I have used Granite twice. the first time 12 months ago was fine. I have just finished with them a 2nd time. the experience has been poor and left a bad taste in my mouth. Communication and service has been underwhelming and whilst in some areas they may have tried, there has been no consideration for the buyer/client. they could be too busy or perhaps not care. Im not sure, these are just assumptions based on the level of service, the paperwork prepared, the receptionists, not getting responses, the list goes on....there are plenty of other businesses whom probably want business more than this company at the moment.

Ive used with Granite Escrow services twice. The first time when I purchased my house and the second time when I sold my town house. Their service is excellent. Mark Mattes is the best and I cant emphasize enough how much attention he does give to his clients. He goes the extra mile, works late in order to get things done and on time. A very honest guy and truthful to his word. Thanks Mark, I really appreciate all your hard work during both instances!!

We’ve had a smooth transaction so far with Granite being accommodating and responsive over email. If I don’t update this review further it’s because the closing in just over a week went as planned!

Granite Escrow was the Escrow company chosen by our borrower for a purchase transaction. When it came time to settle the transaction they sent our office the incorrect amount of money. We let them know ASAP they shorted us $2,000. Having made a mistake, any professional company would have immediately done the following. 1. Sent a messenger from Beverly Hills to our offices 3 miles away. 2. Wire the money. 3. Federal express a check. Sadly, they decided to just put a check in the mail. As a result, the check arrived 4 days later. None of the brokers commission could be paid until all funds were in. Not a good situation & certainly not professional.

Very rushed, called to ask a few questions which you would think would be fine since there working on your escrow paperwork!!!!! They seemed bothered, rushed, unprofessional!! Simply rude. Also they sent out a notary which you would think would be knowledgeable and organized! Haha 0 stars

This company has violated our contract. They refuse to issue appropriate title insurance to me the buyer and my lender! Even though it was stated in the title report! They are underhanded to say the least. Be sure you read every document they send carefully, they will try to deceive you. This behavior is unprofessional at best.
