My driver Dave was absolutely amazing! When an unfortunate event led to my driver not being able to pick me up, Dave offered his services and drove me all the way to the Roanoke train station FOR FREE. I cant tell you how much his willingness to accommodate my situation meant to me. He talked to me during the entire ride and made sure that I was entertained and felt comfortable. He kept reassuring me that we would get to the train station on time and he got me there with plenty of time to spare. Thank you Dave for being an awesome driver!

My other ride to Roanoke fell through at the last minute at 4:30 in the morning but when I called they were still able to get a driver out and they had me at the bus station in time. Dave, my driver, was very friendly and helpful, despite the hour, and I got a good price on the ride even though it was last minute.

If i could give zero stars i would. I nearly missed my train to philadelphia because of you guys. I made a reservation on the 02/23/2020 to get a ride to squires at 4.30am on 02/27/2020....I called a day before to check in if they were still picking me up they said yes. The say arrived I kept calling them no one answered. By 4.45am I still havent heard from them. God been soo good as soon as i opened the lyft app i found a ride to catch my bus to amtrak.Why would I have it mixed up when it was the same number on your website I called. Are you trying to tell me another Taxi cab service has the same number as you guys?

Totally useless. Yesterday, I booked a cab pickup for 720 this morning and paid for it in advance. I needed to meet a bus at 8 am. The cab never arrived (its now 807, and the bus has left). The dispatcher did not respond to two voicemails, two text messages and 1 email sent over the past 40 minutes. This company is a great advertisement for Uber. Take your business elsewhere if you actually need a ride.

Text A Cab is the most dependable driving service Ive ever used! They picked me up at 4 am to take me to the airport when there were no Ubers available and Ive never used Uber there since! They are on time, affordable, dont surge charge and always professional! 10/10 would recommend!

Thank you for transporting one of our expectant mothers to and from her doctor appointment. Super friendly staff even though I called them super early in the morning. They worked with us over the phone from hundreds of miles away. They arrived on time and waited for her while she was in the doctor office.

Text-a-cab saved the day when I was stuck in Blacksburg and my Newark-bound flight was canceled. Owner Dave-Cab drove me for nearly 9 hours back to my college campus so I wouldnt miss an integral class to my college degree. He was beyond pleasant, I felt extremely safe, and he was a great jokester. If I DO attend Virginia Tech for graduate school, there is no other cab service I would ever rely on except for Text-a-cab.

Used to be good, but last time I used them to get to the airport, the air conditioner in the vehicle I was in was out; ride was hot and muggy. Today I called, got a recording that they dont check their voice mail every day and to send a text. I did that, waited two hours, no reply. Dont know if theyre out of business or if they dont want business. Unfortunate.

The service provided discounts which was good but the driver is horrible. Charged more money with out my knowledge. Unreliable and unprofessional. Hes got no communication skills , always angry. It was a pain to see him ride me first thing in the morning. I wouldnt prefer this service purely because I was cheated with money .

I am staying 1mile from IHop! I called for a cab and was told a round trip is $20! I asked the driver why so high and he said IHop was 2miles so I used Google Map to get the precise distance and it is 1mile! Thats 10/mile! If thats not outrageous I dont know what is! The other time I was at Days inn and asked for a round trip to Cracker Barrel and he wanted $53. I checked Google map and the distance is 7.3 miles which comes to $3.63/mile which is still very expensive. Compare Dallas Texas the rates are around $2/mile or less. Also, in response to their response if your service had reasonable rates perhaps I wouldnt have been so quick to cancel! Looking bad as a person is very subjective, when youre the one taking my hard earned cash. I think Id rather complain and these reviews gives people like me a voice!

I cannot say enough positive things about this cab service: Im a 3rd year med student on clinical rotations (ie, new to the area, with odd hours, few friends or resources, and very little money) and had some car trouble that left me without a ride for roughly 3 weeks. I couldnt have done it without text a cab - theyre cheap, dependable, and well, just good people; theyll never stiff you or leave you hanging - more than I can say for most cab services Ive dealt with. If you need a ride you can depend on, go with text a cab, theyre the best hands down.

They arrived on time in a clean car that smelled good. the price was 3dollars cheaper and the driver was really kind and help me with my suite case. I think everyone should take this service

I think TEXT A CAB is definitely the best cab service in the Blacksburg and Christiansburg area - Friendly drivers, clean cabs, cheaper prices, and always on time. You will feel very comfortable with everything. If you want to take a taxi, you should google it and take it without any hesitations.

Love these guys, they will drive you anywhere you want to go and for a good price. Also they are available 24 hours a day.

Couldnt find any uber or lyft rides to get me to the megabus stop, called them and had a ride in 15 minutes. Got a friendly driver and a cheaper ride then either uber or lyft, what more could you want?
