Awesome experience, I toured several apartment complexes in the area because I was moving back home for work and was feeling discouraged everywhere I went either the staff was rude or the property didn’t feel worth the price. Abrielle Mullins did a phenomenal job saving my experience and day, as soon as I walked in I felt extremely welcomed, she was able to answer my questions with ease and showed me the entire property even in the rain while maintaining an upbeat attitude throughout my experience. There are several apartments complexes in the area but I highly suggest the Outlook at Greystone, you will not be disappointed!

The area is clean and kept up nicely. Reason for the two stars is I purposely chose this complex because it has a gate and you need a passcode to enter. The gate has been broken for 8 months and they said the fixed it and it was only working for about 2 days before breaking again. There is very little parking so when there is no parking spaces you have to park where you can and they give you tickets for it instead of telling people to move their boats and trailers to free up parking spots. It takes forever to get anything done unless you tell them its an emergency. I accidentally over paid by several hundred dollars and almost two months later, Im still waiting to be reimbursed. For what you get, extremely over priced. Will not be renewing my lease.

Maintenance staff is amazing, Can not speak too much on office staff much because there has been I know 3 property managers since I have been a resident (May 2020). The property is beautiful I concur with previous review about water and sewer charges I have 3-4 charges on my bill a month just for water and sewer. I reached out to new property manager about lease renewal because of increase. I also only gave 4 stars because for the past 6-8 months I have had to endure noise at night form college students who stay next door and lastly I have placed a couple of maintenance request in with the current assistant manager not only were they follow up with within a week just recently I had to go to her to verify that the order was placed and of course the truth was not told to me until I asked the maintenance guy if he had received my request prior to me following up with the leasing office. I love my apartment home

Ive been at The Outlooks at Greystone for about 3 years now and recently moved into a 2 bedroom there. First this is a REAL REVIEW from someone who actually stays there, not getting paid just a real review. Second much respect to the front office, theyre accommodating & listen to anything that can truly help the residence or property. Third the maintenance team is UNBELIEVABLE, I had a few issues with my new apartment and they immediately addressed the concerns in a timely manner. And kept me posted on everything, NOW is the property perfect, absolutely NOT (nothing is perfect), but do they strive to make everyone feel special and listen to their needs and address issues ASAP...ABSOLUTELY. If youre looking for a friendly complex with good people and staff, look no further The Outlooks is the place.

Phenomenal office and maintenance staff here. They are very fair and have worked quickly to resolve any issues that I’ve had.The only reason it is 4 stars instead of 5 is the water billing policy. Expect to pay $80ish per month for water PLUS your individual water usage. I would still recommend living here, but factor that extra cost into your budget.

Abrielle Mullins helped me with my property tour, lease signing, move out process (then decided to stay for a couple of extra months), and my final move out process. Slightly updated from a 1 star.I couldn’t figure out how to edit my last one.I’m updating because the manager did call me and she was kind. But it doesn’t change the original experience that I had.I expressed my main purpose was to ensure I get approved because I don’t have the best credit history and that waiting and following up process wasn’t the best I will try again in the future because the place is truly beautiful and the reviews are always amazing.Hopefully when calling to apply and going through the process again it’ll be more thorough with the last agent.But I do appreciate the manager calling me. She was amazing.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every second I’ve lived at the Outlook at Greystone! I moved in last June and the staff has always provided everything I’ve needed and made living here a pleasure. I put in a maintenance order last night and within 18 hours my request was fulfilled. Jarvis fixed everything I requested on my maintenance work order and went above and beyond. He was very polite and did an exceptional job! He even fixed something I hadn’t included in the original request, my sink knobs were very loose and he tightened them up perfectly. Thanks so much Outlook at Greystone and Jarvis!!!

This place is one of the best that I myself have had the privilege to be a resident in. The office staff will do there best to help you at. The maintance crew are always eager to help any way that they can. Not only did me and my wife love living here so did our precious dog. The apartments are nice clean and have all updated features including recently installed smart locks. The area is quite and the neighbors that we have encountered are friendly as well. The location is great! Everything is so convenient and its a straight shot down 280 to get to downtown Birmingham. The apartment features are nice and modern and the entire community has a really relaxed vibe. Its been a great stay so far!

I have really enjoyed this community! The amenities are awesome and the upgraded apartments are nice. Smart locks were just put on all of the apartments and you can control your thermostat from your phone now which is really cool. Overall it has been a great experience!

