Food is not fresh, the woman who seated us slammed our menus down and greeted us with an attitude and made us feel like we weren’t good enough to be there. Food came out within minutes of ordering and someone with common sense would know it wasn’t fresh if it didn’t take long to come out to us. Both myself and the woman I came in with ended up bagging up our food and throwing it in the trash and the bill was $60 for the two of us. The only pleasant part was our waitress Nicole. She was the only good part besides the cleanliness of the dining area. It to mention when we got there we waited in line and watched the gentleman in front of us have to rehab his own order because they didn’t close his food properly and he spilled food on his clothes. I will never come here again should of went to Olive Garden would of paid the same price with better quality .

We dined-in at Little Venice during the Fall 21 Restaurant Week. During the lunch hour, the 3-course diffuser menu was only $12. We got the meat& cheese logs and the soup of the day as appetisers. That was followed by pasta allá vodka and their eggplant parmigiana. Dessert was two tiny cups of delicious chocolate mousse and tiramisu. If theres one thing that little Venice is known for, its the Red sauce. That beautiful sauce on the eggplant parm and fresh, house-made spaghetti was the highlight of our lunch. The rigatoni with the vodka sauce was a let down, bland but very creamy. The soup was passable but the fried logs were good. The sauce that they served with the logs was delicious, it was a pity we didnt hold on to it when the mains arrived. It a very good restaurant, I wouldnt judge them by the restaurant week options. If you go there, order something with their red sauce (preferably their meatballs or parmigiana options).. End youre meal with the tiny tiramisu and an espresso. And buy a bottle of their sauce on your way out.

The home made pasta was an excellent surprise. Highly recommend the pasta. However, when we arrived we were told we could wait an hour for a table or sit at the bar despite the dining room being half empty. That was a disappointment as this place is known to be a landmark establishment in Binghampton. To our delight, the barman was very friendly & provided excellent service. The waitresses were very cold & ignored us. Skip the formal dining room and sit at the bar. Youll be happier that you did.

Went here based on a co-worker’s recommendation who grew up in the area. When we first entered the restaurant the hostess seemed very friendly. We were asked if we had reservations which seemed a little odd given that they weren’t even at 25% capacity. None the less, we were seated at a table. After about 5 minutes of waiting someone left bread on our table and walked away. Not wanting to eat bread without drinks we patiently waited to be asked our drink order. Another 15 minutes went by and no one ever came by to ask us about drinks. The staff did not seem overwhelmed and there appeared to be plenty of staff, yet none of them seemed to be interested in our table. We finally got the hint after 20 minutes of waiting that, even if our order was taken it was not a good sign of how the rest of our service would be from that point on. Upon exiting the restaurant the host asked us how everything was to which we replied we don’t know because we were never served or asked for our order. We decided to go to Cracker Barrel up the road and we’re seated, given our drinks and food in less time than we waited at Little Venice. Yes, I know Cracker Barrel is not the same food as Italian. However, we had a very pleasant server who acknowledged us from the time we sat down and throughout the entire meal. The locals seem to like this place. Maybe they are treated differently than people passing through.I cannot rate the food as we were never served.

A lot of people recommended this restaurant in Downtown Binghamton so we went for Valentine’s Day. My fiancée ordered shrimp scampi which was very bland. Pasta seems to be made from scratch. I ordered Mama’s chicken cutlet and it was very bad. The breaded chicken tasted like it had been fried in old oil, and the white wine sauce was not appealing at all. I give it two starts because servers were very kind. I don’t think I’ll be back.

