What a fantastic vacation! I dont know where to start or end with my comments on how wonderful it was. My husband and I (in our 40s) and my son and fiancé (in their 20s) went on the Grand Teton and Yellowstone adventure. From the moment they picked us up from the hotel to the moment we said our final goodbyes, Jeremy, Liza, and Kaylee took great care of us. They took time to share their knowledge about the area, were always concerned with us having a good experience with every activity, and had great attitudes the entire time. And the food - my goodness - it was fresh and the variety was plentiful. While my family jumped all in for all activities, they accommodated the need to not continue on a bike ride or sit out a hike. The bike rides, hikes, kayaking, white water rafting, and tram rides were all exceptionally planned. We even went to the rodeo in Cody Wyoming! My husband and I dont spend a lot of money on vacations...we are more of a long weekend type of couple. However, we will POSITIVELY do another trip with Austin Adventures. It was worth every penny!

Ive been on several Austin Adventures tours in North America and Europe and can highly recommend traveling with them. They have some of the best guides in the business, and always a great mix of activities, culture, and meeting other fun guests from around the world. My favorite trips were Austria, Croatia, Holland, and the San Juan islands.

Amazing Costa Rica trip! Austin Adventures put together a fantastic one week vacation for us. Our guide Sterling, was super knowledgeable, he stopped our van numerous times so we could take pictures of the monkeys and iguanas in trees right above us and gave us so much information about the birds and other wildlife that live there.The lodging was truly 5 star on the trip and included gorgeous views of the Arenal Volcano from our back porch in one resort and involved flying in via small plane to the next one which was in the middle of breathtaking mountains and rainforest.Don’t miss the awesome zip line adventure (over waterfalls) and visit to an Organic farm, visiting many of the local businesses, excellent food and an amazing bird and wildlife sanctuary!This was all together one of the very top trips organized for us by a company, that we’ve ever taken. We will be traveling again with amazing Austin Adventures!

This company is by far the best ever. I would not even dream of going with another. They look after every detail (even the details you dont think about), from start to finish and go above and beyond your highest expectations. I have done 6 tours with them and each one has been exceptional. They treat you like family. As for their tours, they are thoroughly planned out, and very reasonable in price; accommodations are unbelievable. Their guides are awesome, knowledgeable and so giving of their time to ensure you enjoy yourself. I am always made to feel quite special. See for yourself!

Austin Adventures vacations are first rate from beginning to end. If you appreciate having every detail planned out for you at some of the most beautiful places on earth, amazing guides, outstanding hotels and restaurants, and memories to last a lifetime, then AA is the tour company to book your next trip. It doesnt surprise me that our other guests on the trip had been on several AA trips already and continue to book new ones. We went to the San Juan Islands, and this year I will be going to the Azores. I am already looking at what trip I want to book for next year. You can be assured that your money is very well spent and you definitely will not be disappointed. .

My husband and I have traveled three times with Austin Adventures--bike trips in Tuscany, the Netherlands, and the Loire Valley. The accommodations and the food are always excellent. But for Austin, that is just the starting point. Their attention to detail and their service is what keeps us coming back. They find interesting, out-of-the-way places to take you (an Italian grandmother cooking just for you in the back of the small village store that she runs), and the staff will do just about anything to make your trip special (including finding a bag of rice in which to put your digital camera after you drop it into an irrigation canal in a tulip field!). Austin truly cares about making this your best vacation. Finally, they are family run and very caring. Our travelling companions had health issues before our last trip and Dan Austin and his team could not have been more accommodating and helpful. This is what you get when you use an owner-run adventure company. Highly recommend Austin!

We had a great Yellowstone/Montana trip. The guides were great and very well prepared and the process went very smooth from the beginning to the end. This was a fun and relaxing and adventurous vacation and we plan to vacation again with Austin Adventures. Our kids really enjoyed all of the activities and made some new friends.

My family has been on numerous Austin Adventures excursions and we have never been disappointed. They take you to sights where very few tourist visit . The accommodations, food and activities are phenomenal! A guarantee OUTSTANDING trip !!!

I have done two different adventures. The tour guides and everyone you deal with are extremely professional. Still amazed they follow up several times with hand written thank-you notes.

Phenomenal vacation. Recently got out of the Army, and was looking for an adventurous vacation. Austin Adventures did not disappoint. Our groups guides were phenomenal. Both Heather M. and Emily H. made the vacation a trip of a lifetime. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

After meeting the owner, Dan Austin, I was so put off by his arrogance that I declined any further association with the company. I also pursued a former employee to ask questions and received an equally off putting response about office operations and culture. Treatment of staff is not good. If I could leave less than one star I would.