This is a beautiful community and it is very nicely maintained. The staff is friendly and professional. Elijah was very knowledgeable about the community and I liked the way the staff interacted with each other. Seems like they have a lot of fun working together and that transfers to their residents. I felt at home and will be leasing here for sure.

Was excited about this property but the communication has not been there I am literally chasing them it feels like to get information Elijah said it takes a week to hear back about application process that is new to me I will admit Because I usually hear back in a couple days. I’ve had no one contact me and I’ve reached out multiple times before I even applied to schedule a tour or some thing. And I haven’t heard anything back recently. Literally I am a tenant prospect who wants to be with you guys and it just seems like you guys don’t care. I had to basically ask things during the first conversation ( but I’m just use to them selling me on the property) It just worries me like should I go on with this process because if you don’t even respond to future tenants how are you gonna treat me as a resident.Wanted to update !Elijah reached out to me.But made matters worseDidn’t remember who I was AT ALL or the information he gave me or told me. And we had just talked last week, “ i will note this”Is what he said when I updated my move in date and made it very clearly he has more important things to do. Also made it seem like the property manager allowing me to move in would be doing me a favorI also asked him on the application process because that’s why I thought he was calling me ( again he forgot we had the convo) he told me what I can do to make it go by quicker and I asked him when I called him last week why he didn’t mention this to me because I would’ve been done these things and he said well I have other things going on it must’ve slipped my mind. I will not be moving forward at all if you guys don’t care about these little things how do I know you gonna care about the big things when I start move in process and be an actual tenant.Communication is key

I lived in a 1 bed 1bath. The only thing I’ve enjoyed about this place is the design. The floor plans are very small for what you pay. Valet trash keeps the property looking dirty because they don’t always pickup. Parking spaces are extremely limited. And the water/sub meter charge is usually $100+. I don’t have a washing machine. And I never used the dishwasher. So, don’t get too excited about how cute this place is like I did. Rated a cute mess!

The complex has its issues like they all do, but ultimately we are very well taken care of here. Management and maintenance are readily available and communicative. Ive never had a maintenance request pending for more than 24 hours. Most are taken care of the same day, and some instantly. I saw our maintenance manager, told him my disposal was broken, and he literally walked into my apartment and fixed it.

I have lived at the Outlook at Greystone for an excellent two years. The amenities are newly renovated and cared for. The new gym large and is by far the best around. The online residence system is intuitive and makes it easy to request maintenance. Furthermore, maintenance is very responsive. Best of all is the management team; they are very accommodating and receptive to community needs and plan numerous events, making it a welcoming community.The surrounding area is very convenient with several supermarkets, shopping centers, restaurants, etc. nearby, which is a big plus when living on Highway 280, and for the readers out there, the public library is nearby.

We had an immediate need to transfer from a second floor apartment to a first floor living space due to health reasons. We are grateful to the Outlook staff who were exceptionally understanding, kind, courteous, and efficient, and they made the transfer virtually seamless for us. Upon move-in, there were a couple of minor maintenance issues that were also very courteously and promptly addressed. Thank you Outlook staff!!

Amazing!I could not be more thankful to this complex! I’m new to not only this apartment but the area as well! The Outlook has provided me with amazing helping hands and genuine hospitality, I have felt at home since I have arrived. Moving in at such a scary time with covid 19, the staff and management have been so helpful, cooperative, and kind. They have kept me updated on all safely measures, any reopening dates, and even suggested some great places to try out and some areas I can explore here in Birmingham. They have made this new transition for me a breeze! The maintenance has always come quickly and have made me feel safe in my new home. I’m so thankful I can receive my packages directly at my door, this contactless exchange has been so appreciated and much needed in a time like this. We have lived here since 2018, we have no complaints about anything. The office people was/are very helpful and willing to do whatever to help us. The apartment for us was perfect. They all have been renovated with all new appliances and flooring. There is a dog park for those that have Fur Babies. There is also a little walking trail behind Building 6 that is somewhat in the woods. I have been on the trail walking and have walked up on deer.The swimming pools always very clean. The area also has a barbecue grill and a sitting area with a gas fir pit. The gym has been renovated and has all the workout equipment you will every need. They are have a computer room with printer for the residents to use. Not to mention the coffee cafe. The area is very nice and the complex was relatively quite. We loved the fact that it was a gated complex as well. The one thing that was hard especially for me was the office staff constantly changing. Dionne Kenny was an amazing wonderful person. She made it a point to remember people. She even was in love with our little dog named Tiny. Tiny won pet of the month and also won best Christmas pajama day. She (Dionne) always made you feel like family. She is not the only one. Abrielle Mullins has also gone out of her way to help us with whatever was going on. The guys that handle the maintenance are also making things better for you. They like the office staff are friendly and will go out of their way to help. Yes 2020 has been a rough year for just about every one that I know. And the office staff and Bell Properties have made things much easier for the ones that are struggling from either losing their jobs or those that has had COVID-19. Me and my husband have truly enjoyed living here and getting a chance to meet such great people. From Dionne, Abrielle, JK, Bethany, Cole and the newest of the group Robin. Each one of y’all have touched my heart and spirit in some sort of way. I will truly miss each of you. One day, who knows we might comeback and this is the place we would live again. I would highly recommend looking at this apartment complex when looking for a new home. Between the amazing staff, the events planned, the gym & pool access. I couldn’t be more happy with where I am.Maintenance reports are done in a professional manner, communication is always timely.The only thing I’ve had to learn to be patient with is parking space.

