I took my car in for service. I was greeted by a nice young man at the b door who took my keys and verified my appointment. I proceeded to a comfortable waiting area with several nice seats and a television. There was a short wait time while my car was being looked at and then a polite young lady came over and told me I was ready. I proceeded to the counter to pay my bill . A smiling friendly emoyee waited on me. I was happy with the experience and will return again in the future.

I took my vehicle there to have airbag recall done and I had them check my brakes while there because brake service light was coming on. They told me I needed almost $1200 worth of brake work. I am 70, on social security. I had my brakes checked by someone else who was recommended by several people. I did not need brakes. There was nothing wrong with them. They reset my brake warning system and did not charge me a penny. Ray Brandt charged me $156. just for looking at it. They rip people off. Especially female senior citizens. I am waiting for them to refund my $.

Just purchased my 2021 Cadillac Escalade from another dealership and I had some issues. I wasn’t getting it resolved where I purchased the vehicle so I decided to bring it to Ray Brandt Chevrolet. They not only validated my issues but order the parts and escalated the repair with their body shop. Talk about going above and beyond for the customer. It’s here folks. What an amazing experience. July 5th, 2021. My family and I had a small family emergency across the street at the Loves truck stop. The door lock mechanism somehow locked the doors upon exiting while the engine was running. We started to panic but my wife realized there just happened to be a Chevrolet dealer right across the street.I was greeted at the door by a salesman and again by the receptionist. I was eventually set at ease by the sales manager, Roger, who helped us unlock my truck and get us on our way. Kudos to you, Roger. You saved us and I cant thank you enough!

Wasnt kept informed of progress on vehicle (new engine), on hold forever waiting to speak to service personnel. One call back didnt tell me anything I didnt already know but felt like she wanted kudos for a call that was a waste of my time... Parts were late & sounds like only one over-worked mechanic was on duty the whole time it took to get vehicle fixed. What was predicted to take 1 week ended up taking 10 extra days.

Truck is a good ride, gets good mileage,and everything works. It does not have sufficient amenities (cup holders when a 3rd person is in front seat, nor in rear seat, electronic ports in rear seat are absent).My sales person was knowledgeable and easy to understand.Michael Melancon

I do not typically give out bad reviews, as I know how important they are to run a successful business, but this one is deserved. I am incredibly disappointed in this dealership. My local dealer worked hard to secure a vehicle trade with Ray Brandt Chevy. My dealer had an employee drive almost 200 miles (halfway) to the dealership, just for Ray Brandt Chevy to call and tell them they sold the truck out from under us. Super disappointed in this business practice. When searching hard for a similar vehicle and not finding one, I noticed that GM actually shows this vehicle at our dealerships location, which it isnt. I feel like Ray Brandt Chevy did not do what was right for the customer or a fellow dealership. I was shocked to hear of this. I think honoring a deal is important and if that is a quality that is important to you, I would avoid this dealership.

$30 charge for the tech failing to duplicate the knocking nose my car is making. Hop in the car at pickup and its making the noise before I even turn the car on. Going to bring it to a different dealership since the car is still constantly making the noise when at idle and the break isnt engaged.

Had an excellent salesperson, Randy, who did everything possible to help us find the car we wanted. Very satisfied with the deal except for one matter. We were told that one of the cars we were interested in was a loaner car. That didnt bother me, I figured it only had a few miles on it and that it would be in perfect condition. Well the condition was perfect, not a thing wrong with it, however when we got ready to sign the paperwork we were told that it had 1995 miles on it and that it had been in use since November 2. That me4an that 3 months of our warranty was already gone before we took possession. The next day when we picked it up we found that only 67% of its oil usage remained and that the actual mileage was just over 2400 miles, which also consumed a fair part of out warranty coverage. So the new car we drove off the lot was actually somewhat used and our warranties had already had been partially consumed. I really think that considering these factors that our best deal wasnt necessarily as good as it should have been and only hope that Randy wasnt aware of the amount of use the car had. As far as performance, the car does exactly what its supposed to do so I look forward to several years of reliable service.

