My sons confidence in Math and his self-esteemed has soared because of Mathnasium. Through assessments, they put together personalized study plan and give detailed feedbacks on the progress. He has disliked Math the last two school years but now loves it and has done extremely well last semester because of the work Mathnasium teachers have done with him. Great group of teachers and a management. Teachers have a lot of patience, great instructional techniques, and always make sure my son understands the contents thoroughly. We are so thankful for Mathnasium, especially during the pandemic, with their flexible schedule offerings both in-person and online!I highly recommend Mathnasium of North Beverly!!

Mathnasium is awesome! It’s something that my kids actually enjoy going to. It helps them when they are confused with what they are learning about at school, it’s a nice homework helper, And great for refreshing them in the summertime! The staff is awesome to work with the tutors are so awesome. My kids are always laughing and end up enjoying their time doing math… Which is something we never got to do as kids!

My son has done 2-3 hours a week at Mathnasium in North Beverly for a few months and we are very pleased with the results. He is much more confident about math, looks forward to his sessions, and his grades have improved. He left a recent session beaming, telling me, I had a math breakthrough! and proceeded to help a friend with his math homework. I never thought Id see that day! We love the schedule which allows a busy family the flexibility we need. Huge thanks to Jim and staff.

Enrolling both of my children at Mathnasium was one of the best decisions Ive ever made as a mom.Theyve gone from feeling not so confident about math to finding the joy in studying it, all thanks to Jim and his exceptional team. The tutors are all caring, knowledgeable, and passionate about their subject. Our family is very happy with our experience at Mathnasium in North Beverly. The tutors are great with our young elementary-aged child, whose confidence and enjoyment with math continue to grow. Its very easy to schedule sessions that work for our family.

Both my girls have found Mathnasium to be helpful and supportive as they navigate HS math classes. Mathnasium helped them choose the correct classes to put them in the right direction to be prepared for college. My 7th grade son started Mathnasium as it became clear that he needed some support. He was doing fine with homework but the information wasn’t sticking for tests and he struggled with word problems. After his first session, he popped into the car with his eyes wide as saucers. My “too cool for school” kiddo exclaimed, “Whoah! Is that what learning math is supposed to feel like? It’s like my brain feels more alive- I just get it!” Out of the mouth of babes. Best investment hands down.

My son went to Mathnasium this summer because he wanted to complete a geometry course over the summer and jump right into Algebra II in the fall. The tutors were fantastic and he actually looked forward to going there every day--even though it was summer! He made it through the geometry book easily. Jim, the owner, was fantastic about flexible scheduling and payments. Im pleased to report that my son not only passed his geometry placement test, but was put into Algebra II honors for next year. Thank you, Jim, for all that you and your tutors did to get him there!

Mathnasium has very qualified teachers and they work hard to make students feel comfortable and confident in achieving their math goals. When my son and daughter leave after their session with a teacher they are feeling quite confident and understanding of the math packet they originally didnt understand. Mathnasium teachers are eager to build the students confidence. Both of my children have grown from their sessions. its the best program with lots of great teachers that really know how to reach kids brains in a positive way.

Excellent Tutors!

My 10 year old child has attended the North Beverly Mathnasium once a week for the past year. We initially sent her there primarily because she was becoming frustrated with math and math homework was creating a lot of stress both for her and my husband and me (neither of us are very good at math). Also, though not as important necessarily, her MCAS math score the previous year had been in the middle of the proficient range, which was much lower than her ELA score. Im not a big fan of stanardized tests, but I thought there was likely a correlation between her frustration with math and her performance on the test. So, she started at Mathnasium in Oct. 2012. Within a couple of weeks, her attitude about math began to change. Math homework was no longer a painful experience. Now, a year later, we just received her new MCAS scores from the spring. She scored in the high advanced range, receiving almost a perfect score! There is no doubt in my mind that her dramatic improvement on the math MCAS, as well as her new attitude about math, are due 100% to Jim and his staff at Mathnasium. I cannot thank them enough. I highly recommend Mathnasium. We will continue to attend regularly, and when my younger child reaches 3rd or 4th grade, well be sending her there, too.

So far my daughter is really benefiting from Mathnasium. She enjoys the tutors and looks forward to going!
