I can honestly say that Ive never had a bad experience with Greyhound. Drivers and Staff always helpful and polite. Bathroom is clean and so is the Bus area. I always look forward to riding Greyhound. Keep up the good work, Greyhound. Its always a pleasure, be safe and God Bless.

Greyhound itself is still an awesome way to travel - cheap, easy, and way underrated. But its also the combination bus stop for binghamtons regular business junction so its a true mix of the entire citys population. Here youll rub elbows with just about everyone, students, working class, the general poor, town junkies, out of Towners, and even the earth conscious elite. Even if youve been vaccinated, Id recommend wearing a mask though.

Horrible. Bus is an hour late and now Im gonna miss my connecting Amtrak train because of it. Ourbus is so much better and cheaper. I have been consistently underwhelmed by their service and this was the last straw.

Not only was the driver late the greyhound employees putting laundry putting luggage underneath the bus were rude and yelling at peoples faces. a first impression is a last impression I’m not sure if I will ever ride another greyhound bus

Its Greyhound, what more can I say. We dont have a train yard or airport (all flights go to Detroit to transfer) outta Binghamton so its this, drive or walk.

Bus was completely PACKED full on my trip from Binghamton to NYC. No enforcement of mask requirements, bus started boarding at the time it said it was going to leave, the driver stopped at the rest area and said we were going to have 20 minutes which turned out to be 37, when we were already running late. This is a completely unsafe way to travel during a pandemic, and done very poorly. For the amount of money I had to pay for this, I should have just driven. Not sure I will take Greyhound ever again. If you’re concerned about social distancing and safety while traveling during Covid, do NOT take greyhound.

The busses were 2 hours late and we missed our other bus because of it and had to get another ticket to go to the place we need to go , this is the 2nd time it happened

The buses are clean and you can smell the cleanness when you enter the bus, I also use a walker which they were very careful to make sure that nothing was on top of my walker, and also were very fast at having my walker at the door when I got off the bus. They were very pleasant to speak too.

Someone stole from me during a 10 minute bathroom break at this station.

Buses are full during a pandemic. Not safe at all. Even with a vaccine, buses should not be at capacity.

They illegally threw me off the bus, and my baggage went down to the port Authority nyc station and my medical equipment is in the baggage.

Not a good experience. They messed up my tickets causing me to have to take a different bus. Which resulted in me having to purchase another 200.00. In bus tickets. They would not give me any credit or refund for my original tickets

They need to make sure that they knowledge before people to get to the destination and get on the bus on time if thats happened so the bus was leaving at 12:30 I just made it if 5 minutes before boarding the area where Im cussing when picking up my ticket was closed and Ill became upset and the people was giving me wrong direction until I went to the information booth he gave me the correct information I dont know what else to say but they got to be more knowledgeable for people to make it on time today destination thats all

After 24 hrs trying to contact this company i am sadly to say they dont stand up to there name. I lost my bag bag Yesterday and I havent been able to connect with one dissent person in at greyhound. I spoke to 10 employees and none were able to assist me. This will be the last time I use them and I highly recommend everyone to stay away.

To preface this review: This is the first trip I’ve ever taken solo, so take that for what you will.I arrive at the bus station at 11:00 on Tuesday morning to catch the 12:10 bus to New York. The bus is 20 minutes late, and what was supposed to be a 10 minute stop at the station is a 30 minute boarding experience. I went to the desk to ask where I would be boarding and there was no help, as both staff members were outside smoking at the same time. The bus I got on stank to high heaven, and the seats were falling apart. One of the charging ports worked on the whole bus, and the outlets were coming out of the seats. Some of the backs of seats were missing, and 4 seats were unusable because they were broken. Our driver drove like a bat out of hell, was unprofessional, and did not greet us and explain to us the amenities of the bus. We pulled out of the station after 20 minutes of idling and trying to put the bus in gear, and then pull over for absolutely no reason. Someone asks if there’s a problem and the bus immediately starts moving again. We pull out for a rest stop about a half hour into the trip; the driver takes 40 minutes to get his food, and after we pull out of the rest stop, someone in the front voices the concern that the bus driver is falling asleep at the wheel. This happens twice on the way into the city. Avoid this bus station for safety purposes!!!!!!

As far as bus stations are concerned, its nice. It is clean and recently remodeled. There is a coffee shop. Very little parking (25 cents for 30 min... Cash only).

