They had a car posted on auto trader for 9 grand. When I called the dealership and spoke with the manger. He asked me what area I was from and proceeded to give me out the door price with sales tax. Which the car ended up coming out to be 14 grand. They had tacked on an extra 3,500 for life tome drivetrain and life time tires and that all their cars and the customer doesn’t get a say in if they want that are not. This is a scam and I would not recommend buying a car from here.

I was offered a discount and sent back to this location. They ordered my part and over night. I called in the morning they told me the part trucks just got there to call back in 15. I called in 20 the person who answered the telephone seemed extremely agitated, he said to. me “ just because another location tells you I will give you a discount doesn’t mean I am” “ they could have told u for free and I still won’t do that”. I bought a 2017 Ford Escape from here back in June and I regret it so much ! The back up came doesn’t even work ! The radio gets no channels! Also I’ve been having a issues with it and everytime they “look “ at it nothing is wrong well I went on a car ride with one of the service guys who said to me and the manager in the service department that he heard the noise and even said it was my intake valve! Then a couple days go bye and boom “nothing “ is wrong with it ! They supposedly sent it to Ford for the back up cam and they said they couldn’t figure it out which I’m sure is a lie ! Now I’ve been calling them for over a week !!! To get my oil changed ! And for a ticking noise coming from the engine bay ! But no one answers nor calls me back !! I’m very very upset and will never ever purchase a car from here again I’m to the point that either yous fix what is wrong with my car instead of saying nothings wrong or you give me a car for the same price as mine ! Because yous sold me a lemon !!!!

On march 27 2001 i bought a 2019 corvette from raceway...I saved my money for years so i could buy my retirement car ....well this dealer gave mea certfied screwing..they saw this 66 year old man coming../2019 corvette used with 22180 miles on it i drove it 666 miles now i cant drive it lucky i wasnt killed the front tire has cord coming threw..i call the dealer talked toEmilio Frace he told me i was burning rubber..i told him its the front tires..he told me its my problemif u buy a car there check tires..they state inspected it said it had 6/32..o really..iam calling the pa state inspection in harrisburg...they just slapped a sticker on it ..i could of been killed bad enough i have cancer...

“Genuine” bait and switch operation…..I called this dealership upon seeing a reasonable price for a vehicle online. Once I spoke with the sales manager he asked me my local sales tax rate to give me my “out the door” price. When he was done with his calculation, he gave me a price of $14,000+ on a $9900 vehicle.His reasoning for this markup was that every vehicle that they sell automatically gets a $3500 charge added to the sale for a lifetime drivetrain and lifetime tires package, irregardless if the customer wants this or not. Upon further investigation I was not able to find this information in the disclaimer on their website, (picture attached) I did however find mention of this in the description without any statements regarding this being “non negotiable” and the pricing information was buried in the “awards” section that no one ever reads. (picture attached) In addition, the pricing noted that the mandatory package only tallies up to $2,310 and not the $3500 the sales manager stated over the phone….. Scam!

I called to find out if a 2018 Nissan Rogue was still available and had my pre approval for the loan ready. They said it was available so I traveled over 50 miles to get it. When I got there they said something was wrong with the fan and they couldnt sell it right now. and proceeded to show me other cars. Then I said I will wait till the Nissan Rogue is fixed. They then told me it was sold. I ended up getting a Chevy Equinox that I was told had fog lights. no switch

We bought a used car from Raceway TWO MONTHS ago. The sales person (Marc) was great, however, we have been jerked around from minute one from the sales manager. First, we went in with cash in hand - and they had us wait there for four hours while they messed around with paperwork. Finally when they came over to do the paperwork, she didnt know what she was doing. When we finally left with the car, (with two issues they couldnt fix, so wed have to bring it back) we were definitely never going back. But worst of all - now TWO MONTHS later, no one can find any paperwork for the registration or title sent to the state by Raceway. No one answers the phone over there, no one calls back, this dealership is awful, and this is what gives used car dealerships a bad name. Never, ever go to Raceway Chevy.

