I recommend starting with This is my first time here, how does this work? Also, if you dont personally pay for the membership, you cannot go on the lot. They do provide a map, but its a little difficult to read lol. Definitely bring a jump starter pack of youre trying to accomplish anything!

Co-part threw all my belongings away , they told me they threw away the trash and handed me an envelope with 4 garbage receipts.. I had so many personal items in MY CAR. My car was never released to them, Im so upset right now.Copart employees get to decide whats trash and whats not if insurance brings your car here...

I bought a cbr, i called copart customer service if i come to pickup after 3 days how much is storage charges, they said 5$/day, so i pickup after 10 days buy they charged me 250$! Copart said its related to crashedtoys, crashedtoys said no! ....

I feel bad for this review because this location has some of the most competent, and helpful staff out of all their locations, and they deserve a better company to be working for. I loved Copart salvage auction in which I have been buying cars since 1996 but this time the Minneapolis yard misrepresentation of the vehicle information was very surprising.The vehicle was repaired before and all the airbags deployed which was never mentioned in the vehicle information.

Bought a car just to find out the key was missing even though they confirmed prior to pickup the key was present, awesome scam going on at this location. Then conviently had a place recommended where I can get a key super cheap and fast....2 months later copart ships me the original set of keys

This is a great location. The staff is helpful and the lot is laid out pretty easily in regards to locating what youre looking at. Lot staff was helpful and courteous and mindful of people in the lot while they run the loaders. Office staff also were pleasant to work with.

You made it very easy for me to purchase as well as pick up this auction vehicle. However I must say that paying 500 dollars in fees for a 200 dollar car was a bit steep for me. That would the reason I would hesitate to purchase another vehicle. FYI

If I could put 0 I would, i totaled my car & they came and picked it up YESTERDAY. ( Didn’t notify me they were there to pick it up from my residence) I was asleep when I woke up and realized it gone I immediately called yet no answer. Comes today they call me and say I can come get whatever I needed-great. So I arrive and they look for my car & ask me for my LOT # - no one gave me a lot # at all. Which caused a delay. I finally get into my car and they already have everything cleaned out. I say where is my belongings & everyone looks confused and says anything found is put in the trunk. THE TRUNK WAS EMPTY!! All I wanted from everything was my switch blade that my grandpa gave me FOR MY PROTECTION which I had in my top department forsure. I say I want to file a complaint they bring me to a lady & she gives me a piece of paper stating I couldn’t find any of my belongings & to sign. Also continued lying saying they just received my car earlier that day no one would have it, etc. YET THEY PICKED IT UP SOMETIME YESTERDAY EARLY EVENING. That’s it that’s all. SAID they won’t do anything else to look for any of my stuff and that’s all they can do. ALL I WANTED WAS MY PRICELESS KNIFE FOR MY PROTECTION IM A 5’2 petite female that works for doordash & Instacart. Very unprofessional the whole staff should be ashamed of themselves. Agent on phone was verry nice.Quoted $175. for vehicle. Had to stop driver before taking off in order to get my payment. Driver then wrote out check in the truck and advised company was to pay $174. While showing me that fact on his phone.Sent email responses to those who I corresponded with previously asking why and still no reply.Could be a mistake but think, how much money you could make over time by shortchanging everyone a dollar or two and how many people would say something about it?..

The agreement that was made for the purchase of my vehicle was unfulfilled.My car was picked up from a service center without my knowledge, without receiving the title, and without giving me a check.I have sent emails and made phone calls, with no response.I will say the employees at the Fridley office were very kind and helpful.

