Called in didnt get to talk to anyone from USA! Then set up appointment, no show called back in was told I was out of their service area! Then said okay I will bring it down to your store but sears is out of business so where do I take it, was told they will contact me and arrange a time, and nothing more was said been two weeks still nothing, go to Rogers appliances so much better people and local aswell. Screw you sears!

This is just a re-routed calling center. Pretty much all local service repair companies are half the cost, better interactions, and dont vendor out their repair techs. Its a really awful business, and you are stuck using it if the local repair shops wont touch sears products.

It took them over a month to come back and repair my washer. I had an appointment set up for October 14th. They never showed up. When I called they said a part was back ordered and only five of the parts were shipped. I kept calling, and finally they told me they would just purchase the part locally. I went for five weeks without a washer. When the repair person showed up he had the missing part in his van.

The technician lied to me about the cost of the dryer part and the service charge. He took my card and signed an x for my signature due to covid regulations. Then charged over $300 what I agreed to pay on my card. I called Customer Service and they told me the charges were valid and apologized that the service technician gave me the wrong information on price.

Issue is not resolved and our dishwasher still does not work. Now we have a schedule another appointment from 8-5...which is very challenging for working families that have to be at work during those hours. Please fix or replace our dishwasher.

First, the phone menu system to get an appointment set up is a joke. Then Im scheduled from 10 am to 1 pm. The repair guys dont show up until 1:15. Then they did not come prepared. I have to print them a wiring diagram as they have nothing for my model. After an hour and a half they cant find the problem. Sears told me the charge would be $60 if no repair was done. The service guys told me the bill was $150 but they would be nice guys and write it down to a preventive maintenance call and only charge me $85. I paid it to get them out of there, but I knew I was getting ripped out of $25. Cant say Id ever call Sears home repair again and since it appears my only fix is to replace my dishwasher, I cant say Id go back to Sears again.

Very pleased with the service we received. When we checked around Bismarck and our surrounding area, we couldnt get anyone to come and fix our appliance. Sears put us on their list and within a couple weeks our appliance was repaired. They ran a diagnostic test and were able to fix it that day. Thank you, Sears.

My range was not scheduled to be repaired as you state in your email. My fridge needs repair and the man ordered the part that we need. The range, freezer, washer and dryer were all checked out for their yearly check up.Everything was fine with the repair visit.

Ridiculous wait time for repairs. We waited 3 weeks for a service call. Of course, when he finally came to look at our fridge he couldnt fix it that day because he didnt have the parts. Ok, understandable, but then the next available repair appointment was in another three weeks! So, instead of waiting another 3 weeks for the repairman we will end up fixing it ourselves. So much for the repair plan that we purchased!!

WARNING-DO NOT CALL this company. Today a rude, unprofessional, useless technician stole $100 from us after doing nothing to help fix our refrigerator. First, the initial thing he wanted when he came into our house was to find out how he was going to get paid. He “wanted the credit card” and “where’s the credit card “ , “I need to get paid now”, “which credit card are you going to use”. Then told us he “would not repair our refrigerator because someone else had tried to fix it and did it wrong” and “ if something went wrong, he didn’t want to be responsible “ because it “would be like getting with a woman that someone else had married” and he “wouldn’t do that”. Then we asked him to not place the refrigerator back because we would attempt to look at it and it was too heavy for me to move but he blatantly refused stating he “would leave it the way he found it”. Absolute waste of time and money. They tell you they will be there somewhere between 8am and 5 pm and you don’t know when until like 15 minutes before they go to your house. They should disclose that they won’t attempt to repair an appliance that was serviced by someone else!!!! Had I known that, I wouldn’t have thrown away $100 at an unprofessional and useless excuse for a repair service.I attempted to contact the customer service center afterwards only to get transferred to a call center in the Philippines that refused to refund my money or provide any help.Summary: thieves who steal your money!! Do not call them!!

I am extremely disappointed with Sears and dont even want to give them one star. They grossly overcharged me for what they did. I had them come out to fix or replace a broken ice maker. They charged me $99 to just drive out to the house and called it a diagnostic charge and didnt do a flipping thing except look at me and say yup, its a broken ice maker (which I already told them!!!!!! and they already was ready for as the repairman had a refurbished one with him !!!!!) So I approve putting that one in and 10 minutes later (yes, 10 frigging minutes) he is done - and I am told they charged me $135 for that 10 minutes. Thats ridiculous and not anywhere commensurate with what was done and the time it took to do it. I would think amounts would be figured as a percentage of the hourly fee as they already ripped you off of $99 (and lets be honest Sears - its a service call fee, not diagnostic!). This is holding customers hostage to their company and I felt robbed. I will NEVER buy Sears again and I have been a customer for over 20 years and currently have 9 items from them. I will never recommend them to anyone ever again and will tell everyone who will listen about this crappy business practice!!!!!!

The inspection of our microwave was available the next working day! However, it took TWO WEEKS for the part to be ordered and shipped to us. In this age of warehousing and shipping, that is HORRIBLE TIMING!SEARS and SAMSUNG should check on this!!!However, the day after the part arrived, the technician came ad 8 am and did a wonderful job installing the part and EXPLAINING what happened, what Samsung had already done to fix the obvious fault. The technician was very friendly and lept the work area clean.We love our Samsung Stove Top and Microwave and am so glad to have our Microwave back. The Sears Protection Agreement is very much worth the cost! Darlene & Deborah

Dryer fixed to satisfaction. The appointment was schedule two weeks out. Kind of tough to be without a dryer with three young children. They ordered parts based on my description of the problem and had them shipped to my house. Took a week for the parts, then had to wait another week to the scheduled appointment. What if the parts had been incorrect for the actual problem and had to wait again. Not very efficient and keeps the customer waiting too long.

Crapshow.Bought a snowblower right before sears closed in bismarck, sold on the fact that the appliance repair will stay active etc, bought the warranty as it was a decent price/value.Yet the warranty is fictional, non exist. You have to call into their call center, which is a pool of random ppl who non stop transfer your call to so they dont have to deal with any work....I was hung up on multiple times even...It took me about 15 calls (atleast) to get someone to assist me, that was atleast smarter than a rock......I was told to drop it off to a facility 300 miles away, or to pay them to come and fix it or get it for me. Yet i paid for the warranty, they are asking me to pay additional? They close these stores but do not plan these type of logistical matters out...All in all i think these fools are highly unprofessional, have no knowledge of anything, and really dont care to much about resolving your issues.The sears warranties in my mind are just bunch of BS.

Horrible !!!! This is the 4th time I have had these idiots at my house and my washer is still not fixed ! 5 months of having a broke down washing machine that I paid extra for 3 year protection plan !!!! NEVER EVER BUYING FROM THEM AGAIN !
