My grapple truck broke down only 2 miles from where it was going. I called pro tow and they gave me a price of what it should be to go that short distance. After they delivered the truck they told me it would be 487.00.I will not be using this company ever again.I’ve never been charged that much for such a short distance. It’s rediculous!!!

Great experience on Saturday with this company. Had to pick up on I-65 and the driver was extremely helpful and informative on the best way to get our vehicle safely onto his truck and off the highway. Highly recommend this company.

Super high on rates and wouldnt let me get my insurance info out of my car so I could get a release to pick it up it was only there 36 hours it cost 300 dollars to get it absolutely highway robbery

I had a great experience with this service!!! My car wasn’t running right which already put me in a bad mood but when I called, the driver called me back shortly and told me he was on the way. When he got there (George) he was very polite and did not overcharge me at all, like some of the other reviews I’ve read. Then he took it to the dealership and dropped it off and gave them the keys and everything they needed to contact me all without me ever having to go up there. Great service and I will definitely be using them every single time if this is the kind of service they continue to offer! They definitely lived up to their professional name, in my opinion.

Got into a minor accident at the entrance of the subdivision where I live. Pro-tow tried to charge me $375 to bring my car to my drive way. I understand making money but that is a complete crook behavior.

They just saved us! Enclosed tailgate trailer lost a wheel on the highway and sheered the lugs off, so they had to pull it up on a rollback. From call to driveway in 2 hours. (We live in Pelham and were driving home from T-town when it happened.) Called AAA and a couple of other companies close to where we were broke down before calling them and no one could help. Our truck broke down in Hoover early one Sunday morning and had to get a tow back home to McCalla. The driver who came was very professional and polite. He took very good care of our vehicle. We did have to wait awhile for them to show up, but the said he had been extremely busy that night and was apologetic for the wait. I would recommend them.

My transmission went out while pulling a trailer and I called Weil Wrecker service who is owned by Pro Tow, they towed by a truck from Greensprings to Valleydale Rd, Droped my trailer and towed my truck to Jeffs Transmission on Morgan Rd... They charged me $425.00 That was on a Friday, Monday I called to complain and the gentleman said that sounded high and he’d have to talk to the boss when he got there at 12. He called a few hours later and said he hadn’t forgot me and then I never heard anything else from him again. My truck is a 3/4 Dodge NOT. Semi truck.

The guy who runs the impound yard is a major jackwagon. I had my car stolen and recovered by Hoover that same night which was a Friday. They are charging me a tow fee on top of 30$ a day storage even though I couldnt recover the car till Monday due to having the Hoover records open to issue a release form. One of the biggest rackets I have encountered. Tried going in today to plead with them but the manager wasnt hearing any of it, even scoffed at me when I wanted a copy of the release report back, like I am the criminal.

Just tell police department or fire u will get someone else to tow ur vehicle .. I guess this place has a contract with hoover...had a engine fire tow truck was called not by me... I coulda got it towed for nothing with insurance... but no against my better judgement I just figured insurance would take care of it..... they towed it about 6 miles to their shop was told wouldnt cost anything but the $30 a day storage but a $250 to my house 22 miles away.... was lied to..later called their office about getting something towed was gonna come to about $160.00 ... 22 miles from my house... so why $250 from same distance..... later that night had someone go pay the bill total was $310.00... my insurance towed it next day to my house .. no out of pocket... if ur vehicle needs to be towed ur already in a bind this company makes it worse!!!

This is the official towing services for the city of Hoover. I am guessing there are some serious kickbacks involved her as this place is totally lacking in customer service. If you need a tow, call anyone else. These people will wreck your car and overcharge for it, all the time treating you like a criminal.

Worst tow company in the state of Alabama. I was told 45 min to an hour end up waiting 2 and a half hours for someone not to show up these people are bad DONT USE THEM!!!!!!

Was told wait time was one hour, waited THREE. Other reviews below are on point. If your insurance tells you Professional Towing in Hoover, get them to call someone else and salvage the rest of your day.

It was the most horrible experience ever! The dispatcher was rude and I waited three and a half hours for a tow truck, after being told the wait time would be 90 minutes.
