I’ve waited over an hour at the Bettendorf location 3xs now. Majority of the time the ladies at the register take their time. When you complain to the manager he doesn’t even assist on the 3rd register they have instead he sticks up for the employees being slackers not wanting to do there job.

Im a weekly USPS customer as I send packages for business; almost always Priority Mail. One feature of using Priority Mail service is the free use of packaging tape however I rarely take advantage of that service. On Monday I waited in line patiently with a Priority box. When I got to the counter I asked if the customer service person would place one strip of tape across the top of my box; I had already taped the bottom of the box and had one strip across the top. The customer service lady notified me that they no longer provide tape and that I would need to buy tape to use. Seeing that the line I had waited in was long, customer service offered no tape nor apologies for the inconvenience. There were also no Priority Mail labels at the kiosk and the outside Mail box was stuffed to capacity. The Asian lady who works as customer service is extremely rude.

My mail was put on hold because my box appeared to be full. Roughly a week after getting the note that was hand written on a piece of yellow legal pad paper that had been torn off and left in my mailbox. They have none of my mail they said the unit has been marked as vacant. I called later on to talk to a supervisor whom was extremely rude. She explained that I didnt pick my mail up frequently enough so they sent it back. She claimed I did not check my mail for over a month. I checked my mail last week and my W2s were in there which I told her. I also told her that on many occasions I have had packages left at my door which there is an on site package room. When I first moved in they refused to leave things at my door upon my request. I asked if she would please start my mail to be delivered again and she said if you tell me you will pick it up I will have delivery resumed that is by far the most childish response she could have given me as a SUPERVISOR! I asked her who her superior was and she would not answer me with their name and hung up on me. I called back and asked to speak to another supervisor and she said she was the only one there. I have never experienced such an unpleasant situation with a GOVERNMENT ORGANIZATION.

The employees are very nice, friendly, plus it’s a great rally clean big post office! They are really fast at getting customers in and out too! I’m so happy this is my nearest post office because it’s so beautiful inside and out! I love taking my packages there because they usually go out the same day too!

To the lady that denied my altered flate rate box, please look up Postal Bulletin Issue 22435 which states: If an FRE or FRB is presented at the office of mailing and the customer has manipulated or reconstructed it, the container is accepted using weight and zone — not the Flat Rate price. A customer is not required to repackage an item unless the contents are fragile and would be at risk of damage during processing and transit.I regret not remembering the reference when I was there but hopefully you see this.

Clean and well maintained facility and by far the nicest and most helpful postal workers youll ever hope to meet.

Phone line is always busy. Tried calling for several days to make a required appointment at the passport office and the phone line is always busy. Typical post office where nobody cares. Now you know where the phrase Good enough for Government work comes from.

I like this place, little slow but staff is so nice and have tons of patience to deal with customers..
