This is the second time I’ve used Aux. They are super easy to work with and reasonably priced. Both times I called and a technician was sent out same day/next morning for non-emergency issues. The dispatcher called 30-40 minutes in advance with the name of the technician and time of arrival. The technician was very professional. He wore a mask and shoe covers in the house. He checked everything, explained the problem, and gave me a price before performing any work. He had all of the parts needed on his truck. He worked quickly and left the work area cleaner than before he arrived. Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend this company.

I have been a member of the “always ready” plan for the past few years which is money I’ll never be able to get back. The previous 4 or 5 times I have had an appointment scheduled I have waited all day just to get a call near the end of business hours to reschedule. This is consistent whether the call has been for plumbing, HVAC, or electrical. To be fair, whenever a technician does actually make it out as scheduled they are professional and have satisfactorily repaired the issue. The problem seems to lie with whoever is in charge of scheduling. Hopefully they can get this resolved for future customers, but I certainly won’t be one.

AUX absolutely hands down gives the best customer service. Preston Kidd was fantastic today. Warm, caring friendly and extremely knowledgeable. It was a great experience.

I’m amending my previous review. They were courteous, etc., but my broken AC wasn’t fixed at all!!!! Now, my company is arriving in a few hours, and their bedrooms are unairconditioned!Living in Alabama, this is a major problem.A Senior Technician is supposed to be coming, but it’s 10:00 am, and no one is here yet. We’re leaving to pick them up at 2:30, so we won’t be here after that.Things look pretty bad right now. I’ll update when something happens.7/22/21Amending again. Aux was here this morning and fixed the problem. It shouldn’t have taken 2-3 trips to diagnose and fix, but it has finally been done.

They were able to come out the same day as my issue and get it fixed the very next morning. Nick educated us about the issue and gave different options for repairing. Fast, efficient, and professional service provided! If problems arise in the future, I will definitely call AUX!

This company is extremely unprofessional and has no urgency for providing their services. I have made 3 different appointments on 3 different days over 2 weeks now. I get put on the schedule only to be cancelled on all 3 times an hour before the work was supposed to be done. The job was very simple too; run an ethernet cable from my modem downstairs, to an office on my second floor. This is crucial for my job, as I am constantly connecting to servers around the state and need a stable wired connection to do so. I have been waiting around for 2 weeks on something that I am required to have for my job. This is unacceptable considering this information was conveyed to them and even acknowledged that it was time sensitive and important to get this done. I will never even attempt to use this service again and will strongly discourage anyone else considering them. 0/5 stars!!!

*EDIT* You will rarely find a company of this size to be perfect in all areas and this one is no exception. I will say, however, that despite a few complications along the way, the level of customer service shown by the company to remedy my grievances was exemplary and through those efforts they were able to regain my business and trust.At the end of the day, Id say the crew at AUX are amongst the good guys and I would likely recommend them over many, if not all, other similar companies.Thanks guys for making it right for me.

Our technician, Preston, was very professional and helpful. He presented us with all of the options available to repair our HVAC system so that we could make decisions on what would be best for us.

Communication is seriously lacking here. Out of the 8 servicemen that were sent to my house, Derrick is the only one who understood the problem and wanted to make it right. I had a unit replaced which took a crew of four more than 10 hours. They left the piping exposed (as the cover was on back order) and unattached to the wall. I was assured they would send someone out as soon as the parts arrived. After not hearing anything for over a month I called and they sent out Derrick. He and his manager agreed that the install was done poorly and left in an unacceptable condition for over a month. Another install team was sent out to fix the issues but didn’t understand the task (after explaining it multiple times) and did not address the major problems. Thankfully, Derrick came out and finished the job himself and it now looks great.

