The staff was punctual, warm, and did a great job of proactively following up with me post procedure to ensure all of my needs were met and questions were answered. The surgery itself was low stress, and the results are exactly what was promised - all thanks to Dr. Lee-Llacer. I was initially on the fence about deciding whether to have transplant surgery at all but am 100% happy I did. Really, the results of the surgery have been a huge boost to my confidence and I’d encourage anyone looking to get some of their old hair back to go with this group, it is absolutely worth it.

I had the procedure done last year in July. Probably the best decision Ive made in a long time.I had a good amount of hair but noticed the thinning and receding was getting more advanced. I met with Dr Blumenthal and he was the reason I decided to proceed. First I watched his own procedure and saw the results. Secondly, he made me feel comfortable with the procedure and hinest about the entire procedure. My hair looks like it did in college now..I would recommend it to everyone interest!!

I have had a wonderful experience with Dr. Lee-Llacer and his staff. Everyone is very professional but also personable. Dr. Lee-Llacer explained everything about the procedure to include the “why” and the science behind it. We also had some very enjoyable conversations before and during the procedure. The procedure itself was smooth. About 1.5 weeks after, the recovery has been smooth as well. I will post again in a few months to year regarding results.

I had a hair transplant procedure done with Dr. Lee on 1/15/21 and the experience was better than I ever would’ve imagined. Dr. Lee and his assistants were all kind, accommodating, and professional, and did everything they could to make me as comfortable as possible. Every part of the procedure was explained clearly before being done, and nobody was bothered by me watching 15+ consecutive episodes of Jeopardy on the TV as they worked (a testament to their mental fortitude). The post-op instructions were simple and clear, and the team at the clinic follows up regularly to make sure you get the best results possible. I’m trying to think of a negative part of the experience, but I really have no complaints. Easy 5 stars, and I fully recommend Dr. Lee to anyone considering this kind of hair procedure.

I can’t begin to explain how happy I am that I finally got my transplant done. I’ve been thinking about doing it for probably 5 years now. After looking into some of the best places to get a transplant done in the greater DC area, I decided to go with Natural Transplants because of how well people spoke about them. After looking into the surgeons, Dr. Blumenthal’s name kept coming up for how good he was at his profession. I finally decided to take the leap after seeing my hair continue to fall out. I waited about 6 months to finally get an appointment with Dr. B because he is in high demand. Dr. B and his entire staff were all so friendly and explained the entire surgery step by step. It’s currently only the day after my procedure but I’m happy with how it looks so far. I would say if your on the fence, I say just go for it. Yesterday I got hair transplant. The doctor and staff were really nice and made me feel very comfortable. During the transplant I was able to watch movies and sleep. I’m excited to see my results. I would recommend them!One year later:The process- the year went by very fast. You were able to cover your hair with wigs and scarfs. I’m glad I got this procedure done during Covid lol. Dr. B made hisself available with any questions that I had during the entire process. They also assigned someone to you that you could ask questions to as well.Overall I’m very happy with my transplant. My hair dresser and I can definitely see a difference from where I started from. I no longer have to worry about if it’s windy would people see baldness. The transplant looks very natural. There are some areas I wish were fuller but from where I started I’m extremely happy. I’m glad that I did this. It was really worth every penny!! If anyone is suffering from baldness I would get this done.

When I decided to have a second hair transplant procedure (first was 2009 with Bosley) I wanted to find a facility that would provide a more personal experience. What a homerun I hit with Natural! From the first interaction I had with Dr B (Blumenthal) I was like “yep, this is it, I want this guy doing my procedure!” I work with physicians for a living in the OR and my customers could take lessons from Dr B on bedside manner, ability to easily explain what’s going to happen, and lastly, being a really nice and understanding person. The staff in his office was excellent! They do a lot of the heavy lifting; separating the follicles with precision, making sure you as the patient are doing well, and they are wonderful at this. I came in extremely nervous in the morning, but Dr. Lee and his team calmed me down easily. I was kept informed every step of the way. The process went smoothly. The only thing that was really very uncomfortable was the numbing injections. After that, you simply relax whilst the team is working. I listen to music, watched a movie, and even managed to complete outstanding office work on my laptop. I really felt that I was in good hands. After the procedure, I was given all necessary information and medications needed. I went home pretty happy. I didn’t have a lot of pain during the night and was only slightly swollen around my eyes, cause I kept using the ice packs to minimize the swelling. I received a call the next morning from Dr. Lee, just to see how I was doing and how I slept. This really made me feel special knowing that my doctor cared and was really concerned for my well-being. Dr Lee and the team, thank you for the good job. You guys were absolutely awesome. Keep up the good work 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿

