Great place. Seems under staffed walked around for 10 mins looking for a person who worked there for guidance on what brand would be best.just 2 cashiers and no one on the floors other then that it was good

Staff is friendly and helpful. The variety of dog and cat food, and other treats n such is great! Theyre kind of pricey, but they have what I need if I need it usually. And they price match Chewy too I think.

Arianna did a great job on my golden Aces grooming. The only reason I did not give them a 5⭐ was because after 3 1/2 hours I had to finally call and check on my boo-boo. I mean, Ace has anxiety without me. So he must of been sad. But I will definitely go back, but will let them know to make sure to call me right away.

Will give credit to their vast selection of products for all pets. However, my dog went into anaphylactic shock from one of their frosted Halloween cookies. Ill never go there again if I can help it. Risk not worth it.

Great crew. Very helpful and knowledgeable. I only ever see two of three people working there. So kudos to them cause they do a lot during busy times.

Slightly overpriced but what big box chain store isnt. Though I definitely see that they up mark products to compensate for their store wide sales all of the time. Last I was there, most of the cages were empty, which is fine by me as I hate the chain store pet trade.

The woman who helped me and my daughter pick out our new mouse and his habitat was so kind, knowledgeable and patient! I believe her name was Sydney. I cannot thank her enough for taking the time to help us on such a busy day. We are so happy with our new family member and we will be sure to go back again for his food and habitat needs.

Pretty sparce on new pets at the moment but well stocked with pet essentials and toys.

Their stock is always low or overpriced. The people are great but everything else screams poor corporate micromanagement.

In spite of the pandemic Pet Smart is running smoothly. During my visit I noticed that employees were cleaning and making sure that everyone in the store were following proper social distancing protocols

I go here regularly with my pup. Generally I find products Im looking for. Their groomers have a gentleman that knows exactly how to take care of my newfoundland. I have also tried a 6mo intermediate training session with Casey. Its all good stuff here, at least for pups, they all know her name, Bailey!

We love outsmart. They have a great selection of fish. They have a ton of amazing animals products, and the staff so helpful. We love that you can bring your pets in to shop with you- we love the cat adoption area

I come here mostly because its the only pet store around. Ordinarily I would give a pet store five stars but recently they have had a lack of stock on pretty much everything from fish to rodents.

I was new to this area last spring. I brought my yorkie for grooming. When I picked him up, he was trembling and after arriving home I noticed he was limping. The groomer almost cut his toe off when trimming his nails!!!! His nails were so short you could see the quick exposed! I called the store manager and she was very nice and said she would review video. I never heard back from manager but I will NEVER return to that hellish grooming salon!!!!

Our local shop is a very popular shop, and so they have limited amounts of some of the very popular small animal items, but they help if you call first. Professional, efficient & pleasant recommend them.

Biddeford, ME Petsmart had exactly what I was looking for. Website was up to date for in-stock items, unlike the constant headache Petco is. Sales staff was more than welcoming! Ill be back for sure.

People are not very friendly that work there. They had a good supply of items.

I only one working cashier no one back there to do fish and there were kind of a small crowd a long line but there were plenty of workers up front moving about and talking to one another but no one jumped on a register

Don’t buy reptiles from here. Specifically snakes. Asked to buy a ball python, staff member didnt know many of the answers to our questions. Waited 20 mins for the “snake expert” to arrive and she roughly handled the snakes before giving us the “healthiest looking one”.. red flag #1. One of the snakes had a respiratory infection and was blowing bubbles out of its nose. The other one had very pale pink gums.Moral of the story, they don’t take care of their snakes, we bought one and we adored him and took perfect care of him but he was secretly sick as we found out and he died tonight after having him for around 3 weeks. Do your research. Go to a reputable breeder... not here.

NEVER BY AN ANIMAL FROM THEM!!! we got a bearded dragon from them and it had liver failure and was very sick. The staff are uneducated and can’t help you. They do not care about their animals and do not treat them properly at all.

They are very helpful and friendly. They have just about anything you need for your pets. The place I used to go stopped having food for my bearded dragon. Pet smart has everything. I love it.

