The guys are great. The equipment is on the older side, but their prices are good. Keep the weight and speed down on their trailers. Even if you buy the damage waiver, tires are not included. I recommend this place.

This place is great. Has a ton of equipment at reasonable rates. The staff is awesome.

Called to check if equipment available. Picked up the phone asked to hold 20min later I finally just gave up. I have had poor service at this location many times but this was a new low.Finally had to go into office. Recommend not going in on a weekend.Equipment worked leaked oil had to manipulate broken parts for it to work properly. All in all I was able to complete the job.

A great place

Horrible customer service. We sat there for 40 minutes while one guy tried and failed to figure out their computer several times. He went and got another guy who also couldnt figure it out. They decided to just skip helping us and moved to help two other customers. They just totally ignored us until we told them we were leaving and wouldnt rent from them.The guy started making excuses and talking over my husband. He snottily said what, you want me to change the past? and Are you trying to get a free rental? When my husband got a word in, he told him he simply expected competent people and good customer service.Not only this horrible experience, but the equipment looked old and the entire place looked dingy and in poor condition.

Not a bad place to rent from not a very good place to work for. it has its positives and its negatives like everything. One of the owners seems to be a decent person The other one I have issue with.

These guys always have what I need and are affordable. The know how to use their tools as well. The always shoot me straight.

Always courteous and quick to get me in and out. Time is money.

Takes 3 tries to get a semi-usable Power-rake. No discount, 6 of 11 units inoperable on site. Good luck to anyone hoping to rake yard this spring. Will find alternative in future.

The staff/mechanics are extremely nice and helpful people. The machines however are kinda old though and run down.

Don’t understand why this company has such low reviews! They were great to us, we rented a trailer and everything worked on it and they made sure of it! The price was great too! Highly recommend.

Rented a trailer to haul an f250 from big timber to Billings. The tires were not in that great of shape. They were definitely used and had many miles on them. They told me from the beginning that tires weren’t covered under the protection plan. I understand that if I were to take it out to the dump or off road things happen. But I was driving on the interstate at 60 miles per hour and the tire blew. Had to pay 95 dollars to replace the tire because nobody had anything used. So they got a brand new tire and I got stranded along the interstate. On top of all this, I am a landscape contractor and have done a ton of business with the two rental locations. Didn’t matter to them. I will never do business with them again. Hope they appreciate their brand new tire that replaced their old used one. Definitely not good for business when I advise all my contractor associates how they do things around there. Might be time for someone to open another equipment rental business that actually has well maintained equipment. One last thing. To all the business owners who think it’s a right to have loyal customers just remember you’re wrong. It’s a privilege and it’s earned.

Find a plumber for less than $200? I couldnt. Rented a drain snake from Village Rentals for $30 and took care of the problem. They showed me how to use it and helped me load it. My wife and I are on a fixed income and are grateful that they had what we needed for a fair price.

What a joke! This place rented us junk equipment. After getting their equipment home and realizing it didnt work as it should, we returned it. The gentleman clearly stated that the belt was far too loose and that was the reason it didnt work properly but still charged us for an hour of rental. This is why we usually only rent from S bar S!

It is not uncommon to wait over an hour while they get equipment ready to be rented. I rent from them multiple times every year for big jobs, and no matter how far in advance I reserve the equipment, it is never ready when I arrive. Lots of damaged equipment that they send with the customer, only to have it break down. Recently, they threatened to cancel a reservation I had made weeks in advance if I didn’t delay my job since they rented equipment to someone else the day before I was renting, and it wouldn’t be returned by the time my reservation started. The staff is generally knowledgeable, but they are unprofessional and unfriendly. Would not recommend renting here, I advise you to rent elsewhere.

I have rented many times from Village Rentals and have always been satisfied with the unbeatable service they provide. Once I had an issue with an aerator that wouldnt stay running and I called the number they said to call if I had an issue. They told me I could come trade this one out for another one and when I told them I didnt have time they offered me an in-store credit for me to come use an aerator at my convenience.I have since been a frequent customer and have witnessed them first hand, being considerate and respectful to other customers who happen to be there at the same time I was. In fact, I once witnessed the owner, speaking with an older couple wanting to use a large rear-tine tiller to till a garden.The older couple, unable to handle the large machine, Cody, the owner, loaded up the tiller and went and tilled the garden for the older couple at no charge. I thought that was incredibly kind and thoughtful. Not many businesses I know of that go out of their way like that to help a customer.I dont normally leave a lot of reviews but I noticed the poor rating of one of my favorite businesses and thought Id better set the record straight.Carl M.

Tools are junk rented 4-5 times from them tried to give them one more chance ended up returning because didnt work got told over and over when I brought it back I had to call first before returning did not know that concudering everything I have rented I have returned that might have come up once or twice no one in office could give refund honestly not exspecting one another way to scam you dont waist your time you would think the extra insurance cost would work both ways

The trailer lights didnt work , the rototiller was a piece of junk that wouldnt dig and leaked hydrolic fluid in my garden . The prices were exceedingly high as well .