I was pretty nervous going into this, as I had a pretty negative experience during a consultation at a different practice. Dr. Blumenthal was excellent, as was the rest of the team at Natural Transplants. They took their time identifying what goals I had for the procedure, what my history was, and continually checked in on me throughout the procedure itself. They made sure I was as comfortable as possible and it was nice to kick back with some Netflix and music while they worked. Very clean and aesthetic clinic, absolutely would do it again.

This is just my INITIAL review, it may and probably will change as my healing process continues and my growth journey begins****I had my procedure to repair areas of my hairline that a braider ripped out and wouldn’t grow back.Consultation: 5 starsMy consultation was conducted via FaceTime which was helpful since I was not near the office at the time of my consultation. The doctor explained how the procedure is done and what to expect, the healing process and what to do after the hair grows back. Afterwards he sent a personalized estimate for my procedure.Scheduling: 5 starsWhen I was finally ready to schedule my procedure, I called their office. They pulled up my estimate and I paid the deposit then chose my procedure date. Very easy.Procedure: 3 StarsMy procedure was performed on March 16, 2021 by Dr. Reynaldo Lee-Llacer II. First let me state that he was/is an amazing doctor. He took his time with the consultation and explaining the procedure and what to expect. He was quite enjoyable, pleasant, sympathetic, and understanding to what occurred and what I wanted. He explained the procedure and healing process again, what I could and could not do afterwards again, drew the outline of what my hairline would be and explained where and how much he would remove from the back.The numbing part was the most painful but after that I didn’t feel anything, I actually dozed off a couple of times in the middle of the procedure. I am a bit unhappy about how much he shaved in the back of my head, while the area shaved is dense, curly and will grow back, I do have finer hair with far looser curls below it at the very base of my neck and it is not able to conceal the shaved part when I pull my hair in a ponytail. This will NOT be everyones experience, if your hair is thicker and more dense at the nape then your experience will differ from my own. I am also unimpressed with the amount of hair transplanted. He ended up removing more from the back because he thought my hair was not as dense as it actually is and wanted to ensure that he removed enough to be able to address all the areas that I was concerned about(he told me before the procedure that he may have to do this and asked me if that would be okay). So he removed an additional 1cm of scalp and produced a total of a little over 3,000 grafts but only transplanted about 980 grafts or so I felt that removing the additional 1 cm was unnecessary and over 2,000 grafts were wasted HOWEVER, I am glad that he erred on the side of caution and grafted more than what he needed rather than not have enough to cover all the areas that needed to be addressed. Which leads me to my final point, there are areas that are spaced apart and basically look as if there was nothing done when there were more than enough grafts to address those areas. Hopefully it thickens otherwise I really feel like it was money down the drain. So I will have to get it done again (and pay for it according to them at a discount 😒🙄) The only small and miniscule issue is the hair is a bit asymmetry between the left and right sides although it is very hard to tell if that is due to the swelling so I really am not knocking the procedure in that regard.Even though I do not want to go through the procedure again, I feel completely comfortable and confident with Dr. Lee Lacers surgical skills and ability to address my areas of concern IF they still persist after the hair has grown in. I will update throughout my healing and growth process.