I have lived at the Outlook at Greystone for 7 years now and I have seen a lot of changes over the years in management and property ownership. The pool, gym and club house have all received upgrades and they are used by more residents now than ever before. There are a wide array of folks who live at this complex but most neighbors are kind and respectful to one another.The new office staff and maintenance group has greatly improved during their tenure at this property. As residents, we are well taken care of here and genuinely appreciated by the current group of employees at the Outlook.

I moved here June 1st 2020 and that was the best decision I ever made! I was living with my mom and she passed away July 3, 2019. I thought I could stay in the home house but when COVID hit and I started working from home in March and I started to feel depressed because going to work every day was helping me deal with my grief. Being at home and mom is not there to talk to became depressing and I needed and out! So I call and I talked to Abrielle so was so sweet and so pleasant to work. She made my move so easy and I really want to thank her for all the help she did for me in transitioning into my new place for my fresh start! We just moved our Daughter into the Outlook at Greystone. The entire experience was great. They were accommodating on the move in date and worked with us as needed as to insure everything was ready for the big day. This is a well lit gated community with friendly staff that were quick to respond to any issues that arose during the days around our move in. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for your new Home.

I honestly would like to post a negative review so that less people want to live here and I can park closer to our apartment. But this place is great. The high ceilings are a nice touch but will add about $20-30 extra per month for AC and heat. Worth it in my opinion. Gym could be bigger.

My boyfriend and I have lived here for close to a year now, after a month everything was going pretty good and we never had an issue, valet trash was always on time, maintenance was on top of any request put in. However, if you like being able to hear your neighbors do LITERALLY anything this is the place for you. We have spoken to the front office numerous times and nothing has been done and our concerns have been brushed off. The walls are paper thin, I can hear the phone conversation of the women that live on one side of the apartment, I can hear the people snoring on the other side of the wall in our master bedroom and the kicker, I can hear the man snoring who lives BELOW US, yes that means the floors are also paper thin.

Lived here a year now. The maintenance staff are excellent and help right away and are willing to go the extra mile to help you out. They work on a mutual respect, you respect them they respect you. Other tenants cross the line and make good people pay for it. Dog friendly place, clean and safe. Costs a little more than some unless you catch the rate in a downswing. Pool is nice and they clean it regularly, once again, its the few tenants that dont follow the rules who dirty it up. They have been throwing nice events free throughout the year as well. Could use a little more space for the price though.

We have lived here since December and love it. I love all of the amenities, anytime there is an issue and I put in a work order maintenance has it handled the same day or the next day. The only downside is there is no parking authority. All the people that park on the curbs make it hard for me to get my work truck out in the mornings, one morning someone was so far off the curb I had to wake up my fiancé to come outside and help me back my truck out so I would not hit them. I really hope they remedy this problem soon, other than that everything is great!

I have lived at the Springs, now Outlook at Greystone, going on 5 years now. Our maintenance staff is amazing. They take care of our maintenance requests same day and ensure it is done correctly. In the beginning of Bell Partners take over, there were a lot of growing pains. At no fault of the staff, we struggled through the changes and they worked tirelessly to ensure our happiness as residents. There are several changing being made aesthetically to the complex and it is coming along quite nicely. There is a large effort from the staff as a whole to communicate with residents and allow us to be as involved as we can be in these changes and proposed changes coming down the pipeline. I have personally seen a renovated apartment and it is gorgeous! There has been a lot of thought and time put into choosing these upgrades for the renovations and it really shows. Thanks to all of our complex staff, yall are awesome!

