Gregg not only couldnt fix my leaking washer, but said even if he could GEs policy is not to do a repair if the serial number was missing. How do I know where the flip the serial number is? Its only ever been worked on by GE in the past, so go figure.

My GE fridge broke down, so I scheduled a repair with GE. I asked the call center operator for the technician to call me an hour in advance, because I work an hour away from home, so I have enough time to get there. Even though their policy is to call 30 mins in advance, she said no problem. The technician of course called only 30 mins early, so we had to postpone the repair for Saturday. On Saturday, the repair was scheduled between 8 and 12:00. I waited at home for 4 hours, nobody showed up. When I called GE, they said the technician rescheduled the visit. Rescheduled? Without asking me, without calling me, without notifying me?!?!? I spent 4 hours waiting for him. I spent a week without a fridge and its 90F. And I was right next to both phones they have registered in my system, I didnt get any calls. I asked to talk to a supervisor and asked if they can schedule someone to come on the same day, they say no, we can send someone on Monday, the technician doesnt have any other repairs in your neighborhood, so he cannot come. Why is it my problem if he has or doesnt have any other repairs in my neighborhood?? He was scheduled to come, he needs to come. he cannot just cancel because Im the only person in that neighborhood that he is to visit. Or at least let me know in advance if he is cancelling/postponing the repair. How unprofessional is that!After talking to a supervisor, I ask to get a discount or some sort of compensation for spending 4 hours waiting, and having the second appointment cancelled. She gives me the number of customer support. I called the support. They say they cannot give me a discount on labor, only on parts, if any parts are necessary. If they are not, no discount. I ask how big of a discount on parts can you give me, Im sorry, I dont know until I know what part is necessary. So basically, I dont know if I will get a discount at all. But again, I decided to try GE one more time, and we rescheduled again for the following Saturday.On Friday before, I see a missed phone call from GE. I call them back and ask what the call was about, they said they dont know. I asked if the appointment for the next day is still on, because it occurred to me they might want to cancel it again, they assured me its not. So on Saturday, I waited again from 8:00 to 12:00, and NOBODY SHOWS UP! Again, I call the call center, and after spending another 30 mins on the line,as I do every time I call them, they inform me that the repair was again postponed (without anyone calling me and informing me) and they try to convince me that they called me but I did not answer the phone?! I was sitting right next to both of my phones for 4 hours, AGAIN!! NOBODY CALLED! I have my phone logs to prove this and I also called the day before, to reconfirm if the appointment was still on.This is the most freaking unprofessional company I have ever dealt with! 3 appointments cancelled without a notice!! Without an apology, and without offering any compensation!!Can you imagine what its like living without a fridge on 95C for 2 weeks? GE NEVER AGAIN!!Luckily, shortly after, i found a small local, super friendly company, that was able to solve my problem in 1 day, and the fridge works perfectly.

Phone number doesnt work. And by the way, I tried to 800 numbers for GE appliance repair, was told I would be connected, heard nothing on either.