Ive used PetSmart Grooming in other locations with great success and was almost always pleased with the results.However, Ive used the Biddeford location twice and the haircuts are not up to par. My dogs hair is uneven, there are longer patches of hair, and there are clear uneven chop marks anywhere they used scissors.

They take horrible care of their beardies. They literally lock a bunch of them up at a time in a file cabinet. I bought mine from petsmart and he died shortly afterwards. My little buddy Zoom deserved better.

An amazing place with an excellent selection but the store needs to hire more staff, it was very busy in the check out lines and service took almost 15 minutes with only one staff member checking us all out, other then that my experience was good.

Every time i go in there it a problem im trying to buy fish and the lady was like my tank is too small like lady i didnt ask for ur opinion i asked about the fish and what i need its a hard time to buy a fish they need better ppl skills and try and make sales instead of driving ppl away

I just love this place. The employees really are animal lovers too! Cat adoption, dog training and pet grooming available. Great prices and they have a rewards program. They are always donating to local shelters and rescues and it really helps the community. Clean, well lit store with plenty of parking.

Was ok, they dont have much for fish right now and when we wanted to get a certain fish we were refused due to setting up new aquarium but we have had one for years. Should be our choice to get what we want. Everything else is good

We got a new cat and needed supplies. They only had 2 sizes of litter pans. Both were high sides and with covers. The liners didnt match the pans. Hate to say but we we went to Walmart and found what we needed. 😕

Their fish tanks made me sad. Most were bare, the ones that had fish in them were so dirty. They had next to no animals whatsoever. Not one bird, saw 1 bearded dragon, thats about it.

My husband purchased 75 gallon set up. He dealt with Wanda Potter. When we set it up we were missing a piece to the hood. He called and we were told it would be put in the mail. We were very happy with that. This was just a few days ago. He went to go outside today and found the piece with a note attached from Wanda. She had to be in the Brunswick area today and she personally came and dropped it off at our door. I must say that I was shocked. That is truly the best customer service I have seen in a very long time. So kudos and thank you to Wanda and Pet Smart for awesome service! Paul and Chris Sawyer

My dogs love their spa time with the groomers. They do a great job and deserve 5 stars. Pet Smart loses one star for pricing on their general merchandise.

We recently adopted two dogs and PetSmart has been a great resource for us. The grooming staff is wonderful. We were able to get right in for a nail trim and the groomer provided helpful education about nail trimming. The store staff are always helpful and super friendly.

New pup! Stella had a new shelter pup bath and signed up for puppy classes!! She also got a bunch of new toys!

Its always so fun to go to petsmart. Its nice to see all the animals and their pet parents.

Since Mum last review was deleted Ill post this AGAIN! The employee of this store clearly do not know how to feed juvenile Bearded Dragon pellet food properly. Time and time again I come to this location to get food for my own bearded dragons and stop to see the ones here. Their bowls are always full of dried pellets! I have the same food (only used in emergencys as there is not a lot of nutritional value in it) and it clearly says to MOISTEN PELLETS WITH WATER BEFORE FEEDING! Every time I see this I bring this to an associate attention and get attitude like Im the one that is wrong! Please!! Educate yourselves and employees on how to properly care for ALL your animals. You would give a dog or cat with no teeth dry food would you? Absolutely not! So why torture your reptiles and starve them by putting food that is to hard for them to eat in their enclosures? I get sick to my stomach every time I am in this location and see this! Please Fix this!

There is a guy there that basically refuses to sell you a fish. Took us three trips before we found another worker willing to sell us a fish. The fish we picked are doing well, we have had them a month.

Took my dog in to have his nails trimmed. Katrina clipped 2 nails to short.Making my dog Yelp in pain. Been going there for 2 yrs never had problems. She told me I need to take my dog somewhere else.Very disappointed that someone whos not dog friendly works there.

Neat clean store with employees cordial and eager to help. I find some of the prices a little higher than I want to pay , particularly aquarium decorations. I like to look at the reptiles every time Im in the store because there is always something different.
