Great office staff and amazing maintenance team. The grounds are always well maintained. They always go out thier way to make sure things are getting done

I went by the office today and watched as Ashley interacted with several other residents. She greeted each of them with a warm smile and was quick with the answers to their questions. She is just one part of what has been a great experience in relocating from out of state. Everyone I have dealt with in the off ice has been extremely helpful. I am looking forward to joining this community.

Disgusting place for the price you pay you get treated like garbage! my kids cant play without maintenance staring at them oh but more worried not fixing the apartment and worried about telling every little thing that goes on including taking pictures of everyones home as well the worker Ashley lives across the street in the same apartment and walks around at night looking at vehicles and inside apartments taking pictures. The Property manager does the same enters the home when tenants are gone DO NOT RENT HERE!

Ashley in the office does an amazing job. She is friendly and very helpful to the residents. While I was in the office filling out an application, I witnessed her handle several of the residents come in with questions. She greeted each of them with a smile and a warm welcome. I enjoy living here. The staff are all very nice. The only reason I gave it a 3 is when I first moved in before the new owners took over I paid a pet fee even had a dog and there is no information about me having paid that fee and it makes my kids upset since my dog passed away they want a new one and we cant get one because they want us to pay the fee again

I have been in this complex for a year now and I love them! The private stairs, the kitchen island, W/D! There’s plenty of space between apartments unlike any other apartment I’ve been in. The on site amenities are phenomenal. Any time I’ve had an appliance issue the on site maintenance team have been at my door within 12 hours, a service I’ve never seen at another complex!

The office management is super nice, very helpful, the apartments are kept clean. Maintenance is on top of everything.

Ive been stay here stay for 3 years and I absolutely love it here and so does my kids. Its very convenient because of the schools that my kids attend. I love the whole lay out of the apartments. Everyone in the office is very nice and friendly.

Horrible place to rent from. Make sure to check reviews on other sites as well as Facebook. There are several people who have been treated unfairly with documenting to support the claims. One of the best property managements I dealt with. The people in the office are really helpful. At first I had a 6 months lease with Ashton height and then was looking to extend my lease for another 3 months. They considered my situation and were very flexible. No increase in rent even with a short term lease. I love the management (Nikki you are awesome) and the way that maintenance guys help residents. So friendly and helpful. Overall highly recommend this place to anyone in the area

DO NOT RENT HERE! Big mistake! They will tell you ANYTHING to get you to move-in such as oh, yes, its quiet here! The complex is 1 milefrom the Bentonville Municipal Airport. The planes start at 6:50 every morning. I have to try to sleep with earplugs .I finally got the dumpster company from coming anywhere between 6:00 to 6:30 by personally contacting the Mayors office. They make all kinds of rules and do not enforce any of them.For instance having to pick up after your dog. We are one of the very few who do. When I complained Ashley told me to take pictures!The latest fiasco was the installation of sun screens. Now, you do not know if its raining or sunny out. They have succeeded in making the apts. virtual tombs. This is a blatant violation of the over 25 page lease. NO WHERE in the lease did it state that sun screenswere going to be imstalled.Your vehicles are not safe. Many have been broken into and vandalized. No security patrol .Inspections every 3 mos? what is that about! Were the black sunscreens a ploy to just cover up the trashed blinds? This place has more problems than I can list. When things are so bad that you have to go to the Bentonville Mayors office to get things taken care of specifically enforcing the noise ordinance youve got a problem! Worse place Ive ever lived. Aggressive breed dogs running off leash and NO weight limit is extremely dangerous to small children and other smaller dogs as well.

Make sure to keep ALL documentation dealing with these people. Take it to state!! Trust me, you wont regret filing a complaint against this management company if you have moved in and they gave you issues. You have rights as a renter when it comes to some of the stuff the office manager has done. Especially when they cause distress. Nobody should live in fear.......If you leave a bad review, take a screenshot because they blocked my original LONG detailed review & made correctionson the propertybut I already had pictures Lol. Luckily I had it screenshotted and sent in with the investigation :) Do your homework people...

The Manager broke into our apartment without notice accusing us of having a medical marijuana card and stated if we had one then they needed a copy. Horrible experience property manager is rude! They break into your apartments even when you’re home asleep after working night shift! Property also doesn’t respect people’s medical issues that have their medical card and thinks they are all bad people and treats them bad! Wouldn’t recommend unless you want to deal with rude property managers and being discriminated against for you’re medical issues!!

The staff that works in the office will harass so residents and leave other residents alone. My opinion is that the office staff will favor one race over the rest.

Im an occupant on my friends lease. I have a service dog living with us and had complaints from other neighbors stating my service dog has beem in fights with other resident dogs. We keep our yard clean. She is always on time with rent. DO NOT RENT from here 1,000.00 a month plus $40.00 a month for water on top of that.

