Derek is the best. I havent had a/c in this car for 4 years. Had multiple shops service it. But Derek fixed it! And his daughter detailed the car. Im estatic. Clean, shiny and cool!

Been back 3 times and the exhaust still leaks like crazy and he tried to charge me each time for more labor. Its a really simple exhaust fix and they just cant get it right. Ive missed work 3 different times now. Charged me $234.00 and about 5 hours of pay so far and I guess Ill have to go back again. These guys are obviously bolt on mechanics and anything more than swapping one part for another youre going to be in trouble.

Phenomenal mechanic and guy to trust with your vehicle. Has worked on 3 vehicles of mine now for years and never disappoints. He’s done everything from swapping an engine out, to replacing exhaust and everything in between. Highly recommend.

I spoke to the owner at Advanced Auto And I splayed to hear what was wrong with love vehicle he was very honest and very sincere about the prices in what he would be fixing he never lied or cheated they would overboard for getting money off of the just to fix my car I would recommend this place to anybody their owners very kind and very respectful the very understanding when you tell him what is wrong which a vehicle

The prices here are also very good as well, as he does not over charge. Ive used multiple mechanics in the New River Valley and have yet to find a better repair shop. Extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. Ive had other shops nitpick and tell me I also needed x,y and z done to my car. These guys have never tried to push me for extra work and always seem to be happy and quick to help. The best part is that every time they give me the bill, its always been less than what I expected.

Did not fix car. Charged $830 and broke down a week later. Did not tow, or offer to fix the car again in any way. Took it to another mechanic who fixed the EXACT things and the car runs fine now. Rip off, definitely look for another mechanic. Would give zero stars if I could.

Just regular guys not trying to hustle every dime out of you. They are the cheapest prices around and they do stand up quality work. I go to them for any car troubles I have. For example, I took my car to honda and they wanted 1000 dollars to fix my SRS, took it to new river auto and they said they could get me a refurbished part with labor for under 300$ I have had no issues with any of the work they have done on my car and will use them as long as I stay in the NRV

These guys are fantiastic. The redid my husbands tale pipes and muffler. Did a fantastic job. there is no longer an exhust leak. When my husband looked under the truck he said it looked good excpt a peice of pipe and a weld. He called the and told them they didnt change a peice of pipe and didnt weld it. They had him in the next day and out again with a new pipe and it all welded. they where very nice and still wave to him every time he goes by the shop.