David did a great job, he installed a new outlet and was very professional. It was a little pricey for what was done, but had to have it done quickly. I would recommend this company to others

This weekend I came to visit my 81 year old mother who lost my father 2 years ago and is not mechanically savvy. I was reviewing the invoices for work done by Aux Home Services and appalled at how they are ripping her off. Keep in mind that she pays S199/year for the Always Ready Plan, so none of these numbers include anything but the part/service.1) Replaced Thermostat, no wiring involved $295 after 10% discount. Same unit on amazon $68.49.2) They replaced the Condensate Pump, installation consisted of plugging it in to the wall and sticking the hose through the existing hole in the wall (which he didnt replace the insulation around to keep bugs out). Charged her $561! Same model pump is $65 on amazon. At least the technician said he wouldnt charge her for the new hose!3) They found mold in the unit and installed an iWave air purifier for $1361. $388.95 on amazon. The bills are not itemized so I dont know how much for the labor of opening the unit and connecting the wires, but I think $972.05 is excessive.4) So after installing an air purifier for the mold, they didnt check the ducts or investigate cause of mold. Mom called them to check ducts and they found mold. $1447 for duct cleaning. Did not reduce the amount when he found he could not reach all the way down one run. This I dont have a point of reference for the price but I do know that the cost of 175 feet of brand new Insulated Flex duct runs about $350. And since they still didnt investigate the cause of the mold, when I used my bore camera to look 1 month later it is covered (Again/Still?). So that is truly $1447 completely wasted.So I have been on the phone 4x today requesting a call back from both the technician and a manager and nothing.So I figured out the problem in about an hour. FYI I work in healthcare, not HVAC. The dehumidifier in the basement was running but not extracting water (humidity 70%) and since my dad died, she keeps the thermostat at 78-79 rather than freezing like my dad liked, so the Heat Pump doesnt dehumidify enough. (Humidity 70%) It was actually more humid inside than out on a 90 degree day.I wasnt going to post reviews until I gave them a chance to tell me their side, but they will not talk to me. I see that they respond here so maybe this will work.Update: just did some reading on ionizing air purifiers, iWave uses this technology, doesnt even kill mold. The word mold is nowhere to be found on their website. UV lights are effective and would have been the appropriate choice.

I have recommended AUX to several neighbors after having an A/C and furnace replaced. They show up when they say they will, and do quality work.

I do not recommend this company for any service whatsoever. I paid $358 and received no paperwork detailing the charge or what was being paid for. I have called everyday since asking for an explanation or itemized receipt and have been told each time they would email it to me shortly but have yet to receive any such thing.

Mr. Billy is kind, courteous, and very knowledgeable about the services and concerns with our AC unit. I only use Aux!!!

Ive been on emergency heat since December 2020. The TXV valve has been replaced twice in that same year. The unit has 6 years left on the warranty. In January 2021 I physically went down to the office in Bessemer and talked to the manager in which he told me he had spoken to the manufacturer and the valve was a problem on different brands. February 2021 Ive called and spoke to different dispatchers to make appointments to get it fixed and asked if the part was in. 3 different appointments scheduled and ended with a call saying they didnt have the part or in the case of the appointment last Tuesday it was in Jackson Mississippi. Tomorrow is March 1st 2021 Im going to call again but calling 6 on your side or getting legal advice has become a option.

I guess theyre just trying to expand service, but they called three times to schedule a free check up, then called back and cancelled day-of. This year they stopped servicing rental properties, apparently. I had told them each time they called that Im renting my home out right now but theyre welcome to come by. This means I scheduled with the tenants for them to come by, only to be called at 1pm on that day to be told they wouldnt come out, ever.It was a big waste of my time and I just didnt appreciate how they handled it.

AUX showed up on time and was very knowledgeable about my system. I got a courtesy annual inspection of my ac system which was great. I apparently had a leak and some mold or at least black stuff growing in my unit. Could not determine what caused it but it caused water to be under my unit and that could lead to dangerous consumption of air. Water was cleaned up, a UV light was installed to help with whatever is growing, but the black stuff was not cleaned up. Hopefully the UV light does what he say it will do. Clean the unhealthy environment. This is a new unit I got about 3 years ago from AUX and every year it has issues. It cost over 10k and it has not been a pleasant experience. However, the technical was professional and knowledgeable about my repairs. A courtesy call cost me $599. But my air quality is better for it I hope.
