The photos show that the open area has high bar stools where your feet dangle in the air and lounge like environment. Maybe fine for reading a book but not for doing work on a computer.

Not only is the space fantastic, Cynthia, Star and Amanda, the community leaders, are incredible. They consistently go way above and beyond to, not just help with logistics, but also to make the environment a welcoming and fun place to be. Their genuine care and friendly smiles make it a pleasure to come to work!

Of all of the WeWork spaces that my company uses (from Boston, New York, Seattle) this one in Berkeley is hands down the best. Its unique interior designs gives you the artsy vibe that you need to feel awake and alive on any given day that you need to be productive. As per usual: the complimentary coffee, kombucha, and beer are all and always on point. But more importantly, what separates this WeWork space from the other is the vibe, culture and the hospitality of the staff. The positive tone is set from the moment you walk in! The welcoming smiles and eagerness to make you feel comfortable from staff like Lindsay, is honestly why i feel like everyone here is positive, which makes it my favorite Wework space to work from. Definitely consider!

Great place to work! Its just opposite of the Berkeley university campus, the atmosphere is very relaxed. The staff members are also very helpful and nice.

Amazing office space in the perfect downtown Berkeley location. The staff here are fantastic. The facilities are new and designed to maximize productivity - very fast and reliable wifi, plenty of phone booths, great meeting rooms with big screens.

Ive been to many WeWorks. Berkeley is my favorite. Granted, Im bias because its the closest to my house, but its also the entire building and so you are in the wework space the moment you enter the building. Also - I lost my keys down the elevator shaft (do not pass go, do not collect $200) and the Berkeley WeWork staff were super helpful and got the elevator company to come out and retrieve my keys.... saving me a BIG headache. There has historically been a lot of turnover for WeWork employees - but the current Berkeley staff is great (and in truth, there hasnt been a bad staff here yet).

There was a sexual harassment incident reported here and sadly WeWork has done nothing to resolve it. It is disappointing that the company has taken absolutely no action on this or to protect those who work here. Especially in our current era of #metoo, you would think WeWork would be proactive and take such incidents seriously! Be aware.

This place is really weird. Go for noodles around corner on shattuck.

Clean, well thought out place for working. Space is top notch, but rent is bit pricy especially when you consider (lack of) parking in the area.

Clean and friendly place, My son walked in with his service animal (pitbull) and no one batted a eye, everyone was respectful, courteous and friendly.
