Excellent service, friendly staff and a very good haircut. A friend recommended me to this place and I am so glad he did. Krista took good care of me. She did an excellent job cutting my hair, was friendly to talk to, and professional. Drinks and snacks are available while you wait. This is a 10/10 barber shop.

I have been looking for a haircut like the one I got from Mimi for years. Literally!Everything was super including the hot lather on my neck and a straight razor.Ill look no longer for the perfect cut.Oh, and there are lots of parking spots which was a wonderful surprise.

Have been going to Tutwiler for about 2 months now. I couldnt find anyone in Birmingham who could take care of my beard until I met the bearded douche himself, he also goes by Dustin if you care to learn his name. They are appointment only regardless of whether you are balding and in the military (is the Airforce really considered military, go Army!) so please do yourself a favor and make an appointment with either the Bearded Douche or Her! For real though this is the best place Ive ever gotten a haircut, and Ive lived all over the world, you guys rock!

Great atmosphere! Can order food and drinks(even alcoholic) from your seat! But, it IS movie theatre kinda food pricing.

Im new to the Birmingham area and recently discovered the Tutwiler Barber Shop after trying out many others in the area that simply left me disapointed with the cut received. -- After trying Tutwiler, I truly believe they are the best barbor shop in the area! -- Great staff; verry skilled and professional barbers here.

Felt insanely disrespected & blown off! I understand running a business via appts, but for me to come in ask if you any appointments available tomorrow & to never even open your schedule/calendar & simply state no openings until Monday. Keep in mind I’m Military & balding, so my cut isn’t gonna take long. With all the chairs empty. I’ll never waste my time coming back. The bearded douche motioned to her(eventhough he just watched her take a bite of food) to answer my question. Not at all how to treat a new patron! Complete oxymoron of Southern Hospitality displayed!

Would give less than one if possible. Men only attempted to refer me to a Salon for a pixie cut... I have a military style mens cut. Disrespectful in the extreme.
