Had scheduled an appointment on 07/02/2021. Appt was for a Gentlemans scissor cut fade @ 830AM. Arrived at 820AM. When I arrived, barber said good morning and asked how he could help me. I said I had an appointment at 830AM. He asked me for my name and I gave it. He said ok, just take a seat and Ill be right with you as he was finishing up with a customer. There was another guy seated on a chair behind them but I paid no attention to it cause I had an appointment at 830AM. The customer on the chair was done, he stood up, paid the barber and went on his way. To my surprise, the guy seated behind the barber stood up and sat on the chair and the barber tells me, Ill be with you as soon as Im done with him (the guy seated behind them). I figured, well, #1, hes probably a friend and #2, hell probably do a quick one cause I HAD AN APPOINTMENT at 830AM and it was 835AM and I arrived on time (early in fact). In any case, I observed and he gave his friend a great fade an all that. But now, it was 847AM and my rule in life has always been, set an appointment when you want a service done so you dont waste anyones time. Wasting time usually aggravates someone; could be oneself or another but usually someone goes home unhappy. In this case it was me. I stood up and said Ill come back and the barber apologized. To be fair, he gave the guy a great fade. Could have been me going home with a nice fade. He gave the guy a great service. Could have been me but it wasnt. Anyway, there was no professionalism from this place. I set an appointment and It wasnt honored. Im not coming back and Im not referring this business to anyone.

This new barbershop looks sleek and has two amazing barbers. I happen to go to Aron, who has been cutting my hair for several years now. I followed him from his old place of employment to his own barbershop - The Arts of Fades. Aron gives a great cut and is genuinely the nicest guy you will meet. I cannot recommend him enough. I promise you will walk out happy. The price is right as well - only $25. So, for your next haircut go to this new amazing barbershop.

I’ve been going to Tony (shop owner) for a few years now. He’s extremely meticulous with detailing and has no hesitation in fixing something he may have missed. He’s kind, respectful, funny and his appreciation for his clients is unmatched. These traits keep me a loyal customer! I can only speak for myself but switching barbers is a headache, if you know what I mean. Go here!

Tony’s the best! I’ve been going to him since right around when he opened up and he’s put so much work into the place since then. Couldn’t see myself going to a different barber. Great conversation, always a good haircut, and priced very reasonably. All of the other barbers and stylists who now also work there are great as well. Overall a very friendly, comfortable environment.

Steven Yap is my Barber. My haircuts were always handled with great care and never felt rushed. He’s a professional and will make sure that you get what you requested. The other barbers are very kind and welcoming as well. The environment is comfortable and clean, I’m always satisfied with my visits.

After having my curly hair desecrated by all these north bergen barbers that only know how to do a pompadour or a buzz cut without the slightest idea as to what a shape up is, Tony blessed me with a hairline and fade that literally turned me into a mack daddy god with the ladies, changing my life. Great atmosphere and good barbers nice place to get a cut

First off, the haircut itself was extremely extremely well done, however, shortly after the haircut, I noticed an extremely painful burning sensation in the back of my head and when I finally took a look at it with a mirror, I saw that there was a huge red scar in the bottom of the back of my head where the fade started. It was extremely painful to sleep and it was swollen for the next 4-5 days and currently there’s a big black scar (around 3-5 inches) in the back of my head. I really really wanted to like the place but I really don’t know what to say after going through that bad experience. If anyone needs photos or anything for proof, just email me and I’m more than willing to show you.

I was visiting family in jersey and had to get a quick cut and I stopped in and got my Cut from a Young Lady named Cris she did a great Job and the price was very good I enjoyed the experience you won’t be disappointed!!