Out of New York City. The bus was supposed to leave at 6. At about 6 they changed the terminal that we were leaving out of so I had to race over there with my luggage after waiting in line for 45 min. Then I specifically paid for one that had no stops and would take 3 hrs just to find out they were stopping in Scranton. Because a friend was picking me up I wanted to forewarn her of the time and when I nicely asked her how long it would take she said she didn’t know..... when I knew she did! I tried to explain that I needed to tell the person picking me up she said 9! Come to find out that was for Scranton. Then she says..... I might have to stop for a pit stop also! So I should have been to Binghamton at 9......and now it’s going to be after 10pm! Then I had to listen to her ( bus driver). use foul language with some guy friend of hers the entire time ! There was a little one on the bus! I would give no stars if I could!

This is the worst bus service ever. If there was a negative 5 star that’s exactly what I’ll give.how can it be winter they close the station and then there’s a bus delay of 3hours and they don’t give send an alert. They treat people like we are not humans.shame on you

Bus is dirty and leaking water from overhead storage bins. Exposed wiring seems like a safety hazard to me. Not impressed at all with greyhound!!!

Clean Bus Station. Would be nice to have better notice of what line to be in for the bus youre taking. There is a restaurant inside, but has strange hours. I would recommend HIGHLY to visit Little Venice next door if you are on a lay over or long delay. Best Italian Restaurant Ever!! (And I live in NYC!)

I have a friends daughter that stayed with us from Florida. She was here in Binghamton to get her 3 sons. Twins 6 and other boy 10. When she called to book the bus trip she was told that they would only sell her 3 tickets. She had to hold 1 of the twin the entire trip and there would be no charge. So now there is no record of this child on the bus. God forbid if there was a terrible accident there is no record of the 3rd child should they have to identify bodies. Plus the trip is 31 hours with 1 layover that 3hours and 15 minutes long in NYC.I FIND THIS NOT RIGHT. Im sure they have their reasons but the safety of the 3rd child is much more important than any reason they may have for rejecting a seat to the 3rd child.I wish there was another way to get them home. This rule SUCKS!!!!

DO NOT TAKE GREYHOUND! Customer service here was a joke. Took my sisters bag and switched it to a different bus without saying anything. The bus driver didnt care and sat on the bench smoking a cigarette. The representative inside gave a phone number that didnt work. No one cared most frustrating experience ever.

No Covid-19 measures were in place (taking temperature/ making hand sanitizer available/ all the seats were full). It is not safe to travel with them now.

I dont like to post negative things but i was supposed to see my Dad for Xmas and the bus was 2 hours late and didnt have any sort of notice about being late. Our terminal wasnt open and we just waited in the cold. I was talking to another person waiting for the bus and she had a flight that she might miss because of the lateness. Everyone was upset, cold, and confused. Not until 10 minutes of being on hold did we get an answer to find out that the bus was going to be late.

Been travelling with greyhound bus for a few years. They are very accurate with keeping their schedule. They leave at the time they say that there leaving, so dont dare to be late. They have a schedule to keep. They prices are reasonable and at times non refundable.

I love the buses. Its nothing like I remember. Now there is WiFi and you can even plug in phone chargers or other items to household power outlets. I was surprisingly comfortable in the seats especially with my bad back. I rode in the front seat though because I didnt want to be near the bathroom.

They are the Best I like Amtrak but Im heading to Athens Georgia and they dont have Amtrak and even though its 29 hours to Georgia.... Ill be warmer and better job prospects

Beautiful buses. Compared to any other line, THIS IS THE ONE TO TAKE, esp if your going a long distance. Leather seats that recline, chargers in almost every row (that WORK), cup holders, lights & fans that all work as well. They stop in PA if your going from Bing to NYC, so get cigs or fast food- They give you a 15 minute break. Keep you updated on times and traffic, and are overall better kept buses, CLEAN, and comfortable. Unlike their competitors and it is the same price (unless your a student its CHEAPER tickets) as all the other lines that are just sub-par.

They claim to offer wifi on board but it doesnt work. When asked to driver, he said he has no idea about WiFi. Bus is good and seats are comfortable. But you cant work if you have important stuff to do on laptop.

Fast service and compared to other bus stations I have seen this one gets an A- all the way around ..

Scary covid ride

My child and I had an extremely long 6hr layover and they saw we had a 3day trip ahead. They went out of their to prevent her from being bored. They even permitted her to choose movies. They did everything they could to assist us on shortening our trip. The cafe was excellent as well.

