Everyone and everything about this place is great! The owner is amazing and always checks on you to make sure youre enjoying your time! And did I mention a complimentary beverage? Yes! I love this place!

First time here today and everyone was super nice and made feel very welcomed. I got the SNS manicure and it turned out great! I will definitely go back!

Lavish is a cut above others in terms of cleanliness, friendliness and nail services. The staff is very accommodating to my requests for 3 layers of gel polish on both mani and pedis. I am always promptly greeted and offered a beverage. They take the time to store which polish & the amount of coats I request in their computer, saving me time from searching through the endless possibilities of colors on their swatch wheel. Staff is highly attentive and courteous.

I went in for dip and the nail tech providing the service must not have known how to do it. After applying two coats correctly on all 10 nails, he applied another coat but only on 4 nails and not on top the entire nail, only a strip!.. this caused an obvious imperfection in the nail. He tried to drill and file down as much as he could to smooth and even it out, but that’s not how dips works. And even layer of dip needs to be applied to the whole nail, not just a strip. Once he realized how bad it was he then applied another coat to the entire nail. This made it look a little better than it was but the four nails still look awful and as though I have a junk of dip just sitting on top... they are completely uneven! I asked if he had ever done dip before and he proceeded to tell me because I had a tip that’s why they look like they did... i asked why the other 6 fingers (that he applied correctly) didn’t look like that and he said it was the placement of the tip on the other 4. Anyone looking at my nails would without a doubt question why I made for this service! Making a mistake is one thing, but not owning up to it is a completely other thing.

It’s hard to find somebody that does it right the first time with no snags in not need to go back this place does it right the first time and they served wine as well definitely recommend this place Kim did an amazing original painting. I had my eyebrows done as well. OMG I love them as well. They have a cbd pedicure. No time this time but definitely going to try it

Very clean, professional and enjoyable.

This place was great. My nail were shaped just the way I like. I have been here before, with previous owner, and was impressed with the cleanliness and each customer gets new manicure tools. I am happy to see the new owners are keeping that up. In this day of Covid-19 I am highly sensitive to cleanliness and they all wore masks, washed their hands frequently and disinfected the seating after every customer. Kim was GREAT!!!!

I just gave them a try because my old nail tech, Tea, moved to this place plus they are currently offering 20% and I loved it! It was really nice and clean inside. It just came under new management within the past 2 weeks so all the bad reviews are from the old management. The new management were great with customer service and super attentive. They are going to do a great job! Definitely give it a try!

Just so unprofessional nails where ugly I left unsatisfied I came in and wanted what I wanted but them being trifling and didn’t want to do my nails

Today was my first experience at Lavish & it was FABULOUS! They’re under new management so ignore the bad reviews & go check them out! Sang helped me pick out the cutest color & we had such fun conversations! Eva does such great design work too! I got a star & my roommate got small hearts for Valentine’s Day! I’ve never been loyal to a nail place since moving to Birmingham, but I’ve definitely found my new spot!

First time going back to nails since the pandemic started. They were great and made me feel very comfortable. Ill be using them regularly now!

We recently relocated from Michigan and had a hard time finding a nail salon we liked. I had Vu for a deluxe manicure and pedicure and he was Amazing!! Not only excellent at his job but was great conversation. The salon is very well kept and they had great selection of services offered! We highly recommend!!

I haven’t been happy with a nail salon or service since moving to Birmingham almost a year ago but this place was awesome! Salon is beautiful and everyone was nice. They took their time and made sure you were happy. My pedicure was amazing! First place I will happily go back to!

AMAZING overall experience! The staff is so caring and friendly. I had a pedicure with Linda and she did an incredible job! By far the best pedicure I’ve had in a long time. I highly recommend this salon.

Great pedi but when I got my nails done, the man put on the incorrect top coat causing the matte finish not to set properly. I pointed this out that my nails were not matte after I prepaid for matte nails and he added another layer of polish which did not fix the situation and then he tried to tell me that what I had was matte nails. My nails were shaped very uneven and poorly done. Very expensive for terrible customer service.

My first visit and was very good. I did not like the color that I picked. They offered to take off and redo. Very accommodating! Will return.

Understaffed and OverpricedI went at 2pm on a Wednesday afternoon, and was the only customer. During my pedi, 3 customers came in. They finished my toes, and then left me sitting in the uncomfortable chair for over an hour, while they rushed around to do the other customer’s nails. Finally, they said they were ready for me. I was told they have regular polishes to match the SNS colors. My nails and toes are two totally different colors, they don’t match at all. After 3.5 hrs, I was more than ready to get the heck out of there. I had to wait AGAIN for someone to take my payment - $106 with tip. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Love this salon! Been to a few in the area and Lavish definitely has the best atmosphere and did the best job on my nails! Hai really paid attention to detail and took his time to get it right. I got a gel manicure and signature pedi. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. We went on a Sunday so it wasnt overcrowded and they made us delicious mimosas with pomegranate seeds and slices of orange and lime. Will definitely be back!

Ask for Hai! Went in today to get my nails reshaped after having a bad experience the first time. He was quick and friendly. Will be back to sit in his chair again.

The place is nice and the stuff is okay but that is all for me!! They have 16 Mani stations and 20 pedi chairs and I have been here 3 times and only 3 workers. They are extremely slow and yes they do a good job but please believe they arent that better than the average nail salon on Hwy 280. So when the manager gives reason for them being slow, which was b/c they do such a excellent job.. And all I could think was No honey you charge more and for that I expect an excellent job... Then after you I was there for 2 hours and the only thing accomplished was my pedi and polish soak off (which was $70) they tell me if I come back they will take the cost for soak off off the cost for my nails.... Well when I get there that is negative b/c I came back 2 days later instead next day... I PROMISE I WILL NEVER BE BACK!!!

I love this place. Its so convenient to where I work and live. But today (Sunday) I came in to get a pedi with my sister, they open at 12. We walked in and sat for 10mins and only 1 employee had showed up for work. When your business opens at a certain time, your staff should be there early and set up and ready to take clients. If you open at 12 and you have 5 or 6 guest walk in to get their nails done, and only 1 employee... that doesnt even make since. I have never had any complaints about my services. I love this place, but today was very disappointed!!!

Clean, friendly I got an amazing acrylic full set manicure with sns probably one of the best Ive ever gotten and...the problem is (I think) they put the wrong color on my toes because they dont match. Mike attempted to add another color on my toes that would be closer to my mani color but my 2 problems are it still doesnt match and he painted right over the last color. Although I really appreciate the effort if Im paying full price for something it should be done correctly. I also dont get my nails done often so I would appreciate a job well done...will consider coming back because the manicure was incredible

Update: if you decide to come to this nail spot, please set an appointment with Tammy or the lady with tattoos... do not, I REPEAT, do not let Hai do your nails, especially if you are wanting tips. He has done my nails 2 times and have rushed the process, my nails are crooked and there is a hump where the tips end. I will not be coming back due to his subpar service.

I got there 2nd when they opened and they didnt have a sign in sheet and didnt ask who was first...just took people who came in way after those of us who had been there. Way under staffed
