This is a wonderful company I highly recommend Beverly Glass.I’m just a homeowner and needed two pieces of plate glass for table tops not only did they come out it was actually the owner who came out and measured within a week and then they gave me a quote within a week and I approved it and then a week later it was installed perfectly .it looks great and everybody was more than pleasant to work with .they were professional and courteous and did the job well.Two other companies did not want to bother with me one gave me a high quote. The other one never return my calls and the first company was going to take 5 or weeks to get the job done . They made me feel like I wasn’t a priority.Beverly glass is highly knowledgeable ,prompt and very professional.

Beverly Glass recently installed a shower door for us and did a terrific job. Very professional. It was a somewhat difficult job due to pipes behind the wall and they took the time to carefully avoid the pipes.

Beverly Glass is absolutely tremendous. We had some older windows that would not stay open. Tom came over and inspected the windows and said he would have the parts in at no time. A member was Beverly Glass showed up a few days later and had the windows working like new in just minutes.

After hearing about how awesome the team at Beverly Glass was from a construction colleague, I decided to find out for myself. I walked in off the street and 10 minutes later was bringing in two antique side tables to have custom glass measured and cut to protect the tops. I just called at 11:45 am ~~we needed plastic guards for our shower doors..The person said he needed to leave at noon (they close then) and he normally would stay but had an appointment... Called for a window pane, they told me they dont sell window glass.Interesting. Its a glass company. That doesnt sell window glass. Im sure theres a decreasing need for that kind of thing, and they were helpful in providing me contact for another company that sells it.

Beverly Glass Company installed a beautiful shower frameless glass surround almost 22 years ago. I have not once had a problem with the glass, installation and even the seals around the doors until recently. The bottom sweep seal was letting water out (after 22 years I was pretty lucky). I went to the shop and purchased three strips of water seal and figured looked simple enough to replace myself. Not so much. It was a Thursday and was expecting 20 overnight guests the following Friday at 3:00. If water leaks from this shower it goes right to my kitchen ceiling. Thursday night I could not get the botton seal to slide on properly and was in a real bind. Now there is no seal and would definitely have a significant problem. I called Beverly Glass on Friday AM and Tom was able to send over one of his guys within the hour and install the bottom guard properly. Even the gentleman who came out was super nice, friendly and courteous. This was an emergency situation and Beverly Glass truly came through for me. The office staff is so friendly and helpful as well. I would highly recommend Beverly Glass Company. They don’t just have excellent products but fantastic customer service.

I called this company for a quote to replace a window on 3/17. They were busy and couldn’t send anyone out to look until 3/29. I was sitting home waiting for the guy to come inside and measure. He sat in my driveway for 10 mins and never rang the doorbell. Then left. I am then told it looked like no one was home despite both our cars being in the driveway. He takes a “rough” measurement from outside. I’m then told he needs to come back again to really measure. He never shows up. I get a quote (with inaccurate measurements) for an absurd amount of money. I went with Weaver Glass. Quote was way more reasonable and they actually came and did the work. What a concept...

Got my windshield replaced... whatever they used to put it back in was splatter all over the inside of my car. I had some CDs on the front seat that they got it on too. CD cases were cracked and thrown onto the floor in the back seat. Hasnt rained yet so I dont know if the actual installation was good or not, but so far not impressed.

Dear Tom Trudel and Staff at Beverly Glass,Thank you for soliciting my opinion about your company.I have been a Salem resident for forty years. My wife and I bought our first house, an 18th century colonial that had been “modernized” in the 1860’s. It had only a few storm windows and most of the original, unprotected windows were in very sad condition. As we were low on funds after the purchase, I had to fix all the windows myself. I learned that I may be one of the world’s least skilled glass cutters.When I saw period, wooden windows waiting for the trash curbside, I would collect them, salvage their glass and any wooden parts that matched our windows and make what repairs that I could.After a few years, we could afford to have our old windows professionally repaired. I always try to engage local professionals whenever possible. For more than a decade, there was only one fellow, an older gentleman from Salem’s French-Canadian community with whom I traded. When he retired and left the area, I sought other Salem glass repair companies. The several companies I dealt with did not measure-up in skill, especially with antique windows, price, and customer service –two places would regularly seem annoyed that I had brought-in old windows.Fortunately, a few years ago, one of my contractors spoke highly to me of Beverly Glass. I made a phone call, was pleasantly invited to bring my window in to the shop and leave it for repair, and I did so. It was on this first visit that I met Tom and a couple of the other workers. Despite selling and dealing with very modern designs and all manner of glass accoutrements, Beverly Glass struck me as an Old School, straightforward shop. They know their business, tell you when your window is likely to be ready and it is, or even earlier on some occasions. I have brought all my broken windows to Beverly Glass ever since –no regrets or disappointments. We now have a second, newer house, 1848, and it came with many needy windows.I am very comfortable recommending Beverly Glass to anyone looking for reliable work and service. If you are the sort of person who prefers a small business, locally owned and managed efficiently, over a mega-chain glass replacement company; then this is your place.Respectfully & Truthfully,RF

I came in one day with a shattered double pane window, that fell out of the frame, (,old house needs new windows completely all around too) my window wasnt in the best shape but tom kindly took care of my glass. He ordered it and had it in within the week, I paid cash for the whole thing, he even took the time out to put a temporary piece of plexiglass in to keep the cold weather out. I brought my glass back and he put it together while I waited. I know who to reccomend and I reccomend tom for any glass repair.

Beverly Glass was contacted by the previous owner (Seller) of our new condo to repair a sliding glass door. When the door couldn’t be fixed, Seller contracted with and prepaid Beverly Glass for the purchase and installation of a new slider. This agreement was part of the closing documents when we purchased the condo last June.We contacted Beverly Glass about a month later about date of installation. Beverly Glass sent a man to measure the opening. Three weeks went by with no update. After many attempts to reach Beverly Glass, we were finally told there was a problem and the owner, Tom Trudel, would personally come to measure (again).Mr. Trudel arrived, measured, and declared that the door had to be custom-made due to size of the opening (which turned out to be false), and further that we’d have to hire a carpenter, at our expense, to work with him; otherwise, he couldn’t do the installation. Obviously, he had taken on and had been prepaid for a job he couldnt perform.Weeks went by, back and forth, waiting for the custom-made door. Mr. Trudel back-tracked and informed us we wouldn’t need to hire a carpenter; then once again said we did when it was actually time to do the installation.Our only recourse was to bring a small claims suit, and we have successfully won a judgment against Beverly Glass. After a six-month struggle, justice was served, and the black cloud has been lifted from our retirement home.In the meantime, we contracted with Home Depot who installed an in-stock Andersen door at lesser cost, with exceptional workmanship and professionalism.We suggest you avoid Beverly Glass. Beverly Glass took on a job that they could not deliver, acted dishonestly and lacked integrity.