Very small station, not opened all night, though well lit. Be aware of whats around you though as a homeless man was attacked with a knife and almost killed while sleeping on a bench there (the attacker was caught). There are cheaper and different bus trips that you can purchase INSIDE the terminal THAT THEY ARE UNAWARE OF AT THE PHONE NUMBER LISTED FOR THIS TERMINAL (there is also another number for this terminal, which you can get ONLY by asking for the actual terminal number)!

Ive only taken the bus over 10 years ago so I cant really remember. Plus I was young so I didnt really pay too much attention on the services or anything. Now I just stop in sometimes when Im walking and I need a warm place with WIFI 😁

My return trip on Greyhound was poor. The driver who took over the bus from Buffalo to Syracuse had a very bad attitude and argued with one of the passengers over the use of cell phones. People who provide a service to members of the public for a fee should know that customers deserve to be treated with respect.

Very clean and bright, even the restroom. Lots of seating. Nice lunch counter. Announcements were poor and ticket counter understaffed. Make sure you wait outside for your bus ahead of time.

A bus to get out of here. Sometimes prices good sometimes not. It depends and you have to check out different price choices. Greyhound usually gas free wifi on the buses and they are very comfortable buses. They gave seats that fi back and its really nice to be able to ride them.

Second time Ive tried to take a Greyhound, second time theyve screwed me over. I bought tickets over a month in advance, only to be told when we arrived (well before departure time) that the bus didnt have room for the three of us. Their overbooking would have cost me over $800 in nonrefundable Broadway tickets I saved for months to buy. We were lucky their competitor Short Line Bus/Coach USA was there to take care of us!

Just stopped at bus station on way to other places had to go to. Ate in Elsies dinner there. Good food, reasonable prices.

Easy functionality with the pricing tool, although this method of transit proves more costly than just buying an airline ticket, when you factor in the trip period is only about 25% of the time spetotalnt on a tight bus trip for just about 10% higher airfares. However, I did enjoy the company over many of my cross country rides. Even then, its a crapshoot risking an unsavory seating neighbor.

My Greyhound bus got overbooked. I was falsely told I could get on a later bus by a different compant with the same ticket by an employee. That was false. The only way I found that out was from a passing bus driver, who also informed me that the employee shouldve transferred everyones ticket to said different company. He did not, as he was more concerned with closing up shop and kicking us out to wait 5 hours for a 3 am bus. In short: Greyhound will screw you, and the people who work here will neglect their duties and feed you false information.

Never on time. The absolute worst. You should rent a car instead. Take a boat. Walk. Anything. Besides the MTA in NYC, this is the worst public transit business in America. No clue how people keep giving them money.

The worst bus company to use at binghamton. This is my third and last experience. All the high ratings have to be fake because I have multiple people tell me horrible experiences. The buses are always late. They tend to overbook and then lie to your face that the bus is running late just so you can go away. They don’t take accountability at all. It’s interesting how they charge you to reschedule a time but when it comes to a mistake on their end they’ll just lie and dodge you. I will take my money elsewhere. I recommend others to use ourbus or coach. At least when they overbook they apologize and get another bus up and running with the same departure so there’s no hassle especially if you already scheduled your trip. All in all greyhounds rates are definitely more expensive then the surrounding services and the quality and experience is horrendous. I don’t usually write reviews but when a company disappoints me multiple times and decides to shut the door in my face instead of providing an explanation I have to let others know. DONT USE GREYHOUND!

Greyhound sucks. Buses are always late, highest ticket prices, and rude customer service. I see it hasnt changed over the past couple of years. The older white lady wouldnt give me a ticket refund even though the bus was over an hour late, and gave me an attitude. If youre going to and from NYC, Id suggest Ourbus or Shortline. At least their buses are close to on time. Anywhere else, Id suggest walking is faster.

Bus was 45 minutes late to its scheduled pick up. Driver was unsettling the passengers, mumbling to himself and struggling to turn on the bus. Also barked at my girlfriend for chatting quietly.

I tend to come here a lot when I need WiFi and Im stuck in downtown Binghamton. But other than that, I feel the place should have their diner open longer or have another food place besides just having the vending machines.

Nice seats and free WiFi but should really have a section for people that dont know how to take a shower.

Greyhound is absolutely the worst travel experience you can have in most areas of the country, but I can say New York state is by far the worst. It might as well be owned by Blacks, because almost every bus driver is Black, especially in the cities and the Southern United States.

Used this bus terminal several times in the past year & received good service & can also use their free WiFi while traveling.

If I was able to give Greyhound zero stars I would have. When I was traveling I booked a ticket online, I had already paid for my ticket and the website glitched. There was no trace of my payment or ticket booked. I paid $80 for a ticket that I could never obtain.