Their food is god awful. I ordered pasta alfredo and the alfredo sauce was basically water with clumps of alfredo cheese in it. I then gave them another chance and ordered a hamburger. We always looked so forward to going to Little Venice. Usually for special occasions. We went on this past Sunday with family and friends. originally it was for 4. the number changed after we met our family members there. A couple of long time friends. We had been seated . when we told the hostess the change oh boy ! attitude for sure because she had to move us. after she seated us at the new table She VERY sarcastically said enjoy!! VERY diasappointed, not the little Venice we are used to (oh by the way my in laws are regulars too. THEN it get more disappointing one of our group asked me What you going to get. I told her oh I always get the fried fish it is delicious. Oh thanks so much I didnt see that so she changed her order (the waitress was fine with the change. Then the meal came when I saw the plate with the fish dinner on it could not believe my eyes . Nope not the regular fresh breaded fillets. it was two pieces of what looked to be like the fish you get in a McDonalds sandwich. certainly not at the McDonalds price. it was eatable BUT CERTAINLY NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE and yes even at a higher price :( really disappointed with the experience. We will give Little Venice a rest for some time in hopes they go back to the usual fried fish dinner and hope the hostess can take some happy pillsKen M

Went here for Valentines Day as multiple sites listed this as one of the best restaurants in Binghamton. We were seated at a typical pizzeria style table and were given menus but no water. After sitting with the menu for about 15 mins the waitstaff comes to take our order and lets us know theyre out of everything we wanted to order. Also, their menu is different online and the dinner I had planned on ordering wasnt even on the menu. I would have ordered a bottle of wine but I received no wine list. Actually there was no drink menu at all and had to guess if they served beer or not. After spending $60 on cheese, spaghetti and room temperature soup served in a thimble, my date and I couldnt get out of there fast enough. I dont usually go out of my way to leave bad reviews but for you, Little Venice? No problem. I could have had a more romantic Valentines Day dinner at a White Castle, and the food would have been better too.

We were driving through Binghamton and decided to stop here for dinner based on positive reviews we read. To say that I was impressed with the homemade pasta, sauce, and chicken parm would be the understatement of the century. I have looked far and wide for Italian food that is this good and I honestly feel like this could have been my best Italian meal Ive had in my entire life. I dont say that lightly either; I grew up on Long Island, visited NYC a lot, and felt like Ive had the best there was for Italian food.Put it this way: were going to be driving through Binghamton again tomorrow on our way home and I am already thinking about what Ill be ordering tomorrow. The sauce is sweat, rich in flavor, and absolutely delicious. Their in-house meatlogs are just log shaped meatballs that are cooked evenly, tender and are flavorful. Their chicken parm is tender, breaded perfectly, and swimming in their delicious in-house sauce. And enough cant be said for their homemade pasta, which is unmatched. The prices are extremely reasonable (I dare say a bit low, considering that a dinner portion of chicken parm is at least $8 less than I would expect to pay elsewhere), and our family of 4 had more than enough food to eat including dessert for ~$80. THATS a steal!

Not horribly impressed. My wife received multiple recomendations for this place from friends and coworkers so we decided to give it a try. It may be a case of some things they do well and others not so well. Weve bought their red sauce before and enjoyed it so we gave it a shot. I ordered the Alfredo with chicken and was disappointed. The sauce seemed to have already started to separate on arrival and the chicken was tough, the breading also slid right off the chicken and was soggy. My wife had the chicken and was also less than impressed, neither of us finished. We decided to order desert being less than satisfied with the meal. I ordered the cheesecake and she got the tiramisu. I wasnt fond of the cheesecake but it was more of a tart cheesecake and may have been better with the fruit compote and I think its just my preference and other may really enjoy it. My wife however said their tiramisu was on point. All the recommendations we got spoke of the chicken parm or lasagna so maybe if we had ordered one of those our experience would have been better. That being said the bill for our meal was definitely higher than our meals warranted. We will likely give them another chance because of the glowing recommendations we received and next time try something with red sauce. If so I will try to remember to update this review.Update:The morning after our visit I started experiencing horrible abdominal cramping and digestive issues. At this point, Ive been tied to the bathroom for 4hrs and miserable. I plan to avoid this place like the plague going forward.
