I love my Dentist Dr. Jim! Ive have been terrified of the dentist since childhood. He has a way about him that is calming. I believe its in his character, not just for business. The staff is really kind as well! I reccomend this dentist. You wont be disappointed.

This is the best place for a root canal. Dr Jim and entire staff are great and very intent of my needs. I am very glad I chose Dr Dental.

I’ve been seeing “Dr. Jim” for many years. He’s an excellent dentist and really nice person. I’ve worked through a few issues with him. He’s very experienced so nothing you tell him will be a surprise. One time he helped me when I had some anxiety about a specific tooth. Another time he helped me when I was on blood thinners after another unrelated issue. I get my cleaning done regularly now. His staff are all really nice and up to date on all the protocols. Very polite and professional atmosphere in the office. And very good with scheduling and no long waits or delays. They also offer evening appointments which were great for me after work etc. 5 star rating. On my last visit, I received a confirming text as well as personal pre call confirmation which was a nice touch.

So Doctor Jim was my doctor and i was going there 3 years, i had cavity on my tooth which he supposed to fix 10 of them. I went there they charge me almost $1800 to fix my all cavities plus one of my filling and he said all set you don’t have any cavities, suddenly I went to another doctor because I was so far from Billerica and he asked me would you like to fix your cavities I surprised he said you have a lot of cavities. He showed me with a camera and I took the picture of them. I called the office 10 days ago couple more times try to speak with Dr. Jim couldn’t reach him, Reception said you can contact with him with email I emailed and sent my all cavities he never get me back. I am so disappointed I spent money not to fix my tooth! I don’t recommend to go there!!! If you go there try to watch your teeth with mirror to see if they fixed it!

Staff at the front desk seemed to be very professional/ polite, the person who set my appointment was very helpful, and patient with me while I tried to figure what dental insurance I have. Everything seemed great, even the reviews. But when it was time for my appointment I waited for 30 mins after I filled out the paperwork, I was never called on or notified they were going to running late, so o left.. They called me about 10-15 mins later, I didnt bother to answer. They dont seem to respect peoples time. Im not a dentist, but I am very busy. A heads up that my appointment would be starting closer to 1pm instead of 12 would have been very helpful, I may have even rescheduled with them, I understand things happen. But now I dont trust them, if theyll leave me in the waiting room for almost an hr, then what happens once Im in the chair, and they started working me on me already.

Dr. Shah is great! Very personable and thorough. The front desk staff and dental assistants are great, very friendly and helpful.

Love going here! I went from living 5 mins away to 35 mins but still choose to be seen in this office. The staff, assistants and Drs. are amazing. My son is Autistic and very sensitive to noise and certain situations. Yet they made him comfortable and even enjoy being there. They are professional and do as they need to without making you hate going to the dentist.

I couldnt believe how quick I got an appointment. The staff is very friendly. The waiting room and exam rooms are very clean. Dr. Jim was very nice and made me feel at ease. So glad I found Dr. Dental in Billerica.

Update :I want it to be know I never got a call back like the comment reply from them says And months later I am getting charged for x-rays that I said in the office I did not want. But they pushed me and said but your insurance covers it so I said fine.... So why do I have a bill now? Do NOT GO HERE they will lie to you just to get your money!--------------------------------------------------------------------While the customer service was nice and welcoming I would not trust them with your teeth. I felt like they barely inspected my teeth. Less than 1 min looking at my teeth to tell me I had a cavity in the back and didnt seem to look at each individual tooth further. The dentist then left. I asked the girl who was about to polish my teeth if that was really all he was going to take a look at and she assured me he did actually look at my teeth but she could get the manager if I wanted. I declined and then was given the worst polish Ive ever gotten while getting my teeth cleaned. I left feeling like my mouth was barely even clean after the polish. I could have done a better job brushing my teeth at home. Maybe it was because I had bad insurance and they didnt really care to check anything out in depth. But I am here to back up the other reviews that state that if you value your teeth do not go here. Other then the exception of the last year I have been getting my teeth cleaned every 6 months since I was little and I never felt so passed over by a dentist. I will not be back. Sad that I chose this dentist to be my one free cleaning a year.

Called to make an appointment and unfortunately got horrible customer service on the phone. The secretary was rude and very unpolite, she was in extreme hurry to hang up the phone and would not let us talk about choosing a day and time to make an appointment. I had my appointment for September 9 at 2:00pm and was trying to make an appointment for my husband. Unfortunately we were treated so rudly for that I canceled mine and decided not to make an appointment for him. We didnt even get to know the office. Just not worthy it since we were treated horrible at first contact to the office.

