I’ve been going to OGC since December 2021. I had just gotten out of the hospital and I needed to get in and see a dr and a counselor, for a med check. They are so nice there and they helped me get new insurance while I wait on my disability to get approved.

To start - This is absolutely not a review of the counselor my child saw. She was really great with him. This office however, has been atrocious. My child was seen from October until today when I officially cancelled future services. We struggled to receive any communication. In that time I have called twice to ask why we hadnt received any bills yet as my son was receiving school based counseling services. Both times I was told not to worry, and that we would receive a bill for our financial responsibility. Billing wise- this office is a nightmare. Im a medical billing and coding specialist, so I was easily able to see that I was being overcharged, but I feel for anyone who doesnt have that background knowledge. The bill stated I owed 20% of the full office billed amount for services, when I actually have a $35.00 copay for that service. Which you can clearly see by the visits my insurance had already processed. Even if I did owe a 20% coinsurance, that definitely isnt 20% of the total billed amount, it would be 20% of OGCs contracted amount with my insurance. Thankfully it got fixed, but only after I made it obvious I knew what I was talking about. Again, just makes me concerned for anyone else receiving their services that are just giving the benefit of the doubt when they get billed. Also, the reason this was the first bill we received was because it was addressed directly to my five year old son with his name spelled incorrectly and the mailing address was mistyped. The street number wasnt correct. It was a postal service fluke that it showed up this time. Now apart from the billing/administrative nightmare, this group just way overloads their counselors. Its made obvious by the extreme disconnect in communication when you attempt to get in contact with your provider. With my son receiving school based counseling, I never knew when or if he was being seen. What finally made me cancel services today is that weve been reaching out for weeks to try to schedule a conference at my sons school with his counselor and teacher, and after multiple calls to the office and multiple emails sent, only one was even responded to and we were told there was no availability and it would be best to communicate our concerns via email. Which we did, and never received a response. Its unfortunate that Ozark Guidance is the only place in our area that offers school based therapy, but my son needs more quality care than hes receiving here. I highly recommend looking elsewhere if youre in the same position.

I find them very helpful for the most part but they seem to have some mental illness themselves ( if I’m being honest ) still, I would recommend them. I have never worked with such a unique treatment team and I’ve been in therapy since I was 5 and in and out of inpatient facilities since I was 7. this is a very unique treatment team who are not perfect by any means but their hearts are invested in what they do. big thanks to the Bentonville OGC keep up the good work and of course there is always room for improvement.

Wish I could give zero stars. This place doesnt care about anything but money. They make you believe they can help and they do, when it comes to getting stabilized, however you cant pay they take it all away from you which is INSANE considering the rate of suicide constantly rising. The people at the front desk are the rudest people Ive ever met they act as if they are better than the patient and yalk to you like you are completely stupid and will roll their eyes right in your face. I go there to get help, to finally be heard, and all theyve done is cause me more grief. Worst place ever to get help you need unless of course you can pay everytime no fail. I would never recommend anyone needed help with substance abuse nor for mental health this is place will not help you in the slightest.

Dr. Salvador called me morbally obese when I first met her. I may be obese but not morbally. I asked her to increase my dosage to which she denied. So, I started trying to find a primary physician. The meds I take are NOT working and now I have to go through the holidays with panic attacks. I’ve been to the ER so much for these attacks soon I’ll go bankrupt. Time to get my medical records and find somewhere else. This is a joke. As I type this I’m having an attack. She cares nothing for you.

I see a therapist there & the have an adult day program that I attend on Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday. The group is Monday-Friday though. They are nice & can help if you have any stress, or mental illness, or trauma to work through.