I love this apartment complex, the staff is super friendly and excited to help! The newly remodeled clubhouse is super nice, I love the bright orange accents!Also, my new remodeled unit is super nice, the granite countertops are a nice touch. Also, I hear a dog park is coming soon!! Can’t wait!

We havent been over here in a couple years. Since coming to visit my friends you can really tell the difference. The property is cleaner, the vibe is better over all. We actually felt safe. We are looking at moving here now! We are very happy!

Me and my wife came by a couple days ago. COVID has been rough on all of us. Weve been looking for a new home for months now. Ashley was such a big help. She couldnt go inside of the apartment with us but she stood outside and answered any questions we had, and trust me it was freezing outside, we felt so bad. We loved the apartment and when we get ready to move we will be back. Thank you!

Very disappointed from the apartments is not light bulbs only 3 light bulbs bathroom, living room and kitchen electric bill over $200 they said we consuming electric this is wrong my kid going to school 5 days I work 6 days how Im consuming a lot we not really at home. The people from the office very rude I have a lot to said I hope corporation from this apartments contact me so I can explain but unfortunately is nothing happening , if you reading this comment because you want to live here find a different place if you are one of the corporative person pls. teach you personal from office to treat tenant like a person because for the money we paying for rent, they have a job.

I read the reviews, the good and the bad. I also talked to people who live on property (friends). We decided to give it a try. We were very impressed with the way the office handled our lease in. They made sure we got exactly what we wanted and was when we needed to move in. Our neighbors are great! Weve met nothing but smiling faces around here. Our neighbors said the property was ran poorly at one time, but has stepped their game up with new people in the office. I had to come on here and write this to inform everyone that the reviews you see on here are no longer valid. We LOVE it here! #happyhome

The people here have been nothing but nice since we moved in a couple months ago. Ive waited to write this review so I could really see what it was about over time. An all I can say is how impressed I am with every thing. The office staff is great. Ive met all of them and they are all so nice and seem generally concerned if something is wrong and its taken care of right away. This place is nothing like the reviews say anymore. Im glad we took a chance.

The review below from two months ago is not very accurate. We have been here for over two years and have had a pretty good experience. We are personal friends with the maintenance guy who has been here for 9 years. He is definitely not overweight at all-their used to be a gentleman that worked here that was maybe in the 200s range but to my knowledge he was let go a while ago-havent seen him in about 4 or 5 months. Right now, there is only one person doing maintenance. I have never had an issue getting anything fixed-the longest I have had to wait for anything has been 3 days. If you dont do drugs, youre not involved with the wrong people, and you pay your rent on time, then your experience is wonderful. As it would be with any place. Our neighbors are really good people and they have become like family for us. The cops do go to the building behind us quite a bit but we never have a problem and its usually pretty quiet. This is a large complex and it is definitely difficult to run but the staff do a pretty good job and they are always really friendly. Usually bad reviews come from people who arent doing their part to be good tenants or they are people who expect everything to be dropped just for them. We have always stayed in communication with the manager, the maintenance, and the staff and have not had a single issue.

I’m pretty disappointed. I had high hopes. The place is safer than the reviews make it seem hence the extra star I have given them. There are no lights or fans. You will need lamps. If you plan on sleeping in don’t. There are games that go on and you can hear loud music and buzzers going off by 7:30 am. The place is in a higher price range than it’s worth. I regret my decision. The only plus side is that it’s safer than what is depicted. The managers don’t seem that bad either. I’m not happy about the place I got.

This place is a trashy dump. Kids running around with no adult supervision. The maintenance men think there security guards. The office claims the police are never here. Thats a lie. They also state that if a repair needs attention during the business week it will be seen in 24 hrs. Also a lie. There are roaches and the carpets are beyond cleaning. They should evict and demolish. And rebuild something that truly is a a great place to live. Also found out that all of the office staff are methamphetamine users. They use vacant apartments for personal use. Used hypodermic needles on the play ground.

Used to be called the commons. The apartments look decent, but if you look closer, they are infested or moldy and management wont do anything about it. Maintenance is an absolute JOKE.

I am a single mother. I’ve lived here for going on 2 years and thought it would get better when the new owners and management took over. I was wrong. They are cold and insensitive. This is not a community. I was almost kicked out for he said she said. Remind you there was no validity in the statement made. I have paid my rent on time aside from two months the first being when I was very short on money due to family issues and I was only a few days late. The other being this past week when I worked three 13 hour days the days they were open and I didn’t wanna put it in the drop box on the weekend so I waited till Monday and because I was one day over my grace period they are taking 79$ of what little money I have for my daughter and I to live on. When I explained why it was late they treated me like the trash they threw away at lunch.