The requested appointment was made very promptly and at time I asked for . Ms Tammy Ray,, Assistant Service Mgr took the time to listen to my concerns with the 2019 Chevrolet Impala. During the servicing, technicians identified 2 added air filters where replacement was warranted. The section for customers to wait for vehicles was clean, and quiet, and allowed me to use the time to do some work. Vehicle was returned at convenient time. I would not patronize any other service center, except for the one here at RAY BRANDT CHEVROLET DEALERSHIP.

Difficult to reach someone with information, kept playing phone-tag with the device advisor. He kept leaving messages with no specific information other than to call for information. By the time he told me what they thought the issue was, the price, and when the part would arrive it would have been 7 days without my vehicle not to mention the time to actually repair it. I got this information the fourth day if them having my vehicle after their cashier closed meaning I had to wait another day to get my vehicle when their cashier opened. I had to take time off from work to pay for their incorrect diagnoses and to another auto mechanic.

If I could give no stars I would. This was the worst experience I have ever had trying to purchase a vehicle. My wife and I drove over 3 1/2 hours through a thunderstorm to reach this dealership in Biloxi Mississippi. I had a appointment Saturday at 1:00 pm. I even messaged the dealer to let them know we were coming to confirm our appointment. I was also told that if someone was about to purchase a vehicle or if anything changed they would notify me to save us a trip. They would not let us put a deposit down. As we get out of our vehicle we see the vehicle pulling out of the dealership parking lot with smoke coming off the back tires doing a burnout. Found out the customer had started the deal at 10:15 that morning from another salesman. Our salesman knew the vehicle was selling his excuse was do you know how many appointments don’t show up! I sold cars for six years this is the worst excuse I’ve ever heard. They may have good reviews but this is sorry customer service. No compensation was offered except for a couple hundred dollar discount on a old age car that looked wore out and was 9k more then the car we came for. I even have the messages from where he said he would notify me if anything changed before we got there. I also circled them and sent the screen shots back to them. Not one person has reached out to us or apologized. This is why car dealers have such a bad name. Instead of just trying to hold gross. Why not help your customer. I had so many salesmen of the month plaques hanging on my wall. I’ve been in sales for over 15 years. No problem with a previous customer should set the standard for your customer service. Randy we found a car drove another 4 hours but car was there like we were told. It was over priced and I paid it happily and gave our sales lady a very nice tip. Follow thru randy follow through.

Went in for a break job inspection.... was told the breaks had to be ordered and would be in the very next day. Left my vehicle over night and before noon time I received a call stating my car was completed. Speedy yet professional service . I just wish my old salesman was still there Mr Wayne Barrington. The team had my tire changed a day earlier than they projected but the tire look like it driven down a dirt road for a week. I was happy overall with the service and availability of an appointment however I was a little disappointed that the appointment had been made for over a week and when I got there they did not have an old filter for my car which was a Buick and I understand that’s a Chevy dealership but I would’ve thought they would’ve checked to make sure they had an oil filter it turned out that an oil change and a tire rotation was two hour and 10 minutes

A light came on in my car and after scanning the code it was determined my car did have a problem that needed to be fixed. I couldn’t get it fixed that day because I didn’t have time, but from the moment I called back to schedule a service appointment I was thoroughly impressed with the friendliness and speed of the employees. Everyone I spoke to was kind and helpful, but Tammy in the service department stood out the most. I didn’t know much about the problem with my car so she took time to explain it to me and figure out a time that worked with my hectic schedule. They serviced my car and got it back to me in a timely manner. When I picked my car up I had another question about it and Tammy even walked out to my car with me just to make sure I was satisfied with the condition of my car. These people saved us! We were on a girls trip from out of town. Around 3pm the day before we were supposed to leave our car started making a noise and wasn’t accelerating properly. I had a feeling I knew what was wrong (transmission) and new we needed to get it repaired before we headed home. I called several mechanics and dealerships and no one was going to be able to see us until Monday! A couple of the girls are nurses and just could not miss work, so waiting through the weekend for a diagnostic was not going to work for us. Ray Brandt Chevrolet came through for us!!Shout out to the service manager: Walt who was such a gem, stayed later than he was supposed to, and made sure that we were taken care of. Big thanks to the tech Brandon who came in on his day off to fix the issue. And big thanks to Tammy who is clearly running the place and getting everyone in gear for us ;) everyone was awesome and blessed us with quick service! Oh and on top of fixing the issue at hand without even mentioning it- they took care of a recall on the brakes that we hadn’t fixed yet! So thankful!

