Very honest and thorough computer support provided. William was superb! If theres ever another need for computer service, it will certainly be my first stop.

As of November of 2020, their hourly charge for labor is around $75. Not a very competitive rate, especially for a small business, and not the price or service I was expecting from all these positive reviews. It may have something to do with COVID, but I feel like theres more I could get for the money.

Im very pleased with the work Wilson Computer Support did on two of my laptop computers. Both of them had some significant issues and both were repaired in a reasonable amount of time and at a reasonable cost. The staff was friendly and very professional. I will not hesitate to use Wilson again for all my computer issues. Highly recommended.

Wilson computer helped us revamp our websites. Their level of professionalism was excellent along with their ability to communicate with us without using tech terminology.In other words their goal is to produce a good product, along with a good experience for their customers.We also used their computer repair service during this time and found the same level of knowledge and speed in the repair section of their company.They are good at hiding their angel wings, but we know they have them.It was a good and very productive experience for us.

First time customer of Wilson Computer Support and the service was excellent. I called to schedule an appointment for residential support on a wireless printer and the tech support rep was at my house within three hours of my call. Charley, technical support representative, was on time, very knowledgeable and was able to solve my printer problem quickly. Not only did he resolve the printer problem but he was able to assist me with several other computer related questions/issues that I asked about. I would highly recommend Wilson Computer Support and would most definitely use them again.

I had a wonderful experience with Wilson Computers!! My computer had a virus, so I took it in to Wilson to see if they could help me. Everyone was extremely professional and knowledgeable. The technician (Michael) explained everything in terms I could easily understand:). They were also very timely; I got my computer back the next day and havent had a problem with it since then. I am so appreciative of the prompt and professional services that were given by Charlie White. He had me working within hours and fixed my unresolved issue by the next afternoon. I had upgraded to Windows 10, which was disappointing to say the least. Also, in the process, my printed quit printing. Im in Birmingham for the week on business and I dropped my computer which resulted in a much shattered screen. I called Dell and they said it would take 10 days to repair, I then traveled to Best Buy and they told me 2 weeks. I found Wilson Computer through a google search and they had my computer repaired and back to me in less 24 hours! Very friendly people and they charged a great price ( a lot less than Dell quoted). I highly recommend this company.

I originally called because my email was not working. But when he arrived the email had started. After a few adjustments everything was fine. My printer was not working. He soon located a pencil that had rolled into the printer. After removal of the pencil it was out of ink but,appeared to be fine otherwise/

I had a cracked screen on my laptop and I went to Wilson Computers. Unfortunately, the part was difficult to find and too expensive from the vendors who had it, and thus I decided to keep the cracked screen. However, the people at the Valleydale Branch were extremely polite, accommodating, and genuinely disappointed that they werent able to find a resolution to my problem.Even though my computer wasnt fixed, the quoted labor hourly rates were very reasonable, and that combined with the wonderful customer service made for a good experience! I would recommend this business.

Wilson Computer Support recently cleared up a serious computer virus that had suddenly made my laptop computer completely nonfunctioning. Cynthia took my order late on a Friday afternoon and Brandon had resolved the problem by the middle of the next day (on a Saturday!). This computer has been working fine ever since, and I did not lose any of my files. I appreciate the courteous and prompt service, and am very, very pleased at the technical solution.SK

We called these guys out after a total hard drive failure on our main computer. They were here within 30 minutes and diagnosed the issue. They were able to get us a new computer up and running the same day. We have spent hours on the phone with the technical support for our accounting software. The technician Kenny was able to resolve the issues within minutes. We refer these guys to everyone we know. Good job Wilson Computer Support!!! Everyone with computer issues need to call these guys.