The rent Ashton Heights charges is outrageous compared to the quality of living they offer. Their appliances are not energy efficient, so the energy bills run higher there. There are much nicer, and more affordable places in Bentonville to rent.

Rude management, no light fixtures or screens on the windows. Lots of broken or barely working appliances, my apartment had fleas from previous tenants when I moved in. Juvenile deliquents running wild with no adult supervision. Maintenance guys that think they are security and will stalk and harass you. Dont waste your time or money on this dump!

The staff has been nice to us. Anytime we have had issues in our apartment they have gotten to it and fixed the issue. It was a little rough when we first got here but probably because it was new management so it took time to adjust.

I like living here at Ashton Heights, I just have a complaint about the neighbors that live above me, they are too loud with running or stumping across the floors, mainly at night & running up/down their stairs we have ask them to be a little more quiet & it seems they have gotten louder. Over all things are cleaner on the grounds & if something goes wrong it does get looked at & then fixed. I love it here.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The management is very disorganized and rude. Every time I go to pay rent they get snooty saying “leave it in the drop box” and I refuse because I always want a receipt. Yesterday proved why I do!! I got an eviction notice saying I had 3 days to move out of the apartment for not paying rent and that I would owe them $654+. I ALWAYS PAY RENT ON TIME. Luckily I had a receipt from them showing I paid!! They keep saying they couldn’t find the money order and blah blah blah. Finally after 10 minutes of waiting they found it. This is the second time I’ve had an issue with them and we will not be renewing our lease. Wonder how many other peoples rent they “lose”. We do not bother any of our neighbors and mind our own business, so the treatment is outrageous. Mind you this place had a 4.2 rating before we moved in. Take your money elsewhere.

Your Issue Will Never be ResolvedMy air conditioner has been leaking since before I moved in. Literally, as I was moving in, my downstairs neighbors were moving out and told me about the leak. Maintenance has fixed it more times than I care to count. Last summer, I simply didnt run my air conditioner. Either it would leak all over my floor, or it was so humid that after a few hours, a 3 - 4 inch layer of ice was built up on the a/c so that it wasnt cooling the air it was blowing, anymore. By the way, the only issue is that the drain line is clogged. This summer has been hotter. I have tried to explain to management what the issue is, but they dont want to hear it; they just want maintenance to continue to treat the symptoms, not the problem. I guess you just cant fix stupid. Or the air conditioning drain line.

Lived here for 5 and a half years when it was The Bentonville Commons before Ashton Heights bought it out.Right off the bat they put a bad taste in my mouth by coming in and out of my apartment half a dozen times for various reasons.They immediately started with redoing the roofs here. I work nights so yeah that was fun. Theyve raised the rent by more than Ive ever seen it increase before. Over 500 a month for a one bedroom?? You can own a home for cheaper than that a month. And thats precisely what Im doing in about 3 mo ths when my lease is up.Speaking of leases. I wanted out of my lease. I signed a lease with Bentonville Commons NOT Ashton Heights but they wanted me to shell out a thousand bucks.Since theyve taken over, theyve added all kinds of new and dumb rules. You cant walk your dog through your neighborhood (give a year, theyll end up banning pets altogether. Id bet my top dollar on that) you cant have anything on your patio. I have a bicycle and they expect me to carry that thing up and down the stairs into and out of my apartment when I want to use it? You cant have any plants or flowers or anything nice like either.The Bentonville Commons was a good stepping stone for me because it use to be specifically for low income housing. Ive got a really good job and Im buying a house this year, but its still sad because it really feels like Ashton Heights is trying upscale the place to the point of driving the oh so low and deplorable poor people out. Thats just an opinion, but thats what it feels like.Dont move here. The new owners are not worth dealing with.

I visited a very close friend living on Falcon Lane in November and December 2016. Although disabled and a single mom, she tries very hard to make her apartment liveable.The maintenance is nearly nonexistent. There has been no hot water in the kitchen for quite some time; there are large gaps around the entry door and the windows. She pointed out out an area on her unit where the siding was torn off during a storm several months ago exposing the insulation; to date this has not repaired. She has told me many times that maintenence is very slipshod and spotty; the overall outside appearance of the units is shabby. In addition, her rent was recently increased when new ownership took over. I just got word from her that she and a few others have received eviction notices. Bentonville Commons appears to be nothing more than a money grab by a group of slumlords who just want profit without putting anything back into the business. I would give negative stars if possible.

I live at Ashton Height right now the management thinks they are worthe a million dollars they are rude,snoody, hateful. They inform me thàt they were not renewing my lease reason I dont know why. I have lived here 3years payed my rent on time never disturbed the people a round me. I am on disability I guess l dont have enough money for the ladys in the office. Do Not move here it sucks 😣 .