I had my hair transplant about a month ago, and my experience was amazing. The consultation (virtual) was straightforward and not-pushy at all, and I was able to get surgery scheduled with Dr. Lee-Llacer within a couple of months. He was even willing to have an additional call with me before surgery to answer additional questions that came to mind. Throughout these two calls, Dr. Lee-Llacer was incredibly patient, thorough, and very honest in answering my questions.The pre-op (and post-op) procedures they send ahead of time are very clear and easy to follow. On surgery day, it could not have gone smoother. Dr. Lee-Llacer helped me define my new hair line. He and the entire team were super nice, welcoming, thorough in explaining everything to me, and made the day honestly fun and enjoyable (as much as it could be). The other surgeon (Dr. Blumenthall) even came in to check on me a few times. That speaks volumes to the type of practice they run. As for the actual procedure, the anesthesia was a bit painful, but very bearable, and lasts less than 2 minutes. We played my favorite songs and tv shows and talked about random stuff all day...time flew by. I even got to order whatever I wanted from Chick-fil-A for lunch! Dr. Lee-Llacer and team were able to maximize how much hair would be transplanted and my scar is truly the size they described (if you were to draw a line on a piece of paper with a pen/pencil. The post-op instructions were super clear, and I was provided all of the needed materials and meds.The first two weeks after surgery were exactly as described, and Ive started working out again (slowly) with no issues. I elected to not have my hair in the balding area shaven for the procedure, and Dr. Lee-Llacer was able to work around that existing hair without thinning it out much more so that I can continue to style my hair as normal until the transplanted hair grows in. I am very excited to see my results in a few months.If youre on the fence about getting the procedure done, as I was, do not put it off for a year like I did. It could not have been more easy and painless. And the entire team (patient advisors, the doctors, and the techs) are outstanding people and are not trying to take your money and run like other places. He took the time to discuss my concerns, as well as, the desired outcome (or hairline) I preferred. It’s ok if you don’t know what you’d like, because he’ll provide recommendations as well.He’s very transparent/realistic and will discuss the possibilities of future treatments, if there isn’t enough donor hair available to cover your affected area(s) in one procedure; so there will be absolutely no surprises at the end of the day.Both Dr. Blumenthal and his team were very meticulous in caring for my hair; and also in ensuring I was taken care of throughout my visit. The entire visit was timed perfectly. I can not put in to words the level of satisfaction I felt during and after having undergone hair restoration provided by Dr. Reynaldo Lee-LLacer and his team Jeff, Kenza, and Zain. I had my hair transplant procedure done with Dr. Blumenthal located in the Maryland Natural Transplants clinic. Nervous as I was, I’m so glad I came to Dr. Blumenthal at Natural Transplants. I have have been to other doctors and companies in the past when I was shopping around for my best option, and they were no where near the service given at Natural Transplants. The other doctors I’ve seen at other companies rushed the interview, 5 minutes if I was lucky, and I felt rushed and pressured. Luckily the lousy company I was gonna have this procedure done by cancelled twice which, looking back, saved me money and a guaranteed waste of time. Dr. Blumenthal, from the first interview to surgery day was patient, understanding, and took his time in trying to understand what I wanted, which is a sign of a good doctor. The Surgery Techs at Natural Transplants are wonderful as well and were understanding and professional. So, I’ll be waiting for the results, but as of now, I’m happy with how this company treats its patients, the surgery, and gives you HONEST expectations.

I had a great experience with Natural Hair Transplants in Bethesda. Dr. Blumenthal did my initial consultation. He was very personable and was attentive to my expectations for the procedure. He was very easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable during our conversations.The scheduling coordinator called to discuss the variety of payment options and the appointment availability. The process was smooth and with every transaction there was a corresponding e-mail confirmation.Once I made my appointment and paid the deposit, there were emails sent To me describing the procedure details/what to expect. I found those very helpful and reassuring.Fast forward to procedure day. I met with Dr. B in the beginning of the appointment. He was very personable and answered all the questions I had. I felt very comfortable and at ease after our discussion. We talked about my expectations and he provided his expertise/input to what was possible. He drew on my head where the new hairline would be and what it would look like. I was blown away!! It looked better than expected and he really made me feel empowered/positive going into the procedure!They offered me Valium prior to procedure and explained to me the effects. After taking them I was more relaxed heading into the procedure.The technicians were very friendly and introduced themselves. They explained everything they were doing and always asked if I was okay. The worst part of the procedure was the injections into the scalp for the numbing medication, but that part only took a few minutes. After that, the procedure was completely painless. I actually fell asleep at one point during the procedure. It was a relaxed environment, with a comfortable chair, TV to watch Netflix or stream music, and comfortable room temperature.After the second portion of the procedure, we all took a break for lunch. The technicians placed an order for food and allowed me choose whatever I wanted. They gave me a choice of what restaurant to choose from in the beginning. The food made me feel satisfied & comfortable at this stage of the procedure. I felt ready for the final steps of the procedure.The last portion of the procedure went smoothly and Dr. B did the post procedure briefing. He went over all the details and made sure I understood everything. Between the emails, the pamphlet and his instructions I felt very comfortable to take care of myself. They gave me the option to fill my pain prescription in the adjacent building for a minimal co-pay. That was very convenient.Dr. B called me the next morning to check on me and ask me if I had any other questions. Look forward to sharing my progress and transformation!Overall 10/10 rating so far!

