Used to love this place, was a loyal customer, and recommended everyone I knew to come here, men and women alike.Unfortunately their policy’s don’t allow for single parents to receive services. I understand if my child was a toddler, but not allowing a teenager to sit in the lobby and wait is ridiculous.I will not be returning. This day in age there are more single parents than ever before, hell even the state law allows teenage children to be left home alone, but he can’t sit in the lobby 🙄

I go to Mikayla every 3 weeks for the best eye brow wax and tint I have ever had. She’s always on time, professional, out going and welcoming. I feel leaving fresh and my best self every time. 5 stars isn’t enough. If you need your eyebrows done go to Mikayla.

Look at sparrow & selene’s 1 star reviews for example. There is a pattern. The owner is “never” wrong is her attitude, which is unfortunate when you are a struggling business owner. I was 2 minutes late for my appointment and she greeted me with passive aggressiveness from the moment I arrived. I asked her if I should just leave since she was treating me so poorly and she said yes, which I was happy to do. Who needs this treatment when you are going to get pretty and pampered?! No one was in the store, they weren’t busy. They have zero tolerance for other peoples busy lives and they’ll tell you it’s about respecting their professional schedules and that maybe we should go to a more flexible salon. Obviously no one ever intends to be late. It would be great if they could show some grace. All of us are busy! Appreciate your clients, not scold them.

From start to finish I had a great experience. Devin, the receptionist is kind and welcoming. Chelsea was amazing. I never felt awkward. She knows what shes doing. I would say this would be a great place to experience a first time wax. Im an old timer, so I know what Im talking about here. Brazilian, underarms, and nose... Im ready to go! And may I add... I can not emphasis on how important it is to only receive services from a clean, sanitary wax center. Super clean...

I’ll be avoiding(as well as urging other too as well) any business supported by Amanda Taylor.Terrible attitude.It’s “her way or the highway”, I mean I’ve seen calmer temper tantrums from toddlers🤦🏻‍♂️You can see by their responses to other negative reviews, there’s a trend with how they deal with customer retention.Edit:Sounds like you need to have a talk with her.According to her, she was absolutely representing your company at the time.It’s completely biased based on the experience I had with her while she was “representing” Strip salon.Regardless if she was official or not.The review stays, as long as, she is in anyway connected to the company.(Including having her do your advertising on fb pages, such as the classifieds. Which yes, she’s still currently doing)

I want to start off by saying that I give Mikayla 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. She did an absolutely beautiful job shaping my eyebrows-Thank you. The reason I gave this 1 star is because the tint the business uses lasted until I washed my face-very disappointing. I recommend buying a good bottle of wine or several cups of good coffee and skip the tint. Highly recommend Mikayla though!Update on Review: owner called and refunded charge for service which was wonderful. She stated that the gratuity could not be refunded which is perfectly fine with me and I wouldnt have wanted her to because Mikayla deserved the gratuity 🙂

I went for an eyebrow wax yesterday and the tech completely butchered and waxed off practically half of my left eyebrow. I’m literally traumatized because I’ve always had nicely shaped full brows and now they are completely gone. Anyway, only leaving this review to help the next poor soul who walks in there for an eyebrow wax. 0/10 wouldn’t recommend.

Molly went above and beyond in providing me with my wax services, offering many helpful tips and tricks, and answering all of my questions. I would recommend Strip Wax Salon to anyone seeking professional esthetician services.

I was so excited when i heard that Billings finally had a waving place, and my first visit did not disappoint! Got my eyebrows done, and they look great. Also the after care they use prevented the bumps I usually get. The salon itself is gorgeous, and the ladies are super nice. Definitely going back.

Everyone here is great! Ive had a bad wax experience in the past and had some questions. I messaged on FB and the owner was such a sweetheart to answer all my questions! She even did her own research and gave me some info. When I decided to give it another shot she was able to squeeze me in when they were booked already. I felt welcomed from the moment I walked in. Molly (I think) did my leg wax and was really nice and made me feel at ease with the waxing. It was really a great experience and Ill be back for sure.

What a nice inviting place to get all your waxing needs done. I went in as a walk in and got taken back quickly. The girls were very friendly and informative. I would highly recommend STRIP. The location is also a plus.

As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile and the young lady at the register was welcoming. The young lady that waxed my eyebrows was also very nice but I was disappointed with my service because I saw so many good reviews. I’m really picky about my brows and I’m sad they weren’t even related by the time we were done. I’m also sore from her putting really hot wax on my right side a few times to get my very tiny hairs.

I had my first professional wax about a month ago and it was amazing. I used to be cheap and tried to wax my own legs and armpits. What a disaster that was but I was prepared for intense pain like when I would do it. When you use high quality wax and have a professional using it, the process is actually pretty painless. I walked in like Chewbacca and left smooth like a baby’s bottom.My leg hairs have even grew back less thick. I could walk around now (even a month post wax) and no one would notice my leg hairs unless in direct sun. Before, I couldn’t walk around unshaven because my hair was so course and dark. Thank you ladies! I will be back!

I was a walk-in at STRIP and was immediately impressed; the decor is modern and everything so clean. And wow! The staff is professional and made me feel at ease. It is convenient to have a place solely dedicated to waxing, I will definitely be a return customer.

I was very anxious about getting my brows waxed due to being burned multiple times before, but Molly did an incredible job of explaining about how the low temp wax they use in incapable of causing burns etc. She also used oils to lessen the sensitivity of my skin. My brows turned out exactly how I wanted them. Great clean and friendly atmosphere, highly recommend!

I cannot RAVE enough about STRIP!! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the lovely Sarah. She knew that it was my first time in so she got me some paperwork to fill out, and told me that Molly would be with me shortly. During my wax, Molly was AMAZING! She made me feel 100% comfortable, and talked to me about this amazing body exfoliator that they have. On my way out, I stopped and chatted with Sarah again, and she got me all set up on a monthly membership. I did end up purchasing the body wash exfoliator that comes with the cool gloves, and I have to say that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! I HIGHLY recommend STRIP!!

My appointment started off well bc eeryone was super nice, the salon was clean and the atmosphere was welcoming. My esthetician was very polite, professional and seemed to know what she was doing. When she waxed my right underarm, I noticed it hurt more than normal. When I got home, I noticed it was VERY red. It seems as if the redness was a result of a slight burn from the hot wax or as if the wax peeled off too much skin. Ive had my underarms waxed for over 15 years and this has never happened. Now my underarm has a dark brown spot the length of the wax spread and whats worse is that it looks hairy from far away... like I didnt get waxed at all! I truly hope this discoloration will disappear but its been 2 weeks and theres been no change yet.

Last winter I made and appointment and lived in the heights at the time. It was snowing that afternoon and I arrived 5 minutes late, they asked me to reschedule because of this. I was so frustrated because I had drove across town and didnt think they would be this strict over an eyebrow wax. Wont ever go back or recommend.