My car was totaled by a drunk. I had to drop off my title and case number to this Copart per my insurance company. I had everything that needed to be dropped off. It should have taken no more than 2 minutes. When I entered no one greeted me. There were a few people ahead of me. I heard a man two people ahead of me say he’s been waiting for over an hour. I had my three kids waiting in my rental for me. After waiting 20 mins and no one asked me what I was there for or what I needed help with, I walked up to the lady at the counter and asked if I could just leave my title and papers with her. She said she was helping someone at the moment and I needed to wait. I told her all I had to do was drop these off, I didn’t need anything else. She then stated, “well then you can go back there and the title person will help you.” If that was all I had to do. Why did none of the staff say anything? At least when people walk in and someone could say, “hi, what are you here for, what can I help you with?” So people can be directed to the right person. Everyone who walked in just waited around. No one was greeted, no one was questioned on if they needed help with something. This was even worse than the DMV. The manager should really have some expectations for professionalism by the employees. I mean when I walked in the lady at the counter had on open toed wedges, leggings, and a t-shirt that said “blessed.” Yeah you’re blessed, but seriously? Not professional attire at all.

Not a bad place. Very limited parking and loading space, I was very surprised how small the parking lot is. Ham Lake is a bit nicer and spacier.The customer service I got was pretty exceptional, Im use to mopey/rude service but my visit on Wednesday was quite comfortable when I had to fill out my title form. Not sure who the guy was I talked to on the phone but he was great, helped me right away. Thanks to Susie for holding my title. Thanks to other girl that helped me fill out the title forms since it was my first time after finding out I had to drive 35 miles to get the title filled out after waiting 6 weeks, guy at the sublot said the title would just arrive in the mail with the paperwork lol. Lesson learned, beginners luck.Only thing that sucks is my title wont arrive apparently for 3-4 months. Thats a big bummer to me. Only other complaint thats more my fault is when they rinse cars out before pictures and placing on the lot my car must have not got an undercarriage wash, picked it up and the rockers have all but rotted away entirely. Again, my fault for not checking it out before buying.

The two low star reviews can be handled by saying this..READ THE TERMS! Runs/Drives is clearly laid out as to what this means. It means it started and moved under its own power forwards a few feet. I will agree the runs and drives term is misleading.No test drives.. Also clearly laid out in the rulesNo money back! Um ya, they are sold as-is where is. again. in the rules.Copart is nothing more than an auctioneer that handles loading/unloading for the consignor.. Normally an insurance company (these cars are wrecks folks!) with a few exceptions for donated cars.Their fork lift damaged my car!!! Ya.. its happened a time or two to me. but guess what, if I go in the office and explain the damage and show them it was not there in the photos they have worked with me including canceling the sale.Over all these guys are great. Spend 30 minutes in their lobby once. I dont know how they put up with some people.UPDATEThe yard has moved. The new yard has tons of parking for cars and big trucks.The old yard in fridley is still in operation but as a sublot. No payments or titles there.

The techs that checkin the cars at this location are very dishonest 3 times now this location scammed me run and drive one car had a hole in the block 2 cars didnt move at all not under there own power. Maybe the wheels moved on a lift other locations dont scam people like This one. Vehicle listed as running spent 2 hrs waiting to find the keys oops no keys and when finally opened the ignition wires had been cut, they totally blew it and I missed my next pickup also they have absolutely no semi parking I had to park on a narrow shoulder of a very busy 4 lane, my company will never go back

They say they have run and drive vehicles but when you go to inspect the vehicle u can only put it in gear which does not say its road worthy.They also have a misleading member pledge that what they state is what you will get or your money back but as soon as a vehicle is taken from there lot run and pledge means nothing..So becareful with all the additional fees and the inability to accurately determine if a vehicle is road worthy I would stay away from this place..And I this is coming from a person who has been in autobody and insurance adjuster for over 15 years.....................

I have bought 10-15 cars from copart and have been very happy. One person said in a post here the run and drive dont mean anything to them. Well they describe the vehicle to the best ability they can, they are not mechanics. If the vehicle moves back and forth under it own power its a driver Its your job to inspect the vehicle you bid on. Bring a car trailer a jump pack and an air tank just incase. The auction fees are cheaper than other auctions too. No matter what auction you go to there is always going to be fees. The fees are reduces if you become a premium buyer and I am. Going up again to buy 3-5 cars again this week. If you want to get a steal of a deal come to the auction if you want a warranty goto a dealership that has inspected the car but you will pay retail. I have never paid more than 1/3 of book and a vehicle yet.