What a nightmare!!! 🤬🤬🤬My family is a military family. We have two sons, a 2 year old and a 2 week old. We had been looking around for another vehicle to fit our growing family for months. Saturday afternoon we saw a truck that we loved, I was still recovering from my C-Section, but time was running out to get a second vehicle before I had to return to work. A dealer came out offering to let us take a test drive. We told him we would be back in a couple of hours, because our 2 year old son had an appointment in 30 minutes. We came back immediately after the appointment. My husband asked to speak to the same dealer and took the truck for a test drive. We decided we wanted it, but unfortunately the banks were all closed - the manager even came to talk to us and said “Trust me we want to get y’all in this truck!” We told them we would be going to the bank Monday. Monday comes and I get my mother to leave work early to watch our 2 year old and newborn so I can take out the auto loan. My husband calls the dealership that morning to let them know we are still interested and I’m headed to the bank right now. The guy tells him “Okay, let me know as soon as you get approved so we can start detailing it for you.” Things at the bank take a while due to COVID-19 social distancing requirements. I had to wait in line for about 2 hours, all the while I am obviously unable to breastfeed and it’s causing me incredible pain by the time it’s my turn. I get approved for the loan and tell my husband to go call the dealer back and get the truck ready. My husband calls over and over again for a couple hours and no one answers. He called the dealer and the dealership repeatedly - no one can talk to him. I get the check and start heading to the dealership and my husband takes off work early to meet me there. On the way there he makes another attempt to call the dealer who FINALLY answers and admits that Saturday while we were at our sons appointment someone else came by and said they would buy the truck and was bringing them the money Monday and they had just brought them the money and were about to drive off with the truck.NOT ONE PERSON TOLD US SOMEONE ELSE HAD ALREADY AGREED TO BUY THE TRUCK AND WAS ALSO BRINGING THEM THE MONEY MONDAY. Not the dealer we were working with, not the manager, no one said a damn thing. Even when my husband had called the dealer Monday morning to confirm we were still interested and I was headed to the bank to get them a check. Not only that but then when my husband was constantly trying to contact them to let them know I got approved and was about to leave the bank with the check - the dealership mysteriously had no one that could answer the phone for a couple hours.I 100% understand that this is a first come first serve industry, but they had no business promising two different people that truck without letting the customers know. Basically it was either my family or the other buyer that was going to get screwed over and whoever got to the dealership first with their check was going to leave with the truck.If another customer had agreed to show up today with the money and was ready to leave with the truck the dealership should have felt the obligation to let us know. Now I’m sitting here with a massive check for a truck, and the option to either hurry and take it back to the bank and cancel my auto loan THAT HAS ALREADY HIT MY CREDIT SCORE or I have a small amount of time to find another truck that fits my family’s needs at a different dealership, take the check back to the bank, get the bank to change the dealership and print out a new check, and go buy a different truck.I will never forget the inconsiderate, deceitful, and terrible service I received here. I will be sure to tell my story to everyone I know as well, because no one deserves to be treated this way.

I could not give Ray Brandt Chevrolet on Cedar Lake 5 stars because the dealership will NOT allow you to leave the dealership with the vehicle that you paid for in cash, without contacting your insurance company and securing insurance. This is NOT a state law. Ive never heard if a dealership having this policy.

(Issue fixed) wish I could give 0 stars. Like the other reviews state the service department is horrible. Took my vehicle in for service and a brake job. $1200 dollars later I get my vehicle back in worst shape than before I brought it in. Took the vehicle back three times to try and get the issues corrected only to receive temporary fixes. Save your time, money and headache and take your vehicle to a reputable shop. I should have read their reviews first.Edit- After posting this review and talking with the service manager Walt we were able to get everything fixed on my vehicle. He took the time to listen to my concern and actually resolve the issue. 5 stars for Walt.
