I would avoid buying a new construction home through this company. We signed a contract for a house in Ashmore Landing in January with a 5k deposit. Weeks after we were scheduled to meet the listing agent Patrick and talk about the plan of the house etc. He was unwelcoming, seemed super uninterested with the changes we wanted to make and just a shady non personable guy. They told us we would close on the house in June. Around March they said our closing date would get pushed to August with no date to when they would break ground. This was the only time they talked to us since that first meet. We would ask here and there when they would break ground because we sold our home in February and were living in an apartment in the meantime. No response ever. June came around, they let our contract expire.. we asked how much more they wanted for the house because we liked the location and nothing. Couldn’t get a reply through Patrick on anything let alone a solid answer. Late June, we finally decided to give up and look for another home. We figured if they have been this horrible for months we didn’t want to work with them. My realtor found us a great, new construction home not far from that area. After we found our future home we still needed to get the old contract voided and our 5k deposit back. It wasn’t until I personally texted Patrick to give us our deposit back that he finally did. Now I know why he seemed so uninterested from the start, I’m sure they never planned to sell us the house. Save your family the stress from working with this guy.

Be careful while writing contract, make sure they (seller agent and builder) understand what is written in contract and what you want. If possible take printout of your new home plan and write what all changes you are requesting and ask builder and seller agent to sign on it. This way you do not see last minute surprises.