The antiquated, 1980s car-lot, dishonest sales approach employed by Raceway toward me over two days last week leaves me thoroughly disappointed and disrespected.First, Denis gave me a ballpark number for a monthly payment of my perspective new truck. I figured, as with all negotiations that this was a starting point. After some informal discussion he agreed that the chances are great that with more formal negotiating the monthly would come down more to my liking. However, upon returning to the dealership, 4-year-old-daughter in tow, he proceeded to tell me that the payment was going to be about 50 a month more than we discussed the day previous. I wondered how this could be?Second, Denis gave me a trade-in quote for my truck yesterday that I was very content with, but upon returning for the deal, the offer went down 3,000 from the estimate the day before and way below what Kelly Blue Book and Edmunds say its worth. Third, Raceway Chevy was utterly unwilling to do any negotiating on their part! They offered me the 3,000 Chevy consumer credit, and my Educator or Costco discounts, but would not budge a dime from their profit margin. On a 64k truck. Here is a quote from Denis: If theres a day to do a deal, its today. But I do not understand what the deal was. What made today better than yesterday if Raceway was unwilling to work with me from their end.Finally, the most egregious. Upon trying to figure out the magically inserted 8k gap, Denis quickly read through a finance sheet that includes a mandatory 3,500 service package. Something he said is listed on their website, but I still cannot find anywhere. When I told him I didnt want said 3,500 package Denis said Thats instead of marking our tuck up over msrp and that the package was mandatory. Unfathomable to me.

10/10 recommend Denis! He got us out of an unreliable truck and into a nice family car with no issues. Best guy to work with!

I made an appointment to look at a used car that I was ready to purchase today. I arrived to find that my car was being test driven by a walk-in person with no appointment that arrived minutes before my appointment. Raceway Chevy didnt even have the courtesy to call me to let me know that this was happening while I was on my way to the dealership. The non-mask-wearing manager even told me that they got first preference because they got there first, even though I had an appointment. They suggested that I might consider waiting around for a price quote while the walk-in folks were actually buying the car. I was almost completely ignored for a while and then the manager got confrontational when I asked how much longer I would have to wait after being there for 1.5 hours. The car ended up selling to the folks that stole my spot. Why even make an appointment? Thank you Raceway Chevy, for wasting my time. Avoid.

Almost exactly 1 year ago I bought my first car, a 2014 Jeep Wrangler from this dealership. Probably the biggest regret of my life thus far. When I purchased the vehicle I took on a higher interest rate for the loan than I initially wanted to, which was OK because I didnt have much credit history and I was assured by the salesman that after 6 months I would be able to refinance. 6 months of perfect payment history and I call the bank and refinancing is unavailable without a buyout fromanother bank, and that I shouldve been warned by the initial salesman. I got swindled. On top of that, in the year that Ive owned the car it has needed a new battery (auto zone told me the dealership had cleaned up an old battery to make it look new), new wipers (whatever), and has had a myriad of issues one after the other. Spark plugs, ignition coils, valves, and now serious engine work are needed just for this thing to pass inspection. It doesnt even have 50k miles on it!! Buyer beware, because this dealership is a bunch of slimey salesman who will rip you off at every opportunity.

Overall, I was able to drive off the lot with a new vehicle that had my must-haves (AWD) and some wish list items (white, remote start & Apple Car Play) in my budget. I went home and told my family that if they were looking for a car, to go to Raceway. I would recommend them if interested in purchasing a vehicle. Excellent customer service. I would go there again if I was in search of another vehicle.

I just financed a gorgeous 2016 Hyundai Tuscon from here and I could not be happier with the entire process. I had been shopping onloine for about 2 weeks and this was one of the first dealerships I spoke with. After saving the car on one of my searches, Nicole called me to schedule a time to come in. I am an hour away so that was tough, however, she was friendly, professional, thorough in explaining warranties, family dealership, great staff,etc. I did not go to my appointment and actually looked at a dozen other dealerships until deciding to take a ride up there. I spoke with mike, one of the managers, who was honest and explained how I would be taken care of once I arrived. I drove up there and met Austin. Great guy! Straight to the point, no gimmicks, no bs, laid back, and most importantly, Austin and the team did everything to get me into that car at the lowest rate possible (considering my credit). When they say family Dealership this place is what they mean. Its been less than a week and I have already had as question in which they returned my call almost immediately and have sorted everything out. Best car buying experience and I had several bad ones in the last 2 weeks. I cant be happier with them as they got me into a beautiful car that I did not think I would get for that price.
