I chose to go to this place because I was told on the phone they had 20 different kinds of bratwursts. I get there and they didn’t have anywhere near that many, I think there was 2 kinds. I was looking for like Hawaiian, jalepeno cheddar, mushroom and Swiss. Anyways I was there already so I went with what they had. I took in elk and mule deer burger made perfectly clear what I wanted from each. They called to come pick up and I noticed they were all labeled what was in the package but not which was elk and which was mule deer. I asked them about it and they just said o yea we don’t do that, we just mix big batches and distribute it by weight. So now I have mule deer elk and who knows what else summer sausage, brats, and pepper sticks. They should have told me that when I drop it off and specifically told them what I wanted from each and I would have done it myself or taken it somewhere else. I’m very disappointed in the service provided.

We have been using Schafers for years. They have always treated us right and fairly. We have gotten our meat orders done on a timely matter.

Im very pleased with how quickly they processed my deer and very pleased with the price thanks again I would definitely recommend you try this wild game processing facility the next time you need your wild game cut up

Great job processing and super fast. I had a flight home a few days after dropping it off and they had it done and frozen a day early.

Not bad at all. Brought in a deer during busy season and they had it back to me in less than a week, everything packaged nicely and tastes great. Fair price and easy to deal with.

They made the mistake of showing us the back where they process. They throw all the deer meat together so doesn’t matter if you take good care of your deer, they mix everyone else’s with yours and give you by weight instead. There was almost more hair in the grinder than meat. Will never use them again. Actually seeing their process will make any sensible person pick a better place to spend there money at.

I am quite disappointed in the service received from these people. The only positive I would say is the quickness of the order completion. It took about a week. Moreover, I shot nearly a 180 pound buck and received back 40 pounds back. I contacted the company about the concerns I had and they refused to care. The lady cared mostly about defending her position rather than the concerns of the customer. She tried to relay to me that my big deer had only 3 ounces of tenderloin. When looking at the deer prior to dropping it off I noticed the tenderloins were good sized. I let her know that unfortunately because of their service we would chose to process with someone else. Its a belief of mine that they steal extra meat off the deer for themselves. I do not recommend this company for your processing needs.

They have great customer service and the fastest turn around time in the area. The meat taste amazing would highly recommend the pepperoni Sticks.

Took my white tail deer to them this year and had sausages made, very friendly and fast service! Got back more than i expected and everything has been delicious!!

Ive used Schafers for the past few years and could not be happier with them. Their Chorizo and jalapeno cheddar summer sausage are personal favorites. Quick, reasonably priced, and a great product!

Customer service was very unpleasant and the price we were quoted at the beginning was not what they charged us at the end.

Sorry! All of our processed meat tasted terrible. Literally couldn’t even try to eat it. We think it was the filler they used. Waste of a deer and $80 to process.

I’ve been going to them for about 20 years and I won’t go back or recommend them again. They only gave me about half the meat and they quoted me $65 then charged me $85. Go somewhere else
