This place was amazing not only were they very kind, patient, and professional, but the price was just right as well! I will definitely be bringing my son back as well as my daughter and I will be going there from here on out!

Good stuff, made an appointment on the same day I called for my 2 young boys, no wait on arrival and the cuts were quick and on point.

This place touched my heart. I was there getting a haircut, and a gentleman came in asking for pricing on services. Apparently this guy needed a haircut badly, but was short on money. He didn’t have enough to cover the service, but the owner clearly saw this man was in need and not only gave him an amazing haircut, she did not charge him a dime. The man was so grateful he broke down into tears. This place is for out community. They will have my business forever.

Brought my son here today, he’s almost 8. Getting haircuts for him professionally is non-existent. After a mini anxiety attack, he got up in the chair and she started. Less than 2 mins later he said “mom I don’t know why I got so worried about this” I wished I had asked for her name but she was so amazing, patient and kind. He chatted to her about everything. At the end he said “mom, this is where I want to go from now on.” He asked me to write a review(I know how does he even think of that!?!) he said make sure you give it 5 stars, because we’re pretty much friends now(him and the hairdresser🤣) thank you so much for the amazing job! He even wanted this picture taken!

My grandson just had his haircut, and so love it,, we picked picture of of Google, and the hairdresser was so amazing, kind and gentle with him.A haircut just like the picture he said.

My family had been considering trying Woodgrain for a while and now that we have we will never go anywhere else! The inside is immaculate and covid safe! The atmosphere and barbers make the experience really relaxing and fun. Theyre also great with kids which is so helpful! I didnt even know how to describe exactly what my 10 year old wanted but the barbers knew and did it spot on. We were super happy and impressed. We also have always been able to get in pretty quickly! If you have ever considered trying this place out- DO IT!

I went to Maria specifically to get an undercut with a design and it was so good I’m a regular now, my son goes, and everyone who sees my undercut asks where I go. The shop is clean and professional, bright and feels so comfortable.

I live in New Hampshire and happened to be in Biddeford one afternoon, got a haircut at Woodgrain. That was 2 years ago and I have been coming back once a month since...I make the drive to Biddeford solely for the purpose of getting my haircut here. It’s worth the gas and time. This place will always be busy because it’s awesome. Period.

Always worth the risk to have a talented artist look at you and say ‘well what if we did it this way...’ He’s so careful, creative and thoughtful and I appreciated the time he spent with my cut and beard. Waited a short time in a comfortable atmosphere. Watched their team executing professional and modern cuts. Highest quality and craftsmanship. Master stylists. Maria was great! She gave me the clean and conservative cut I was asking for, then when it was almost done she offered some modern artistic options. I agreed! What a Great Cut! She can do it all! I’ve been driving an hour for my hair cuts for almost 2 years and decided to give wood grain a try. I was absolutely blown away with everything from the decor all the way to an awesome hair cut that was very affordable. Maria knows how to cut some hair and I will be back!

I have been to every barbershop in the area- Portland, Old Orchard Beach, etc. This place will be my shop from here on out. The haircuts are always on point. Best fade of my life. It’s like walking into a spot in Brooklyn or Manhattan, place has free drinks, and I get an awesome cut. Do not pass this place over.

Ive been coming here for about over a year now. She really knows what shes doing! Ive never had a haircut that I was unsatisfied with. My only gripe is that she can be a little rough on the skin when using a straight razor, but thats a minor complaint really.If you want a stylish haircut and beard trim, go here!

Wonderful staff, and what a fantastic haircut. It was simply refreshing to be in such a pleasant atmosphere. Also, to be able to get rid of the mop on my head with less than an hour away from closing and to be getting over a cold.... 10 out of 10.

Made appointment for 4pm on 6/22/2020 and they took down my number. Got there 3 minutes early. No one else in shop but the 2 barbers and Maria told me to sit outside until im called. I said ok and sat outside. Its hot and construction going on so i went to car to wait for them to car me. Its 511pm and still no call. Very unprofessional and definitely wont be going back.

Always a great barber cut! My son has been going for years and Maria lines are perfect. He always gets complements after.

First time I went there the only male barber took a phone call while cutting my hair, and messed my cut up bad. Not too mention they blasted the same 4 pop smoke songs over and over again. Never even got a second chance to get my hair cut there because I called on a tuesday morning at 10:30 am, made an appointment for 1:00pm same day, and there was not anyone there when I showed. Such a joke not a professional establishment.

The only place I will take my son. She does an amazing job.

First time visit -Nice aesthetic, clean shop. Cool that they have beer...but barber ignored/misunderstood what I asked for. I had long hair and wanted my hair lightly trimmed and cleaned up, but I ended up with a short head of hair. My hair will grow back and it was still a nice cut, but not what I asked for. That being said, got a good shave.Would definitely get a shave there again, but will likely go elsewhere for a trim. Other customers seemed quite satisfied so I may have just had bad luck.

Brought my grandson here and Maria gave him a great haircut. My grandson has special needs and she was very attentive and patient with him. Highly recommend!!

I brought my 77 year old handicapped husband for a trim today and have so many things I’d like to say about this business. The owner greeted us by opening the door for us, took our coats and offered us coffee. She took the time to talk with us, helped my husband into the barber chair and made sure she got the exact haircut he asked for. My husband is beyond picky and she took her time and was meticulous. We live in Kennebunk and heard about this place and thought we would give it a try. I was blown away by the warm welcoming atmosphere and quality of the haircut. Maria was the sweetest barber my husband has ever been to and he loved his cut. The place is beautiful but more importantly the staff took the time to make us feel at home and comfortable. Thank you so much to Woodgrain barbers for a great afternoon, it was worth the trip to Biddeford. Maria, you have an amazing heart and have such a way with the elderly. When i go there they make my hair a priority and take the time needed to get perfection very satisfied with woodgrain if you havent been there yet its a need to go place. You have a adult beverage or if your with your kids there is also non alcoholic beverages there as well so get over there..

Posted hours are Friday opening at 10 a.m. They werent open at 10:25 a.m., so I came back in the afternoon. I walked in as the only barber was on the phone with someone who wasnt a client. Multiple cuss words happened on the call as I was the only client waiting. Then the barber slapped the chair and told me to Come on. I left and told the barber that Im gonna pass. I went down the street to another barber.

Place looks nice but Ill never go. Called to confirm hours and ask about making an appointment the woman who answered. Sounded annoyed and was rude. To bad guess its back to chain barbers.

Extremely rude person who runs the place! Dont be mislead by the cover.... The best part is the interior. Thats it! Slow (thats why the place looks busy, as the wait time in line is loooong), average quality of the haircut, final price coming up to 50% higher than initially told. But more importantly that female (who runs the place, unforunately for the place) has not been obviously exposed to business education (or any education?) and is not aware that business is built on repeated business, customers will forget what drink they had, but will never forget the feeling thet left with.
