Mike B. did an awesome job installing everything, was super friendly and professional. Ive used Service Electric in the past and their services have been high quality. The only downside is that they have no competition on high speed wired internet in our area, so their rates are more than 2-3x what Ive paid in Mercer County for comparable speeds. Though its arguably worth it for not having to deal with the nightmare customer service Comcast/Xfinity offers.

Cannot ever get through to customer service.used my sign on info & was blocked. Cannot watch football on Sundays because Service Electric only provides it in Spanish! I am changing provider & suggest anyone who speaks English do the same

Tarrence was very polite and sweet. He placed foot covers over his feet before walking on my carpet. He also made sure the wifi worked in all rooms before leave. He is a very down to earth kind guy. I had made an appointment for cable installation from the street to our house. One week before the scheduled appointment, I received a phone call from installer Daniel Martisofski, who let me know that his afternoon appointment had canceled and that he was available to do our job that day if I was going to be at home. Daniel showed up right on time, was efficient and polite, and completed the job in about an hour, which was one week early for us. We have used Service Electric for about ten years now, and I have always been impressed by their customer service. As a smaller, regional service, their customer relations really make the difference.

So extremely disappointed. I initially scheduled an appt on September 3rd for a technician to come Saturday Sept 11th during the morning. On the day of, No technician showed nor any communication if he/she was running behind. After speaking to customer service, I was told that the tech was running behind and could maybe show later in the day. This was not an option as I planned my day around my appointment. Only option was to reschedule for the next available Saturday, today the 18th. Again, my appointment was scheduled for the morning hours and no technician has showed. No communication if anyone was coming. I have currently been on hold for over 25 minutes to speak to a representative with no answer. This is extremely unacceptable for having not one but two appointments and no technicians showing.Edit: After having waited for 45 minutes for a customer service rep to pick up the phone, one called me back stating that I supposedly live an area (Northampton) that does not offer specific times for technicians to show on Saturdays, that I am put into an overflow and a tech will show when one is available. Not one but two customer service reps who scheduled my appointments both scheduled and confirmed times between 8am and 12pm to which his response was that he can offer a supervisor to listen to those phone calls and potentially offer coaching those individuals who scheduled my appointment. I am so absolutely distrusted with this service.

I have just switched to Service Electric about a month ago. Our internet went off which was an Inconvenience because we are a smart house. I called on a Friday and the person I talked to was not helpful. I called Saturday morning and talked to a woman that was very pleasant and helpful. She had me scheduled for that day to come and fix the problem. Bill came out and figured out the problem and we were back online. He is very good at what he does and was very nice as well. Two weeks later he was out to fix one of our Tivos that was not working. He came in and replace our tivo and synced all of them together in a very short time. I hope we dont have any more problems but if we do then I hope Bill is our service man.

Weve had Service Electric for almost 3 years now & have had no issues!! The pricing doesnt increase some crazy amount like other cable companies. When the price does increase, {Was less than $5} I was properly informed.The coverage is great and RARELY goes down. {3 times in 3 years. And when it did happen, it was around the time people were forced to WFH due to Covid} This company is hands down the best!!! I highly recommend them!!

Have zero clue how this has 4.6 stars at the time of writing this cause they shouldn’t let me put it this way if you have anyyyyy other internet providers that you can take even if it’s a potato with two antennas sticking out of it you would still have more reliable internet then this company would like overpaying for 500 down speed and guess what the internet is down and having issues more then it’s working. I work third shift and every single night from 10pm till 7am the internet is completely out. So if you have problems customer service will help right? HA NOPE don’t waste your breath cause they just don’t wanna deal with you horrible horrible company

SE Tech Terrence came over, perfectly on time by the way, to help us set up our new internet, and he was very professional and friendly. We ran into a couple of obstacles with our router set up (we opted to buy our own instead of renting one) and even though it wasnt a SE router, he stayed and helped us make sure everything was up and running properly before he left!

He didnt clean up after himself (he drilled a hole through windowsill and left the dirt behind and left scrap wire) and he didnt confirm with customer if we wanted the password provided or changed to something we could actually remember.

If you depend on your service, Do Not depend on Service Electric. Three business days, no service, nothing but empty promises and loss of income. They only have repair techs 9-5 M-F!!! My world doesnt stop.....does yours? Think carefully before you trust this companys empty promises and lack of service.

Mark was fantastic!! He ran new lines in the house and we still had a problem so he went outside and replaced the 30+ year old line on the house and everything works great!! Please save the headache and look for a better provider for internet. Always having problems and when I call they just tell me to reboot my router. You pay way to much for mediocre quality. If you can get a different provider do so. This is the pioneer of s**t. Most problems happen on weekends when they have no one to contact. Hope this helps you all from making the same mistakes I did.

My apartment complex switched to RCN 2 weeks after I moved in and set up Service electric internet and basic cable. I received a voicemail from a service electric rep explaining that I didn’t have to switch and could keep my discounted rate. Awesome. A few months go by and my bill jumped almost $150 and when I called they said it’s because my apartment switched to RCN. I dropped to the lowest internet and dropped the cable (still more expensive than what I was previously paying) and the rep said I would only be charged for the internet ( about $70 rather than the $190 bill) and to return the cable box and claimed I had two but I only had one. The first cable box was issued nearly 4 years before I had even moved in! My due amount never changed so I didn’t pay yet and I ended up with a $220 bill due this month. I called and another rep told me it’s for unreturned equipment and again claiming that I had a second box. I try to explain but the rep kept cutting me off and was rude. She tells me I need to return the one I have and go in to explain that I don’t own the second one (still don’t know why they can’t just take it off the account considering I’ve only been a customer for 6 months and they know that). Try telling her that I literally work the same hours that the office is open so I can’t go in to speak to anyone but she continued to talk over me. Now I just spent the past 15 minutes on hold ( trying to see if someone could stay 10 minutes late for me to drop my box off and speak to someone) and then the closest office closed for the day and I finally hung up. I honestly have no clue what to do at this point and I’m about to just cancel my service completely, you guys make it literally impossible to deal with one simple issue that started with a lack of communication to your customer MONTHS ago.

Very rude. Called and just asked what apartment i was in and never identified himself. I also have a dog and he just kept walking in and out. Lucky he didnt get bit. If i let him in thats one thing you just dont walk in and out free willed with a dog in the home. As well as never informed me how to change passwords or names on wifi and thats all i got was wifi...smh Terrible service and rude