I just moved into the property and overall it has been a great experience. The application process was very simple and convenient since I moved from Florida. JK the manager is amazing she responded to my emails and requests at about 7pm and still to this day responds almost immediately even when she is off. Maintenance requests are simple convenient and they complete the request within a matter of hours. Any issues I have had JK has made sure my concerns were addressed and handled immediately. The only reason why I did not give 5 stars is due to the parking issue. If I come home after 8 I have to park so far from my unit with my toddler. It would be nice if they had more parking spaces.

I have been at The Outlooks at Greystone since late 2018 and I can honestly say the staff has truly been UNBELIEVABLE. Dionne and Abrielle have consistently shown their professionalism from addressing community issues (i.e. street lights, parking, possible noise complaints etc) to passing out breakfast snacks, pizza parties, rep your team event etc. One of the Outlooks greatest strengthens is how much they truly care about their residents and how they can improve your overall experience. They ALSO have interactive activities to make the community feel more like a family.I cant leave without giving a quick SHOUTOUT to the maintenance crew, day in/out, REGARDLESS of weather, time WHATEVER theyre improving the property and addressing any apartment issues within hours...GREAT JOB!!!I would HIGHLY recommend this property, the apartments are beautiful, property gorgeous and the staff makes me feel all warm inside, like a gummi bear in a pocket.The only knock on the property is the parking, its like the Hunger games after a certain time.

This used to be a great place to live until Bell took over. Now they do not let you know when packages arrive. They will not return phone calls. They do not give you information about renewing your lease. The maintenance guys are great when the office lets them know that a renter has a need, but the office staff is only interested in collecting payments from the renters. They do not care about the people who live here.

Im moving from Texas to Alabama and Abrille has been wonderful, My lease starts on Feb. 17th but I wont be in Alabama until March 17th. Everything has been good so far considering I havent visited this apartment. The manager Dionne gave me a bad first impression over the phone. Shes so rude and she talked over me the whole conversation. I asked simply can someone turn off the lights in the apartment considering I wont be there until March. Her first few words was Look this is courtesy, No one can do it today (very aggressively). I really hope you guys have better managers than her because her customer service skills will run people off. I understood its courtesy but its all about How you say it! Hopefully she learns not be so aggressive with new tenants and work on how she word things.If I can give Abrielle her own rating it will be 10 stars because she was so helpful.

Parking is an absolute NIGHTMARE!!! There arent enough spaces for all the residents to park, and people park literally in the road and no one does anything about it. This car is routinely parked right in the road, and thats just okay. Management is completely non-responsive and terrible. You cannot reach anyone by phone to talk to them. I would NOT recommend living here. Apartments need updating on the inside too. Gross carpet.

I wouldnt recommend living here to anybody. Management is pretty unresponsive when you have questions/concerns and the amount that youre charged for utilities (billed through the property management company) is incredibly high. Not to mention the amount of space and condition of the units that you pay for. Explore all of your options before signing on at this place. You will be expected to pay unnecessary fees and sky-high utilities. Very disappointing.

Ive lived here for 6 months and never had a problem at all. The staff are great. I had an issue with a package being put in the wrong mailbox by the mail carrier and they went above and beyond to try to help me out. They know my name and are always courteous to me. The facilities are great. Maintanence is super quick about fixing anything, replacing light bulbs. Everyone is just generally very friendly in the complex. I refer to it as my neighborhood rather than an apartment complex. Its very quiet, I love it because I can hear the crickets outside my window at night. Ive never had a problem with people cleaning up after their animals. The dog park is nice, but isnt lighted which would make it better. There are always programs going on. I dont go, but there are a ton of them which helps community. Overall, Im very pleased with it. I feel very safe and secure which means a lot in Birmingham for a single woman.

The staff is very friendly.I can’t speak English, but everyone was kind to me.In the room which moved in, electric appliances and carpets were replaced with new ones.I think the living environment here is very good.

