The building is a blight on the neighborhood. Local residents dislike it. Part of the reason is it blocks the view of the Berkeley Hills, but also because of the noisy rooftop parties. Because it is taller than most buildings to the west, the sound from rooftop parties travels far. This makes the tenants of the building very unpopular with hard-working neighbors trying to get an early night. As for under-age drinking among well-heeled Asian students renting apartments there, we can only speculate, but there is a reasonable suspicion.

I like it better than other places I have been staying at and I enjoy it because I like the environment and the staff here. Theyre all nice people. And trying their best to help us.

The manager is unprofessional! I have been calling Edgar since the first week of June. Its now the month of July! It went from the assistants telling me that he was in and would return my calls within the hour, to hes in a meeting. But he still hasnt returned any of my calls! I have called 2 to 3 times a week. I have left several messages every single week and still nothing! I use to be able to access my application online but now it wont let me finish filling it out until I speak with the manager. But how am I supposed to do that when he wont even get on the phone? Clearly I know its because I qualify for a low income unit which theyre very strict on who they want to move in. Why lock me out of my application if its eligible for anyone to apply? What happen to being fair? I would rather Edgar tell me that he doesnt want to rent to me instead of avoiding me by ignoring my calls! Very unprofessional and rude!

Loved living at PB! Building is super nice and clean. My room had one of the best views of the Bay (Im gonna miss it sooo much!) and I was right on Telegraph! I dont know what I am going to do without my hot coffee on the roof deck, watching the nice foggy mornings :-(

Beautiful, Clean and extremely safe place to live. Nice and quiet walkable CVS, Petes Coffee on the corner and the views are breath taking. Edgar is very Kind and the rest of the management team has been so helpful and welcoming. Parking hasn’t been much of a problem either I suggest using the ParkMobile app it is a lifesaver all around this place is amazing and I would recommend highly!
