My son was able to secure a college scholarship that amounted to over $65k by increasing his ACT score. My son always had great grades, but his initial test score was average. Huntingtons strategies and methods helped him increase his score from 24 to 33. It was well worth the time and investment.

Our daughter received a 21 on her initial ACT and she needed a higher score for her college choices. With only 34 hours of Huntington Tutors, she was able to jump to a 27 with a 28 super score. My granddaughter Anna has been attending Huntington Learning Center since the summer of 2014 and I have been extremely pleased with the results.From the very beginning starting with the testing and all though her time there they have been very professional with a loving touch They have taken her into their hearts as if Anna was family.Anna’s classes are often been modified to fit her needs as they change. They have met with both her parents and the staff at her school as necessary to insure her continual growthMy granddaughter has a learning disability. Because of this they are teaching her strategies and coping skills that she will use though out her entire life.The results from all of this have been spectacular. Not only have Anna’s grades improved dramatically but her confidence and over all attitude has improved. She is a wonderful but sensitive child resulting in nervous stomach aches at the beginning of her school days. Those have disappeared so her attendance has also improved.I want to thank the staff, tutors and especially Jen for all their hard work and dedication.I feel that Anna’s future is a great deal brighter because of her attendance at Huntington and I know that she will use Huntington as necessary to ensure her continued success

We had our daughter participate in Huntingtons ACT prep program this summer. She just received her scores and was able to increase her composite score from a 21 to a 30. The strategies and information they covered made a huge difference. It has increased her eligibility for scholarships and was therefore well worth the cost. The staff is skilled and are continually evaluating your childs progress in order to modify and personalize their program. I would recommend Huntington Learning Center to anyone who feels their child needs help in advancing their knowledge or test taking skills.

I would recommend Huntington for all students, not just those struggling with grades. Our son is an honor roll student at Senior High and he is enrolled in all honors and AP classes. Last summer we signed him up for the ACT prep class and couldnt be happier with the scores he received! We knew he would be well, but with Huntingtons preparation he did amazing!

As a returning customer to Huntington Learning Center, we truly believe in the benefits of a specialized ACT prep program. Once our son decided that he wanted to go into a college engineering program we knew of the importance a solid math ACT score, would be . (It would determine which college he would attend, how quickly he could start engineering coursework etc.) So we enrolled him in the ACT prep class, Jenn and the staff evaluated his current skills, pin pointing where hed need extra practice. Everyone was great to work with! They made sure he was paired with the appropriate fitting tutor, whenever he had questions he was always comfortable asking, and when conferencing was needed Jenn worked hard to accommodate and make things convenient! The end result was our son scoring 7 points above his original ACT score!!! With such a positive outcome, we chose the same path for our daughter. She recently finished up the program that was designed for her needs and we are looking forward to seeing a similar outcome with her ACT scores!

My daughter had a great GPA and we really were excited about applying for colleges expecting scholarships. We went to Huntington to see about ACT prep to help with the scholarships. We were shocked to learn that her starting ACT score was a 22. She needed a 28 to open the doors for her #1 choice. Reading was her weakest area which really raised our concerns for college level reading. After completing her program with Huntington. Jill got a 28! He 22 in reading went up to a 31! I brought my daughter to Huntington because she was really struggling with the transition to high school. She was forgetting to do assignments, not handing in assignments that she had done, not studying for tests, and she was completely overwhelmed. At Huntington, they created a plan to help her with study skills and how to keep track of everything going on. She finished the year strong and has been working through the summer. Now shes confident and ready to start the year on a high note.

I am from Africa and came to the United States in 2010. I started knowing no English, just French, and I had troubles finding a job. I was also diagnosed with a learning disability. Every job place asked for a high school diploma. Huntington learning center helped me pass my hiset by getting me test accommodations and tutoring me. My teacher, Audra, also helped me pass my citizenship test by helping me study. I tried other places that didnt work, and I couldnt have done it with out them. I recommend Huntington Learning Center to everyone.

Everything Huntington did for me was absolutely amazing. Jen is exceptional and helps with anything I need. They are attentive, respectful, and patient while students are learning new skills. Personally, I do not know why anyone would go anywhere else!

As one of the teachers at Huntington, Ive been fortunate in witnessing many positive results from students at the center. From reading comprehension, to math concepts, to study skills, or to the ACT/ SAT prep, the Huntington program works! Recently, I asked one of my students if the reading strategies that wed been using were helpful for him in his high school classes. Was he making a connection from the Huntington strategies to his studies at school? He gave me a resounding, Yes! Furthermore, he stated that he was able to read and pick out main ideas more quickly and accurately. He said, Its made a huge difference for me! Its not an unusual scenario, but its gratifying every time I hear similar stories! Each student matters at Huntington, and teachers work hard to get results!

My son started Huntington in the 5th grade due to difficulties in math and with organizational skills. He was not failing any classes, but school just seemed more difficult for him than I thought it should be. However, Huntington discovered was that there were underlying issues in reading that were contributing to the his math problems. What Huntington has done for him goes far beyond basic skills, they have given him the confidence that he can accomplish whatever he puts his mind to. The staff are incredible and always willing to give you the assistance that you need. Even through the summer, my son has continued to use their services and I look forward to starting this year on the right foot!

The HLC helped two of my children that were falling through the cracks at school and being told they just needed to be held back but after 2 months of HLC they are on track and improved so much from the one on one and all the help those women gave them!!!! I would definitely take them back again!!!
