I donated $40 to this wonderful charity and bought $20 worth of freekah, zaatar and a “Free Palestine” face mask from them that I’m very happy with.

Meca for Peace has been helping children in the Middle East for a long time. They have an excellent record of bringing to light the needs of the children and then organizing to get the help to them that is needed. Their products are all made by artizens in Palestine and are lovely. They are a non-profit fair trade organization.

MECA has been fighting for the freedom of Palestine for decades, even as it has been an unpopular cause. Thank you MECA. This is a cause that is gravely underrepresented in the media and it is amazing that they are here doing this.

Despite the innocent-sounding name, this is nothing but a propaganda mill of rejectionist politics and anti-peace incitement. They spread distorted information to unweary members of the public. There is little evidence that any of their fundraising actually goes to help Palestinians, but rather it is used for political purposes designed to hurt Israel. This group has self-declared on their website allegiance to a movement, BDS, that has been described by many (e.g. Norman Finkelstein) as seeking the destruction of Israel.Rather than interacting with this organization, look up the facts for yourself.
