I had a good experience here. Ive only been here one time, but they absolutely fixed everything that was necessary and helped me pass my inspection. They even gave me a discount when asked. It was very helpful as I was tight on cash. Always ask for a discount at shops fyi!! Couldnt do the work myself as it had to be towed among other factors. It seems they marked up the price on certain parts, but it is to be expected. They have to profit off the time and effort put in to acquiring the parts so please keep that in mind. 100% will recommend them. I had a 2009 mazda 6.

Y’all, auto mechanics get a bad stereotype for shafting the unwitting customer. Not Rays. I swear to any god you choose, Rays is legit. I came in due to a funky noise, and they literally took this rusted part out and showed me where the wear and tear was, gave me price options, and a very accurate repair time. I’ve had them replace lights, brakes, fix cosmetic damage, and just... like, if my car looks/sounds/acts squirrelly, I take it to Ray’s. They always tell me if they spot something else while they’re working, too, and that’s fab.To boot, they’re always hella friendly and always willing to work with me.Great garage, 100% recommended always forever.

Brought my car in for a starter. They removed my cabin air filter without asking me to. When I told them I didnt want an air filter, they refused to put the old one back in. The guy behind the counter threw my old filter away and said the debris can blow all over my car if I dont buy a new filter.

My Minivan broke down at 11pm on our way home and we were stuck 130 miles from home with my husband, 16 year old son and 13 year old special needs son. Ray’s Auto was able to get our van in first thing the following morning and get us back on the road. Greg was fantastic and I would highly recommend Ray’s Auto any day of the week. Ray, is the owner, and he makes time for your needs and safety, and his crew are hardworker, and very helpful and rays services are affordable. Hes my number 1 mechanic shop, and he has good vehicles for sale, also. Either way his goal is to keep you safe, riding and all at an affordable price.

Ray’s has been amazing! They saved us a ton making recommendations for what to fix now, what has some more life left in it, and sometimes performing repairs instead of always just replacing parts! Additionally, we broke down while out of town and Ray took the time to make sure we were safe and talk us through the situation including helping us get to a mechanic and back on the road ASAP. We could not be more pleased with the service we have received so far! Referred by a friend and we will definitely be making referrals ourselves!

I am eternally grateful to the fine gentleman at Ray’s Auto. My car broke down on the highway and they towed me to safety in no time at all. They then fixed my car first thing in the morning so I could be on my way. They are great guys running a great auto place. I highly recommend ditching any of the commercial auto shops out there and going strictly to this trustworthy place. You will quickly see a difference.

Always top quality dependable service. The one time they could not solve my problem they did not charge me for the work they did and sent me to a specialty shop for further assistance. It turns out they did their job and did it well...the NEW part they installed was defective and that is why the problem persisted. I was deeply impressed that they charged me nothing for the attempted repair as they did not correct the problem. That is honesty and ethical values I appreciate.

Stayed over night in Binghamton on my drive to NYC. Noticed my car may have been leaking oil so I got referred to Rays. He put my car up right away and inspected it to make sure I can continue my drive. He was fast, precise, fair and honest. Did not take a penny after being offered multiple times. God bless him and his shop! If ever in that area and need something go to him!

While In town from out of state N.C. for a family reunion with our whole family, myself, wife 4 kids and a baby, leaving the Hyatt we had a loud rattling noise coming from the front side of our vehicle. My wife spotted Rays form parking deck so we drove next door went it spoke to the owner Ray.The gentleman was gracious enough to come out on the spot and help check out the situation for us, although it turned out to be nothing major it gave us the piece of mind for us to drive back 10 hours to NC safely. Also Ray refused to take any money i offered, that shows a mans true character right there helping out a complete strangers in a situation where we could have easily been taken advantage of God Bless you Ray.

Towed my car when I went into CVS to pick up my prescription. I was in the store for like 30 minutes waiting on my prescription to be filled. Wouldnt give me my car back until I paid a couple hundred dollars, despite my dash-cam footage.

I go here for all my needs they are honest upfront and can always get you in in a timely manner and very reasonable on price

Been coming here for 10 years and after dealing with these scumbags in the CVS parking lot they lost my business and 3 other peoples business that have routinely been customers and had their vehicles serviced at Rays. Also number of friends choose to shop at other locations rather than CVS as well.

In my experience if you need towing and/or repairs you will be taken care of promptly and honestly.

Very nice folks, and the got my job done very quickly and on short notice. My only gripe would be that when I asked about the price ahead of time they neglected to mention an additional charge for a service that, while not absolutely required, is basically necessary and all-but-ubiquitous.

I had a blowout on my trailer on a Saturday. Called Rays and not only did he come right out, he was over the top helpful. I would not hesitate to call Rays if I need a tow in the future!

Rays Auto came recommended by a local business when I broke down on the highway and landed in their parking lot as I coasted through Binghamton.I am from out of the Binghamton area. Though Rays has not fixed my car yet, I spent 15 minutes on the phone with Greg and can tell you that my sense is these guys are as fair & honest as anyone could be.Cant wait to see the results of the fix on my broken down jalopy.

This place is A Thieving Joke!!! If you go to the Hockey stadium be careful where you park your car. It is likely they will take it, even if you only just parked it to go into a store. My advice, dont park near CVS parking lot, they will take all vehicles with no proof of fowl play. and CVS wont help you either!! Money hungry and ruthless.

Long story short. My motorcycle broke down, he used his rollback to get it in my friends truck and gave me tie down straps and wouldnt take any money for his services or even the straps !!