They dident try to sell me a Whiting set or try to get me to buy anything or suggest I get a root canal. They were only focused on the reason why i came in. It was a breath of fresh air. I am a new patient to Dr. dental and I was very impressed with the bright clean waiting area upon entering the dental office. What impressed me even more was the upbeat pleasant personality of the gentleman who came out to the lobby and called my name as he shook my hand and said “hi I’m Dr Jim”We chatted for a few minutes and I gave him a brief history of myself before he went to work. I must add, having gone to the same dentist for over 30 years, I was a little nervous not knowing what to expect. However, by the end of the visit I was sure I have found myself a new dentist “Dr. Jim”😊

I called Dr. Dental to fix a broken filling since my regular dentist was closed because it was Friday. Dr. Dental was able to squeeze me in with very little wait. The staff and especially the Dentist were very professional, friendly and the office was bright and new. I had such a wonderful experience, I even booked my next cleaning with them. Now to cancel the appointment with my previous dentist but I guess that will have to wait until Monday since their closed ;)

I’m pretty surprised there are so many good reviews on this place. Unfortunately, my experience here wasn’t good at all. They book 4+ people at the same time which is crazy considering there is only one dentist that works here. Because of the overbooking, the dentist is constantly going from room to room leaving you waiting. At my last appointment I waited nearly an hour and a half after my scheduled appointment time before being seen.Aside from the overbooking issue, I had problems with my teeth after coming here as well. I had to get a few fillings..first appointment I got one done, then had to go back the following day because my tooth felt so rough and awful, he had to file it down to try to smooth it out. He filed and filed and it still didn’t feel smooth at all, and he filed so much it completely reshaped my tooth to the point where I now have a gap between two teeth and it looks terrible and feels even worse. Then I went back in for another filling, had him try to fix the other tooth again, more filing, still didn’t fix it. So then he did the other filling. After coming home and the Novocain wearing off, I realized yet again my tooth is rough and sharp. I will definitely be finding a new dentist to fix his mistakes.The only good thing I can say about this place is that the receptionists are friendly.

Best place for kids and adults. I had to get a tooth pulled .They took me right in, checked it .went in a few days after and got it pulled .my daughter loves going to the dentist, which is amazing! Highly recommend!!!

If you value your teeth and want a thorough dentist do not go here.My first impression going to the Billerica location was not very good. The atmosphere is very clean and inviting, but the girls at the front desk are not attentive or welcoming. I felt ignored and confused. Both the girls were more concerned with their computers & phones than with me. A very cold welcome.I was called in to be seen by a very sweet dental assistant who treated my kindly and took x-rays then instructed me that the Dr would be in soon.The doctor came in looking like she hasnt slept in days and just started working on my teeth without informing me of what was going on, coldy informed me I have a couple cavities and need crowns then walked away.The dental assistant came back to do the rest of my cleaning and bairly polished my teeth gave me a toothbrush and sent me to reception to book my next appointment, the girls asked me to hold on made me wait 15 minutes for them to stop what they were doing and take care of me. Ive never experienced such horrible service at a dentist office in my life...worse than gentle dentle.

Dr. Jim recently replaced a filling in a front tooth. It was on the back side of the tooth. Im very happy with the result. It saved me from doing a more expensive cap replacement.

Dr. Dental has Saturday hours which is very convenient. I was seen right away & given a print out of what work was needed so I could see cost ahead of time. They also have a payment plan which is also very convenient.

From my years of neglect and putting it off I was expecting the worst, but I was completely put at ease from the moment I walked in, receptionist was awesome and the hygienist was beyond awesome as well putting on music of my choice to ease my mind, they did X-rays and an exam to set up a treatment plan for me, needless to say I’ll need some cavities filled and a through cleaning over the course of a few visits, but I have been totally put at ease with how awesome Dr Jim was, he was so nice and gentle during the exam and everyone was non judge mental throughout the whole process, they could tell how nervous and anxious I was, nothing but smiles and reassurances!! They even allowed my gf to be with me in the room for support!!! Don’t hesitate for a second to come here for your treatment, I’m looking forward to getting my smile and mouth back with the services of Dr Dental, and so happy I found Dr Dental right in my home town!!! I saw Dr. Jim at Dr. Dental in Billerica for two fillings and a crown replacement. Dr. Jim is very skillful and knowledgable. I have had a lot of dental work done over the years, and Dr. Jim is the first dentist to go through every step with me and explain what he is doing and what my options were for my treatment plan. Both procedures went by quickly and smoothly. I currently have a temporary crown and will return for the final crown. I was surprised by the result as the temporary crown Dr. Jim made looks better than the original crown I had removed. I am very pleased with the results and I am excited to complete my treatment plan. I have a few more procedures to do, but I am not nervous at all because I trust Dr. Jim very much. He is a caring, mindful, and understanding dentist, as well as the most skillful dentist that has ever worked on me.
