They have a nice facility and the sales staff friendly enough. They probably perform new installations properly. Unfortunately, we had a number of windows replaced by WinDor and they did not install them correctly. The windows were installed directly onto the wood sheathing without any flashing. Flashing is required to make a weathertight seal and also required by code. The owner informed me they would not repair or fix to meet code because the wood siding is waterproof enough and hes done it that way for years without complaints. Anybody doing window replacements should look into how this is done properly and you will understand why you do not rely on wood siding or shingles to be waterproof, thats why there are waterproof membranes (house wrap) on the market! Anyway, very disappointed that the owner would take such a stance on very basic and well accepted window installation techniques. I now have to fix all of the installations myself because on very windy days we now have air leaks around those brand new windows and over time the moisture entering will be a problem. The first picture shows the finished installation and the second what I found under the wood siding/trim. Wood trim was covering the problem.

My bathroom window was leaking water on the inside (significantly). I called for a service call to fix or replace the window. I was told they could put me on the list for the next time they would be in my area to come give me an estimate. I live in Joliet, not Wyoming. Its 28 miles from Billings??? I asked when that would be, and the lady did not know. Its winter and my window has water pouring in? I was not impressed with the level of concern or lack of. I was happy to pay for a service call because of distance, but apparently that was not an option.

The team came and replaced the windows for the entire home in 2 1/2 days. This was good after seeing how hard it is. Upon leaving they had not done anything to put back the window treatments curtains and shades with the promise that in 2 to 3 days a part would come and they would complete the job.Well that was 10 days ago and they have not returned or made an appointment to finish the job.So what grade do they deserve when 90% of the job was done will only to fumble the last 10%?

In 2014, we had an estimate for our windows and circumstances caused us to abandon the project. This year, we began again and contacted Win-dor who were very kind about updating our estimate. When I expressed concern over their bad review here on Google, the owners themselves came to my house to explain and make sure I could feel confident in their business! I have yet to get work done by them but wanted to ad this balanced against the negative. Hope your experience is a good one!!

It turned out that the reason I liked this place was only due to a couple of the people I worked with and they have moved on. When I went back to buy a part for something that would go on some of the thousands of dollars worth of doors I bought from them for our home, they tried to charge me a $25 minimum order surcharge. This is so wrong on so many levels. I bought the same part at a lumber yard for 15% less, no surcharge and free shipping. I now see why there are so many bad reviews.

Worst contractor experience ever.Salesman (Paul) came out in May to provide a quote for window screens, Andersen door issues, crank handles etc.Took 2 months to get a quote. Received quote and told him to proceed. He told me I had to wait for him to process a sales order to take 1/2 down. Took another MONTH to get that. Put deposit down. He said 2 months for install. 2 months later I called and he said they had no labor force to do install, and half of the things he quoted they didn’t have, or couldn’t get.Spoke with owner, they refunded my deposit.I ordered parts they said I needed direct from Andersen, had a locksmith come out and it turns out I didn’t need what parts they said I did.Complete incompetence all the way around.Don’t waste your time or money with this business.They can’t deliver on what they promise in any capacity.

Call today to place an order for 530 windows and I was told by the owner apparently that they’re not interested in selling windows to Portland Oregon area. As a businessman for 20 years and running a 10 million Dollar your company this is the worst window manufacture and customer service company in the entire country. Toby is a racist and a horrible human being worst company ever!They just lost $200,000 order.
