I needed a one piece bathing suit altered by the straps only, something simple. Just needed them taken in about 1 inch no more than two to make it a bit tighter at the top. I was overcharged for subpar work. This place had good reviews and a lot of ppl seem to go there for dress alterations. So I figured something like this wouldnt cost more than $10 and would be easy to do. I paid $20 and am appalled at the poor job that was done on my bathing suit. Its ruined, I would have been better off learning how to take in the straps myself. Extremely upset and out of $20.

My dress required a lot of intricate work done and it was very reasonably priced. The couple who owns this store are the absolute sweetest and make you feel welcome. I would recommend them to anyone! You won’t be disappointed!

I took this silver elaborate beaded and sequined gown which was a size 20, to Magic Alterations on a recommendation of a close friend, and they not only made the dress 5 sizes smaller, but they made it fit like a glove. It’s like the dress was made for me!! The owners were kind, sincere, and truthful about how much work and effort went into making it significantly smaller, but I trusted their work seeing all the different alterations they’d done for my friend. They did such an amazing job, I had them alter both of my daughters flower girl dresses, which were even more elaborate than mine! I haven’t been to a wedding in a very long time due to covid, so I haven’t worn my wedding suit in quite sometime. I tried it on a couple of days before the wedding and realized I needed it altered immediately. The 2 stores near me said they couldn’t alter my suit in time. Then I found magic alterations. They took my urgent request immediately, promised me it would be done before the wedding, and called me when it was finished. The results looked FANTASTIC. I bought my wedding dress from Jenna in White in February and took it to Magic Alterations mid-October for our December 30, 2019 wedding. They were so nice, and extremely efficient! I don’t think I spent more than 20 minutes in their shop, total. I only needed a hem on the under layers of my skirt and a 3-point bustle, which came out to $200 for my large ball gown. They had me get into my dress in a little dressing room then helped tie up the corset each time, which made me feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend working with them if you need any alterations work done!