For the comment below. I always pay my rent on time we dont bother anyone but we have been telling the office ppl to have the maintance guy come and check out the apt to fix my sink. Every time we go pay rent we remind them but its been over a yr since they havent came by. Im fed up. I dont like pestering anybody but isnt that their job?

The management is rude and hateful they always hang up on people. From what I can gather they are ok with illegal drug use on property. We have made several complaints to management about the smell of weed coming into our apartment from the adjoining apartment and nothing gets done. My kids arent allowed to play outside cause they either have to dodge piles of dog feces in our yard from other tenants that arent responsible pet owners or the neighbor complaining my kids are loud. ( this same neighbor is the one who allows teenage kids to smoke pot in her apartment all hours of the night) This complex is a joke. Your allowed 2 parking spaces per licensed driver yet I have to pay storage outside my home to park my recreational vehicle. 3 days this month we have went without water, 2 days of which was giving no notice. Ive called and tried tried to get a hold of property owner from MANAGEMENT and they told me I wasnt allowed to have that information, probably cause they want to keep their job. DO NOT SIGN A LEASE HERE. Youll be ready to move the first month.Not to mention we called the law to deal with the illegal drug use and because we did that the neighbor who is guilty of this keeps trying to make false complaints of our children to get us evicted and it has been explained to management yet nothing is being done about it we warned with the eviction while they allow them to continue the illegal drugs so pretty much if you try to do whats right and turn in illegal drug use management will allow retaliation and you will go instead of the law breaker its not a place for children I have a 5 month baby girl being exposed to the illegal drugs because they wont do anything!!!!

This is one of the wost places to live. Please dont live here. Most parents let children run wild all hours. The walls are thin. At 5 this morning I heard my neighbors upstairs having relations for over a hour. They have replaced Jenifer at the office which is a start. Jason is nice but only pretends to do things. The only person that does anything in the office is Jessica (yessica), she is nice. There is a dog by my place that is huge and never is on a leash. We let Jason know about it and when he went over to talk to the guy about it, the dog was off the leash outside and Jason just petted him and talked with the guy....nothing was fixed. And he never picks up after his dog. The maintenance people are horrible. It takes forever to get anything fixed around here. The woman on the golf cart is nice but the other two...I have no idea what their problem is. I know that this is a income requirement complex but you think that people could keep their place up. There is police outside down the street all the time for whatever problems. Drugs Im guessing or domestic violence. There are a few nice people that we know and talk to but the majority of them are not. If you want good influences for your kids, stay away from here. We moved here because we needed an affordable place to live quick that would take both dogs. Their pet policy is great. Security people are nice. We dont have problems with other people because we keep to ourselves but we dont allow our daughter to go out by herself. People drive way too fast and children are mean around here. Screaming a lot, everything you can think of. Oh, and the bugs. We are clean freaks and roaches are a huge problem here. They are for most folks around here. We have to take care of them ourselves because this place has sorry pest control. The office people even said that we just need to do something about it ourselves. I know that you have bugs when you live in an apartment. But I also expect the management to actually try to get rid of them. Borax on the island only once in a blue moon will NOT keep them away. We have spent a lot of effort keeping them away. The office just says they will put us on the list for anything that needs taken care of and it normally takes a least a week. Our fridge was fixed twice and it took two weeks. He fixed it when we were not here and it didnt do anything to help. He told us to just change the thermostat only after us checking with the office to see if he had come then he decided to pipe up and tell us what he thought the problem was and to wait a couple days to see if it fixed it. It didnt. We called again to tell him that it wasnt fixed. And he came when we were home this time and ended up having to change the thermostat because the one we had was wrong for our fridge. You think that he would have noticed that the first time. It took about 5 hours for the fridge to do what it is supposed to after he left, not 2 days like he said the first time. That whole time we couldnt even keep milk in the fridge for the baby. He knows nothing. The dryer was broken for two weeks and the same story. He had to come twice and we only got him to come twice because to complained to Jason and the guy came right over...and poof it worked. Things like that are normal around here. A/C went out in the summer. You think that would have been on a high priority, no. Took forever. Days. I could give you lots of examples. Maintenance needs fired and hire someone else. We are still waiting on the new window screen he hasnt brought in 8 months. We cant wait to get out of here. No way in heck would we renew a lease. We found a place that we already have lined up when our lease is up. Dont move here.

Pesimo service ... and continue to increase the rent by competing with apt around him, they are new. When they are not worth 2centavos. I have been living here for less than 5 years and have changed administration 5 times. I report things and take the world to come fix. I have the damaged a / c cooled when it wants and it freezes and they come to see and as there is no one they say they worked but it is not like that I know if they check it or not. Example today Saturday my house is at 80 degrees temp with 2 children I have and they say that I came. On the outside all broken and dirty. Do not compete with places that have their apt and surroundings at the level of the rent that the tenant pays. In a week in my street 6 people moved. This has to stop.
