The team at Pacific Coast Hearing Care made it very easy for me to get through the process of getting my hearing tested and discussing options for my long-time hearing loss. I dont know why I waited so long. Dr. Sweet is extremely professional and did a thorough job testing my hearing with high end technology and sat down and showed me where I had hearing loss and how that affected my life. She listened to my frustrations with situations where I simply couldnt join in with friends at restaurants, had trouble in meetings, and couldnt understand actors on TV and movies. She and I reviewed hearing aids and I ordered the pair that I felt fit my lifestyle the best. WHAT a difference! Wow, I had no idea that my neighborhood had so many birds in it! I can understand people now and participate in things I had put aside in my life. I love the iPhone app that allows me to control the level of hearing aid assistance and the presets for noisy restaurants and music and even tinnitus. So glad I came here - thanks to Dr. Sweet!

It is nerve racking to be told you have a hearing loss (called deaf by most) and have to get help. I found Dr. Sweet off of Yelp and just said a prayer she could help, because I had already spent three months wasted on another Doctor of Audiology not committed to my needs. I have been a professional actor, singer and musician for 18 years. Trying to learn to hear correctly after a lifetime of reading lips and turning everything way up has been one of the most difficult processes to dial in. Most importantly, you want a Doctor that can LISTEN critically and sometimes creatively service each patients individual needs. For a solid six months, Dr. Sweet worked with me as I sang in her office, played guitar, tried several different devices and constantly adjusted the levels as my brain adjusted to the new sound waves. Hearing correctly is a custom process and I was blessed to have a very patient master of her craft. Thank you Dr. Sweet for giving me my hearing back!Do not waste your time anywhere else, I sincerely recommend seeing Dr. Sweet for ALL of your hearing/audiology needs.

I took my mom here in February 2019. She has had hearing aids for two years but was never happy with them. Dr. Sharma was very kind and spent a lot of time with her. She determined that the hearing aids had not been properly made and did not fit properly. She remade the ear pieces and now my moms hearing is much better. I highly recommend that you see Dr. Sharma if you have a hearing problem.

I have been a patient at this office for the last couple of years - for ear cleaning and to get ear plugs made for surfing. Dr. Rothholtz in the ENT group is very knowledgable and helpful. I just saw Dr. Sharma for my recent visit and she was great at getting a replacement ear plug made for me.

I had an appt with Dr Sharma today and it was a very pleasant and informative experience. First off, scheduling a time was easy, and when I needed to reschedule, Gwen at the front desk was very flexible and communicative. The office is clean and comfortable, and I felt at ease with Dr Sharma right away. She was patient, answered all my questions, and had great advice for me too.Ultimately, I ordered a pair of fitted earplugs, and Dr Sharma loaned me a pair of hearing aids to try out, just to see if it’s helpful to me. I thought that was very kind of her, and showed the type of care and concern that one should be looking for in a provider.Overall, I am happy with the care I’ve received so far and I wouldn’t expect that review to change. When my musician friends ask me where to go, I will highly recommended Pacific Coast Hearing Care.
