Dr. Leviadin is amazing. Ive seen about 8 different therapists/psychiatrists over the years and for me hes been the best. I have mainly seen him as a therapist and I credit him with my growth into a more mature, thoughtful, responsible, and happy person. It has made a big difference in my relationship at home and at work.A few key points: He is a genuinely caring, loving person. He is an outstanding listener. He stays interested and has never even come close to dozing off in a session, not even once. He is very intelligent and remembers details of what Ive told him from years ago.He is NOT a pill pusher and is cautious and attentive with prescriptions. If you are looking for a automatic prescription machine in human form, I dont think he is it. He is very familiar with side effects and doesnt blame you if a medicine is not working as well as youd like.He is extremely reliable with appointments (Ive had some therapists that are constantly rescheduling you) and my appointments usually start within 5 minutes of the scheduled time. The waiting room is super nice and clean. I do wish he would take my insurance directly instead of me having to reimburse it. I wish he were closer to a metro stop or freeway but the parking across the street is free for 2 hours so at least theres that.Overall he has great insight and is really helpful. I recommend him highly.

He has a terrible personality, he is mean, he is very insensitive, and he has a lack of understanding with zero empathy towards his patient. He makes you feel very uncomfortable. I could not wait to leave his office. He made me feel very miserable about myself. I am not looking forward to go back to see him ever again.

Good luck getting an appointment! I was initially referred to Dr. David Leviadin in 2017 by my plastic surgeon, Dr. Mahsa Parviz, when I needed help coping with an unexpected cancer diagnosis and the fear that accompanied the risk of complications after general anesthesia. I was terrified that I might not survive after awful outcomes were projected by certain surgical oncologists and plastic surgeons that I consulted with before meeting Dr. Parviz. Dr. Leviadin had great bedside manners but I didn’t feel like it was the right fit, plus scheduling was very difficult. I was referred to another psychiatrist nearby with more availablity and I would suggest either of the two psychiatrists to my close friends. Dr. Leviadin was sharp and clearly well-trained, just hard to schedule an appointment with!

I met Dr. David Leviadin during the worst time of my life .I felt very depressed and I was struggling with simple things in life such as getting out of bed. I was referred to him through my one of psychologists. I really needed a change of treatment as cognitive therapy was not doing it for me.I immediately felt comfortable with him as he treated me like a real person not like just another customer. He spend time with me without looking at the clock and never made a point of running out of time as I am sure we did have extended sessions at times. When I would see him he made me feel as he has thought about my case and was recalling the previous points that had been discussed. He kept me involved with his treatment plan and explained his understanding and medication changes. His general approach to me made me look forward to his appointments.I highly recommend his practice. Every person has a different way of how they want to be treated. Dr. David Leviadin seemed to deliver what I needed and as the result I feel much better and my outlook towards life has improved much more. See for yourself, I am glad to have met him and appreciate what he has done for me for rest of my life.

I began seeing Dr. Leviadin approximately 3 years ago to address an acute battle with anxiety and depression. I was reluctant to take medications but was struggling with my diet, sleep, focus and just general ability to function. Dr. Leviadin was patient and slowly introduced the medications to me. He allowed me to ask as many questions as I can think of, and still does, about the medications so that I can feel prepared for the changes that it may cause to my body. My body is fairly sensitive to medications so I am prone to side effects. We changed the medications around to fit my needs (physically and emotionally) and as I got better, we took me off. Dr. Leviadin never kept me on medications longer than I needed to be. This was very important to me. I didnt want to become dependent. In conjunction with my work with him, he referred me to his sister for the talk therapy aspect. He recognized that her style of talk therapy would be more in line with what I needed and didnt hesitate to make the referral. I really respect that about him and their practice. They dont pretend to be something they are not. They genuinely care and want their patients to get better. With their help, my quality of life has improved significantly.
