I arrived before they opened. Only one person allowed in at a time. Was in and out in 10 minutes. Staff is excellent - very helpful , professional and pleasant

Im speaking on behalf of my sister who has learning disabilities. Why is it that my sister doesnt receive her paperwork from dhhs until its too late and her benefits have ended. This has happened several times. Then youre either on the phone for hours with no response or youre in the office for hours before you see anyone. Then they blame my sister for not getting her paperwork in on time. Today she received a letter from dhhs that was dated for the 12th. Are you kidding me? How long did that letter sit in their outgoing box before it was mailed. My mother worked in the portland dhhs for years. Her clients loved her. She worked do hard for them and cared. Why cant others care. They could be in the same situation some day

I was told are card was mailed to us I call pine trees for the cards and get told that there is not even an account for me or my family. So here we are a family of four stressed out and no way of getting information. Does anyone know where I could go to just pick up the card because apperalently they dont do them at the office here

First time ever needing this kind of help. My wife has been out of work for 7 months with a back injury, we had no choice but to apply. Staff was super friendly and explained everything, they were able to get us on MaineCare the same day we were there. Awesome

The eligibility specialist I saw was great. She was kind and funny and treated you like a human not a number.

I was treated unfair with this rude lady that worked there as she was the one that just calls out numbers for people to be seen! She tried to get to make it so I wouldnt get seen I dont know if it was the way I dressed she was profiling me or what but treated me like I didnt need the help had an awful attitude She was very rude but the lady that helped me in the office was very pleasant and helped me with services that I needed so it turned out ok!

Doing their best, doing an impossible job. They need more money and help to be able to get their jobs done as well as they want to. Helping kids and parents through tough times is never easy but always important!

They dont answer the phone and dont have a basic call back service so you dont have to wait on the phone for hours... expect to wait and wait and wait with no ability to have them call you back, like most businesses do now... why is the government always living in the 1700s?

Talk about inefficient!! Wow the tales of people standing around doing nothing while clients stack up in the lobby are true! I waited patiently with a friend I had brought to try and get a problem ironed out that couldnt be accomplished online for some strange reason. I saw workers talking off to the side and yucking it up even though 10-12 people were waiting to be seen. Then when my friend was seen 90 minutes later she was in and out in 2 minutes. She said the worker was rude and condescending the entire time. Its not like they compete for business or they would have closed long ago!!!

The young lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The woman I saw was Rachael. She was awesome. No complaints.

These people make up their own laws non of their procedures are judicial and violate peoples rights their judges are not judges just commissioners acting as judges the can be sued under 42 u.s.c 1983 under color of law in federal court they are just contracted under federal government and they are a separate unit.

Biddeford is always packed, long wait times, under staffed, and theres normally qlways at least one jerk that comes in and makes a seem while your waiting. The only good thing about this place is you can photocopy for free

It sure would be nice if the people here could do there job or return a phone call. Typical state money hard at work as usual

Long wait time...to see someone... other than that its ok....

We came to the office to seek help and assistance with our TANF application. Instead we receives unpleasant service from the worker who handles the TANF program. She didnt explain anything to us about the program, treating us like beggars who want to steal money out of her pocket. Shame on such service!

They are scum! robbing hard working people and cant even be nice

I try to avoid going here if possible takes for ever to be seen and its always crowded and with the new design its like sitting in a jailhouse
