They were very friendly, we arranged the viewing easily via email before I had even arrived to the city, and the whole experience was great. The apartment was wonderful, in an excellent location, and reasonably priced.The whole team was very helpful, super responsive and always professional - even during the pandemic, which was not the easiest time for anyone. I truly have only good things to say about them and have already recommended them to friends. :)

I rented an unfurnished apartment from Berlin99 on a long-term contract. From the start the company was helpful and quick to respond. Everything was sorted very quickly and easily in terms of the contract.The apartment I rented was reasonably priced for the area and in good condition in terms of paint work, facilities etc. When there was a small issue with the fridge, they sent someone out to look at it that day for no charge.Crucially, they were extremely understanding and helpful when I had to unexpectedly end my contract early as a result of the pandemic. I would highly recommend Berlin99, definitely the least stressful renting experience I have ever had by a long stretch!

Easily the best and least stressful experience regarding housing in Berlin I have encountered (and I have encountered my fair share). The employees are knowledgeable, responsive, professional yet personal, and – in my opinion – compared to other companies and private renters bending over backwards in order to get stuff done and get stuff fixed. Especially as a non-native it is of great value that they have employees with an impeccable comprehension of English and German, making it less of hazard to understand German bureaucracies and making it able rent without problems. Can only recommend them.

I decided to come by and see what Berlin99 had to offer and by coincidence they had one studio that wasn’t put on the market yet but was free that suited me very well except for the fact that it was on the ground floor. Nevertheless I agreed to take it as I really liked it. The next day, after having slept another night on this idea I still wasn’t comfortable with living on the ground floor so I came by again and they accepted to cancel my contract. I really appreciated their flexibility and kindness. I would definitely have liked living in one of their properties and feel like they are a humane agency.

We have had a great experience so far with Berlin99. We are slightly new to Berlin and flat-search here was turning into a hellish experience. We finally found a flat through Berlin99 and our interactions with them have been great. Eliot was always available and responsive and Peter did a very thorough inspection of the flat when we signed the contract. There was a tiny issue with the fridge and he immediately sent a cleaner to take care of it before we settled in and the cleaner Ali was very kind and did a thorough cleaning of the kitchen. Overall, a wonderful service, friendly and helpful staff.

Berlin 99 is the best company if you need a furnished home in Berlin.Their home are beautiful and very well equipped. But the most important is that they are super friendly and always beside of you if there is any problem. I was living for 2 years in one of their apartment and i never felt that i am talking to my rental company but to a friend. I am really sad that i have to leave and lose this connection and service. I am very disappointed with this agency.They are unreliable.I contacted them because of friend of mine told me he was really happy with them.I was suppose to see a flat as they told me to meet on FridayI sent them an email saying the time that I was free... Friday arrived without an answer. I sent them 2 emails more... and still waiting for an answer...If you don’t think that I match with what the landlord ask or what you ask why you say that I can make a visit and than you guys didn’t even answer?????At least, be polite.

I can really only advise against this service. A tenant mediated by Berlin99 Property severely run down my apartment in two years through regular shisha smoking (nicotine deposits, odor nuisance). A broken television screen and floor destroyed by unreported water damage were also among the damage, to name just two of numerous points. The renovation that was then necessary was extremely expensive. In addition, the tenant owes us one months rent. I was left alone with all these costs and problems, Berlin99 Property no longer felt responsible after they had carried out the checkout of the tenant, which in their opinion went smoothly. I only found out about the rental debts incidentally. Lousy service!