He is professional, patient, and honest about expectations for hair regrowth. They might look good but the owner is very sneaky and came off like a scammer. he told me 7,000 and than i called couple weeks after to see if any deals were gong on because of the covid 19. he said no deals but the price is now 9,000 only because the doctor changed his price. i told him i dont have 9,000. he than said ill gladly take the 7,000. couple months pass by and he called me to ask if i was still interested in the transplant. i told him yes. he said hes calling because by next year its going be 10,000. i asked why and he said because the rent went up. ( thats a lie) just the way he talks i know he takes advantage of wealthy white folks who dont know better. be careful you might be getting over charged or not giving you the full hair you deserve just so you can come back and spend more money. one review said that they are giving everyone the same hair line and i kinda agree to a certain extent. BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THEM!!

From the consultation and beyond, Dr. Blumenthal has been so helpful, professional, and just an overall pleasure to work with throughout my entire process. I have had two procedures done one in the Florida office and one in the Bethesda Maryland office and both experiences were top notch. The staff made the experience comfortable and relaxing. The results I have gotten have been amazing. The doctors are easily accessible and I felt in both cases they truly had my best interests in mind. I couldnt recommend them more. If you are considering a hair transplant you should definitely call them and talk to one of the physicians. They dont pressure you or try to sell you on anything. They are very knowledgable and set realistic expectations and in my case they exceeded my expectations.

I had my procedure on July 7th at the Maryland Office with Dr. Blumenthal and the staff was absolutely amazing. I walked in and was greeted by a staff member who explained how my day would go. I was then met with two doctors (Dr. Blumenthal included) who went over every detail of the procedure. A total of 7 members of their staff worked together to make my day easy going. For such a stressful and life changing procedure, the staff calmed me down and made me feel very comfortable. I won’t get into the Netflix watching and the fact that they fed me really good food (we already know this). After surgery I was given very detailed post op care that carried me through the night. The following day I went in the office and was seen by Dr. Blumenthal who checked my progress overnight. I left their office feeling confident that I received the best service possible. I must note that they do one patient per day which is superb. With that, you are guaranteed their full attention for the entire time you are there. I would highly recommend this practice.

