The Birmingham VA is one of the best in the country. We have lived all over & used many locations and I highly recommend this facility. All of the staff is friendly, courteous and professional. Scheduling is very easy & done more quickly than any other facility weve used. When someone says they will call back,, they actually do it! The parking set up is the best Ive seen. I cant say enough good things about this facility. We drive 2 hours to get here & its well worth it.

Worst VA in the country.

Representative/agent seem to get disconnected while talking to them. Representative kept asking me to repeat what I said because I would give out my phone number and they would get bunch of random numbers. Some kind of mediator on the phone must be saying crazy things to them. US phone lines are being tampered by someone? They transferred me to someone else, but the phone called ended as if a technical issue. I did not hear them physically hang up. God have mercy on the veterans that protected these people who tempers with phone lines...I was pretty sure I was registered in the VA hospital, in BHM but they are telling me that I need to register. Strange... If they are not being mediated by other US Agents against me, I am not sure if they really want to help veterans.

I posted a review about 6 weeks ago with pictures and the VA deleted it. So I will be checking periodically and if they delete it I will repost.The Women’s Clinic has a maternity department for women veterans that are pregnant. However this clinic does not have a changing station within the clinic, so it’s a major inconvenience, also I have had at least 3 doctors in a one years period because they can’t keep a physician. I have been waiting for 2 months (after being seen 3 times including the ER) to find out what’s wrong with me. The women’s clinic is not offering quality services to the women veterans.