Sadly, deteriorating fast. I have lived here at the Springs for over 3 years now and the reality is, they will brag about being at full capacity but this place is not what it once was. There has been new management for about a year now and they are likely to blame for the negative changes.The funny thing is, they have raised the rates considerably and are at full capacity but maintenance issues take much longer to address and often have to be re-requested. Also, the staff has down-sized and is less competent. Rarely will someone answer the phone in the office now. No longer do you get any type of notification if receive a package in the office. Simple issues like assigning proper gate access to buzzers has required several attempts for them to correct. Have noticed an overall lack of professionalism with some of the office staff (on personal calls during work, attire, leaving early and getting there late, etc). Yet they have raised prices and are at full capacity...somebody is making money. Eventually this will catch up to them. Its all the little things that add up and change the overall experience. Stuff like not cracking down on/cleaning up dog crap. Routinely have to dodge it just walking out to the car now.Cody is still a great maintenance guy and probably deserves a raise, but shouldnt have to work everyday and when hes on vacation or a day off it shows...fast. Pool gets closed for a weekend (first time ever). It used to be you could call the office and often, an issue would be taken care of the next day. Have put in several online requests that dont even get handled in the course of a week. Once again, understaffed and likely poor communication due to new office management and staff. Cole in the office is pretty good.This place is still one of the better apartments to live on 280 but if this trend continues and they keep jacking up prices I wont be renewing my lease. The sad part is it used to be great. Hope you can take this and turn it around Springs.

I have lived here officially a year and I love this place. I toured SO many apartment complexes and by FAR this place is the best apartment complex. The staff is so AMAZINGLY FRIENDLY and the apartments are VERY NICE. Every aspect of this place is amazing and I could not recommend this place more!

I would highly recommend this apartment complex simply for the fact that it is more like a neighborhood than a complex. Most of the neighbors know one another and look out for each other. One major factor that has improved my experience (2+ years) is JK, our manager and her team. J.K really cares about the people living here and I think she sees that everyone goes through things and actively helps as much as she can. This is the first complex that greets you as you come home some nights with hot dogs or a goody bag. Morning breakfast meets and so much more to help out the community. The maintenance team is always helpful and friendly. I’m really grateful for J.K, I think she brings a new level of kindness to an apartment complex I have never seen in my years of renting from various places.If you love weekends at the pool, our pool is really awesome and the neighbors are always around it on weekends enjoying and learning about each other. Friendly environment and any issues get resolved quickly.This is a place that goes above and beyond! A big huge thank you to J.K and the team!

Since this complex was recently bought out by Bell Properties, it has slowly gone downhill. To no fault of the new company, the complex acts as dorms for a local college. They pack kids into apartments all over the community. This causes severe parking issues on top of all of the visitors that park in resident parking. Bell Properties refuses to address the situation despite repeated attempts by residents to contact them. Rent is high for what you get. Water is 100+ dollars a month for a one bedroom. The speedbumps are more like curbs. Rules are not enforced and resident issues are given the runaround.Basically, if you can make it home by 7 every night to find parking, want to take it back to your college dorm days, and overpay for a less than premium complex...this place is for you.I will update this review in the future if any resolutions are made.

Great place but you need to ask about hidden fees 80 dollars for sewage a month is crazy plus water bill and lots of other charges so when they tell you the rent need to add at least 200 or more dollars to that .. it is a nice area and well maintained just ask before you sign on the dotted line

If you hate valid trash, this is not the place for you. When you have neighbors that rather leave their trash outside their door when there is not a pick schedule, you see and smell this(see pic) for three days. Its attracting flies and bugs all around the surroundings and its horrible. Management doesnt nothing to deter this practice and there are many residents that are lazy and will leave it out there. Just another fee that new management choose to add. Hate it, hate it, hate it. I will not be renewing my lease.

Love my complex and would highly recommend! I have a 2b2b with a garage and its such a great space especially for the price! The front office staff, JK and Dionne, are SO nice and helpful and they go above and beyond to make sure you have your needs met. Maintenence is always responsive and everything Ive asked has been repaired within a few days. Pest control comes weekly and pests arent an issue. Its super dog friendly and most apts have some yard space outside their front doors that are great for letting pups out. Also hella water pressure! And the amenities are great, the pool is always hoppin and Ive made some great friends! 10/10 would move in again!

You know its GREAT place to live when everyone knows, just from word of mouth, that this is the place to live if you love roaches. We looked at renting at this location and lo-and-behold, when we walked in the door--roaches. At least these were dead, right?Aside from the infestation that seems to never be controlled, my wife and I were not thrilled with the size of apartments vs the price they were requesting. The only apartments that would have fit in our budget required climbing a flight of stairs (that I can only assume is the equivalent of hiking a small mountain) and were not large enough to put any of our not-so-large college-kid furniture we had collected over the years.If this is your type of thing... this is the place for you.
