For the past 2 years, we were on the search to find a reliable contractor to install ductless mitsubishi system in our condo. Let me say that these guys are great. My coworker used them to install hvac in their house they bought and she has mentioned they their service and product is really good.I will say that I have to agree. These guys were absolutely amazing. We went to a handful of hvac companies but no one wanted to take our project since our home is a very old colonial (1860) and it was definitely going to be a tough job. These guys were so kind and responsive, knew exactly what they were doing and how to do it, and they did it well. They installed the gorgeous state of the art system in the summer heat quickly and cleanly and we thank our lucky stars for them and the ac-- every dang day.

This team is a group of hard working fantastic young people!We got a set of small duct HVAC installed in our house and the whole process was very smooth. Jason came to do the house inspection and patiently explained all the details about the installation plan. The installation was done neatly by Scott with three technicians. I thought installing 23 outlets through a 3000 sq house would cause a huge mess, but not with Unique Indoor Comfort! The duct pathway was drilled neatly, the edge was very smooth and all the tubes were hidden in the closet, no dirt or mess on walls or ceilings at all. Steve, the owner, came to check the process 3 times during installation to make sure everything was correctly done.Will recommend them to friends and neighbors.

Really just an excellent experience. My projects were not your standard out-of-the-box installs, and while nothing ever goes exactly according to plan, UIC made sure that I was fully informed at all times. These guys do quality work and if something goes wrong, theyll be there day of or next morning. They installed a Navien combi boiler for me (among other things) a few weeks ago and the pump died this morning. Called them up, already replaced and fixed (it is 12:57pm). Also very much enjoyed working with Jason C - creative sales guy and overall super responsive. These guys arent the cheapest, but they are the highest quality.

We had Unique Indoor Comfort install AC on the first floor, and from start to finish they provided professional, timely, and high quality work. We worked mostly with Steve and Jonathan, and both were absolutely amazing. The AC on our upper floors (much older system, installed before we bought the house) had some major issues on the week of July 4 - Steve came up and got it fixed on the day before the 4th as a last minute call. Their commitment to their customers is great! Well definitely hire them again for when it comes time to replace the AC on our upper floors.

Very impressed with Unique Indoor Comfort. They did AC + Heat in our house - an older home, built in 1930s. We had several rooms unheated and difficult to access via HVAC, due to flat roof. Unique team went the extra mile to get inconspicuous ducting to these rooms. I had also made a number of special requests (tucking ducting between floor joists in basement, using old radiator holes to route ducting, etc.) and they were very accommodating. We paid a premium to have them do the work, but they were not the most expensive of the bids, and their customer focus was excellent and well worth the premium to have it done right.

Great job....3 years ago they installed a high efficiency gas boiler and I was very happy . They were professional clean and installed on the date they said they would.....GREAT!!!I had them come back and install central air..in a 1955 colonial!! Again..GREAT job. Quick clean and on time. Steve the owner even suggested a ductless system for the basement family room for efficiency ...we dont use the room all that much. Works wonderfully all around!I found the service and professional manner of all the employees I encountered refreshing...I appreciate the fact that both jobs were done on time, with very nice clean up and at a reasonable price.

We love our HVAC air conditioner Unique installed in our 1930s home a couple of years ago! It works perfectly and makes our house feel like a dream in summer! Dont know how we got along without it! Their workers were totally professional and arrived on schedule, both to install it and for the maintenance. I highly recommend them!

I have used Unique Indoor Comfort since I moved to the area. They installed my heating system and have serviced it for 6 years. The office staff are professional and always ready to help. The service person is the same guy year after year - which is nice not having a bunch of random people through your house. He is also professional and always cleans up when he is done. I highly recommend UIC.

I had a new gas furnace and central air system installed. The installation team did a great professional job. All yearly maintenance and warranty work was done throughly and completely. All issues were addressed on the day I called or the next morning. The office staff and the field techs are 100% the best.

Job was done but rates are ABSURD. I want to make it clear to everyone reading this review what they charge ($220/hr, $99 trip charge.) just in case you dont ask, which is what happened in my case. My bill was $660 for basically what amount to a $250 job.Tech was on the phone with tech support at Navien for an hour, spent another 45 minutes talking with me. I could have called Navien myself.I guess it was my fault because I never asked what their hourly rate was so they had a license to charge whatever they wanted. I only want to make everyone aware.When I tried to call customer service to complain all they kept saying was they are the cheapest around and that I authorized. I also tried to get them to put the units (I have 3 of them) under a service contract ($1050)and try to absorb some of the cost of the call into the service contract and got a flat out NO.Please be aware. Thanks

My auxiliary heat was not turning on when the outdoor temperature dropped below the 35 F temperature threshold where my heat pump is less efficient than gas. Service team member came out and had it fixed promptly. I would definitely recommend them.

Unique Comfort has been a great find! They diagnosed my broken air conditioner and promptly sent me a quote for the new installation. Their quote was very reasonable and they scheduled the installation to be within a few days, as opposed to the three weeks a larger company required. The next day there was a small problem and they sent someone out the same day. They were prompt, efficient and polite. The guys that did the install were super neat, respectful and conscientious. They answer the phone when I call. They get back to me quickly and they really seem to care about the satisfaction of their customers.

I’ll start by saying these guys don’t have an easy job to begin with, and my house made it even harder. Everything about my old home just screamed that I can’t have central air, not even high velocity (some contractors didn’t even bid on the job because they thought it would be too tough). However, Unique indoor comfort had a good price among those willing to try and they subsequently did an outstanding job. When first visiting my house, they were clear about the pros and cons of high velocity compared to traditional A/C and mini split systems, what parts of my finished attic will be taken over by the system and where I would need to have finishing work done. The installation crew did a great job wrestling my non-compliant house to get the system in, and they left very little unexpected damage in their path (this surprised me given the nature of my house and the job to be done). Lastly, the boss was there to get the job started and answer any questions; he also came at the end to inspect the work and perform some final finishings. Some of the other bidders were either too small with not enough experience with high velocity, or large operations with a lot of marketing dollars but lacking the impression they would do what’s right for their customers. Unique indoor comfort has that customer committed family operation combined with the experience needed to get the tough jobs done, and that is the perfect blend for me.

I first had UIC install SpacePak in my home. High velocity AC is more expensive than a traditional system and I wanted someone who would work with me to get exactly what I wanted in my complicated and old home. They did an excellent job and I couldn’t be happier with the AC and their service. They were patient as we worked out some kinks at the end of the project (not their fault…I’ve now learned the nightmare that Nest thermostats can cause).I was so happy with their service that I had them convert my house to gas. They installed a new boiler for me and worked with me to move the position in the basement. They also have a pressing tool so they don’t have to solder the copper pipes, which I would highly recommend. There was a slight assembly issue of the boiler from the manufacture (Alpine). Steve came out on a Saturday and fixed it in 15 minutes.Excellent customer service and installation. I’ve been recommending them to my friends and finally got around to writing a review. They aren’t the cheapest you’ll find, but you get what you pay for and UIC is worth it if you are investing in your home. You won’t regret it.