…….Silly Me!Last week, one of my wood working tools started giving me problems. I checked it out and found that the USB port, on the circuit board, had broken. The norm, now days, is to replace the circuit board because that’s the safest and fastest way for the repairer. I didn’t want to spend almost $300 for the circuit board, if I could get only the broken part replaced. This would be much less. I decided that being computers have circuit boards that I would look for a place that repair computers. On my computer I entered “Computer repair near me” and found a business that had a Google 4.8 Star rating. WOW! This looked like a good possibility to solve my problem. I removed my circuit board and went to their address. I spoke to a lady in the office and soon concluded that she was in charge of the office and the place to start. I showed her my circuit board and explained that the USB port was broken and needed to be replaced. From our conversation, I got the impression that this company often did repairs to circuit boards and could most likely fix my board. She stated, “We have a $35.00 diagnostic fee, if you let us fix your equipment, we will absorb that fee”. I wasn’t worried about this fee; after all, she had implied that they often do this type of work, so they must have the special tools for micro soldering and the know-how needed to do the job. Plus the fee would be absorbed and my board fixed. Not a problem…..Silly Me!She had told me they usually contact you with a quote in about 24 hours. I did not hear from them so after about 48 hours I called and asked for an update. She said that the tech was gone to lunch and she would have him call me. A good while later, he called and went into great detail as to why he could not fix the problem, it could overheat the board and that it was in my best interest to replace the board. All this time during his comments, I’m thinking……Overheating, soldering problems……..Not a problem if you have the special tools that’s needed and the know-how……Silly Me!The next morning I went to pick up my circuit board. A young lady and man were in the office, the lady that I had been conversing with had not arrived. I was informed that the ONLY charge was a $35.00 diagnostic fee. I told them that this was the first time that I paid someone to tell me the job was beyond their capabilities. Seems more time was spent on the notes on the invoice and e-mail than the “diagnostics”!I have to admit, I was warned: “We have a $35.00 diagnostic fee”……..Silly Me!Claude SteeleUpdate: 10-18-17 This morning, I received a phone call from the department manager stating that there had been a mistake in charging this fee. I told him that it wasnt the amount of the fee, it was that they would charge a fee, already knowing what the problem was and not being able to fix it. He said that he would feel better if he reversed the charge......Well see!Update: Credit was posted to credit card account 10/20/17.

Wilson Computer literally just left my house. I am so stinkin happy right now, I cant stand it. We were having issues with our wireless printers connecting to our router. After spending almost 3 days on the phone with ATT and trying to resolve myself, I hit a wall and called Wilson. By the time they left, I have both printers printing, all scans scanning and everything is synced with all laptops and cell phones. Noah was beyond kind and patient and made sure everything was working perfectly. Also, made sure I knew when he would be working in case I needed anything or had follow-up questions. Denise at the main office was also so nice and easy to work with and understood my printer frustration. I give them a huge thumbs up!!!!

I was very pleased with Morgan Valentines performance this evening! I specifically asked for Morgan to be my technician tonight, as he has solved many a technical issue for me before, and I know I can always count on him to get to the root of my problem, and solve it. Tonight was no exception--I called because I had an error message and couldnt upload photos to my laptop since installing the new Windows 10 program. It took a little while, but Morgan uninstalled and reinstalled programs until he got everything working properly again, even though the time ran way past his closing time. His dedication and professionalism is to be commended. Hes a hard worker and I appreciate his technical support so much! Morgan is an asset to Wilson Computer Support....and to grateful customers like me!!

I had a problem with my Iphone, which the Apple store told me nothing could be done and the phone was toast. I took it to Wilson Computer and talked to Charlie in the Alabaster store and he checked it out and I now have my phone working again. He really went out of his way to help me and communicated with me the during the whole process. He had it fixed on time and it was so cheap compared to what even a low end Iphone would have cost me, Wilson Computer definitely left money on the table. No question, I would recommend them to anyone that is looking for an honest place to have hardware fixed.

I came in with a laptop that had been estimated to need $200 in repairs from Best Buy, repairs I might add that would require the laptop being sent back to HP. The staff at WCS had my problems fixed in 2 hours and all for $55, a savings of $145. The staff was very friendly and took extra time to answer all of my questions. I highly recomend anyone to take their PC issues here before you go anywhere else.

This place saved my hard drive motor failure at a great rate compared to the inflated prices of the send-away hd drs. The reviews dont lie; I can fix a lot of computer problems myself but I would actually go here in the future just because they are honest and great service.

I had a problem recently with my computer fan and needed to have it replaced. Wilson got it done in half the time and at half the price of the big box stores. I highly recommend them for any computer problems you may have.

When I looked at the reviews and they were all 5-stars, I knew I had to be as objective as possible. I was and I came up with the following rating....5 stars.Derek came out and spent about an hour surveying our offices and talking to us about how we wanted our system to work. He quickly determined that it was all doable and said to call him when our new phones arrived.Scotty did the actual installation and setup of our telephones, DSL line, and our LAN all in about eight man-hours. During these two four hour visits, he hooked up phones, computers, copiers, fax machines, and our plotter. When we couldnt get the plotter to print, Scotty even diagnosed that problem and had it working in no time.Now Im thinking, is there anything that these guys CANT do?They were all polite, prompt, knowledgeable, and caring, qualities that I have rarely seen all in one place in recent years. I would be confident in recommending them to anyone.

Very pleased with this company and the service. Even the girl that answered the phone was helpful. Charley did an onsite visit and completed everything and more. Fixed my laptop, set up our router and extender and made sure everything i.e. ipad, printer, smart tv, etc. was all working. I also liked the way he explained everything. Thanks for all the help!!!