I had my Hair Transplant procedure Yesterday 1-23-20 and couldn’t be happier with my experience. I had my procedure on Jan 23rd, 2020 with Dr. Blumenthal (Dr. B) at the Bethesda Clinic.Let me start off by saying this apt. was about 2 years in the making. I had originally made a date the year prior and had a consultation with Dr. Huebner to have my surgery done in FL. Due to some family issues I had to cancel the procedure and reschedule. I cannot say enough good things about the staff and owners at Natural Transplants. Not only did they allow me to cancel and reschedule almost a year later but they never once tried to take my deposit and run. They messaged me every couple months to see if a timed opened up that worked with my schedule. After more research and based on how busy my work schedule was I decided it would be best if I switched surgeons and had the procedure done somewhat more locally. That’s when I confirmed an apt. with Dr. B.-Day of Procedure-From the moment I stepped into the office that morning I felt at ease. Mind you this was the first time Dr. B had ever even spoken to me as all my prior consultations were with Dr. Huebner. The second he shook my hand he realized this and took the time to bring me back and really get an understanding for what I was hoping to achieve. He was very easy to talk to and personable. Not to mention he was 8 days out of having a hair transplant procedure done which really assured me that he was confident in the process enough to have it done on himself.After the consultation he brought me into the surgery room where the whole process started. After numbing I can attest that I was in zero pain for the duration of the procedure. I believe it took 5-6hrs total but it felt like 2. Little Bad Boys II on the TV made it fly by.After I was done they made sure to explain the aftercare especially for the next 14days, and I was on my way. I went back at day 12 to get my stitches removed which took 10 mins tops.-Following the Procedure-The next day I received a text from Dr. B asking me how I was doing and thanking me for trusting him with restoring my hairline.I have messaged him maybe 4-5 times since my procedure with updates and he responds every time within 24hrs usually within the hour. I’m a day shy of 5 months and I am more than happy with the growth and progress. I can’t thank Dr. B and his staff enough for what truly was a life changing procedure for me. I’m becoming less insecure about my hair by the day and I feel like a huge weight has truly been lifted off my shoulders.If you are on the fence about having this procedure done. I encourage you that the money spent is by far worth it. The scar in the back which was my biggest concern, can barely be found by my barber. Thank you again Natural Transplants. What a great experience!I had a great experience with Dr. Blumenthal and his staff at the Bethesda clinic. They made me feel great about the whole process since day one. Dr. Blumenthal answered all the questions I had and more. Very knowledgeable, detailed and meticulous Doctor. He takes the time to make sure that everything is done to perfection and that you are satisfied. He also follows up with you after the procedure to make sure everything is going well. He makes himself available at all times to answer questions that you may have before, during and after the procedure. The staff was very friendly and caring throughout the entire process. As a black woman with traction alopecia and a high hairline, it was a bit difficult finding a doctor with extensive experience transplanting black hair. I’m glad I found this office.

Dr. Blumenthal and his team are just awesome! I felt a little nervous going into my procedure, but all of that went away when I arrived at the office. Dr. B’s attention to detail confirmed that I chose the right clinic. The procedure itself was super easy, I even fell asleep at one point!

I came to Natural Transplants because of the experience and success they have with afro hair and traction alopecia. My personal experience went far better than I had anticipated.Dr Blumenthal sat and spoke with my husband and I and answered all our questions. He was thorough in drawing out my hairline and made sure I was happy before the process began.The numbing was the worst part, but it was tolerable with Valium on board which helped calmed my nerves. After that the process was relaxing enough I listened to music, watched Netflix, and even fell asleep for a good amount of time. The interaction with everyone was enjoyable and I’m very happy I made the decision to entrust Dr Blumenthal with my hair transplant. Looking forward to the coming months and can’t wait to see results!

It’s been a been a few days my doctor was Dr. Blumental, MD at Natural Hair Transplant at the Maryland office. Hey has a special team everyone is coordinated from the time I walked in the door! They treated me and my guest the same. The team was very friendly they made me feel comfortable and most importantly I feel like Dr. B made sure he gave me what I wanted. He made me comfortable picking out my hairline adjusting it as mini times as I wanted although I was surprised he wasn’t stingy lol with his time I feel he went above and beyond to assure I was happy. After the procedure he checked on me bright and early to make sure I was ok and allowed me to contact him anytime for any of my concerns thereafter. If your thinking about I’d say do call for a consultation it won’t hurt ..... I wished I did it when I initially thought about. Dr. B you and the team are awesome! Thanks for everything

Had my HT procedure done 12/13 with Dr. Blumenthal at their Maryland location. I was a little nervous at the begining but the whole team made me very comfortable and at ease. Dr. B answered all my questions and concerns very patiently and he discussed in detail about the procedure as well as the expectations.I could feel from the energy of the whole team that they were thoroughly enjoying what they were doing. The procedure went smoothly and was literally pain free. I was given clear post-op instructions and what to expect.Dr. B called me the next day after the procedure to check if I was doing fine and told to me to contact him anytime in case I had any concerns. I will be going back on 12/28 to remove my stitches. I am very excited to see my final results at the 1-year mark.
