We had an after hours need. We had someone at our house in under an hour. Every employee from start to finish was kind and professional, which is something lacking at many other places. We were given a quote and once everything was finished, they realized they could save us money on certain items and gave us a cheaper rate. Overall, one of the best customer service we have experienced in a long time. Highly recommend

I recently had Jims Old Fashion Service repair my American Standard AC unit and they did such a good job. They went above and beyond to work with my warranty to make sure I could get reimbursed after the fact (most companies wont do this) and even though it was a bit more difficult for them they were very professional the entire time. They were friendly, they were as fast as they could be given the wait for parts in the high demand time were in. I would use them again and recommend them to anybody. Great job!

We have used Jims Old Fashion for the past few year. They have been prompt with service calls and always been more than fair on their charges. Their service technicians are always very pleasant and professional. We had them install our unit, American Standard with the service and quality of the unit very good.

Air conditioner stop working. Called Jim’s 5 time. Left 3 messages. Wife I find out later also called them a couple times. No response either. Website shows they are open. Wasted a morning trying to secure service. Finally called Paschel. They answered immediately and is sending someone out today. Yeah for Paschel!

Summary: Good admin staff, will get parts quick for you in emergency, but service techs dont catch issues or even install items properly! COULD HAVE BURNED OUR HOUSE DOWN because of faulty wiring they attached!! I should sue them, but too many a-holes have worked on this heater to prove anything in court, but Ill always know and Ill NEVER recommend Jims!We called Jims because they had done the work on the HVAC unit for the previous owner (NOT EVEN A FEW MONTHS EARLIER). Issue was as follows: heating unit stopped working after a weekend of running 24hrs a day and not blowing any warm air (in the negative degree days of this past winter).They found the fan unit had blown (blower and capacitor). Downside was that the part was out of stock and shipping was going to take 5 days. They were able to expedite it and get it in 2 days! Good news right... so far... but wait.They replaced the parts, got us back up and running and checked the rest of the system for operation (Freon, thermostat, etc). OR SO THEY SAID!The system was back up and running, however, within a week or so we noticed the unit was still not pushing much heat through the vents. It would blow air, but most the air was cool to warm, not warm or hot.Thats when we called our warranty company to send someone else. The next person found that the Freon was SUPER LOW and he put in a leak fix and refilled the system. He then replaced our thermostat, claiming it wasnt operating properly. So already, we knew Jims did us wrong!It gets worse... less then a WEEK later, we were back to getting almost no warm air out of ducts, just coolish air. So, we went back to the warranty company and asked for someone else. They came out and found the wiring from the fan unit (that Jims replaced) was super bad (pics proved it) and had to be cut and rewired. THIS COULD HAVE BURNED OUR HOUSE DOWN!! WTH!!?? They also took pictures of the inside of the unit and said its about 3 years worth of mouse bedding in there; which Jims should have seen and cleaned out because its obviously a hazard. This company (Air of Ozarks btw) ALSO went out of their way to look at our entire system for us, including vents run etc. They acknowledged what NO ONE ELSE did, our system is WAY TOO SMALL for the house and will never be efficient. They said the vents are run wrong and he was able to properly guess the rooms that run cold and hot. I was blown away by Air of Ozarks and their professionalism.I will always recommend Air of Ozarks. I will NEVER recommend Jims!! They are are bad as the guy that sold us this house, some lacking flipper!

I recently had a heat pump motor installed and was so undeniably impressed with the prompt, exemplary service along with the cordial, accomodating nature of installers! Jim himself is long gone, but these young guys keep the old fashioned service going strong. (Note - this company has changed hands a couple of times since Jim, and some of the old, negative reviews below apply to earlier ownership.) I could elaborate on any of these, but to summarize:- I feel like their youth is actually an advantage; they are hungry and will take on anything; if they dont know, they not only will find out, the WANT to find out- Prompt; if they are late, they call well ahead to let you know whats going on; more often than not, they are early (but still call to make sure its OK)- Polite - I never feel like they are rushing me; they dont mind me watching their every step, explain whats going on, happy to hear my dumb military war stories, and get the job done.- Available - There are more than 1 or 2 guys, so Ive never had to wait more than a day or 2 for service; others usually schedule me 4-10 days out. When I call, they call take the call or call back promptly (this alone is gold!)- Local - I love that they work in, live in, and know Bella Vista inside and out.Give them a try - they WORK for you.

My fiance called them for an a/c repair but no one answered, so she left a message. This place never bothered to call back. If they were too busy to do the job, someone at least could have called to let us know. Being completely unresponsive is unprofessional.

Furnace malfunctioned over the weekend. It wasnt long after speaking with the technician on the phone that he arrived. The technician was was extremely friendly and courteous as well as very knowledgeable. The furnace was working again in short order. We have used Jims Old Fashion Service in the past for Air Conditioning repairs and have always been very satisfied with the service. We highly recommend Jims Old Fashion Service!

On July 20th you sent two service men out to a house which I had just purchased. Your service man found a broken wire going to the compositor and then replaced the capacitor without check the old capacitor to see if it even worked. I was charged $282.91. You charge me $181.95 for a capacitor that shouldnt have cost over $30.00. You company is as dishonest as they come and should not be in business, and Im going to make sure everyone I can knows it, starting with the water department employee who recommended you to me. Im mad as hell and you havent heard the last of this.

Disappointed I could not give a 0 star review. Technician came out to my house and charged me $86 dollars for an estimate to repair my HVAC system - and called it a service call. I was quoted a price on site. When I dealt with the incredibly rude woman that answers the phone, she informed me the quote was higher and that I had to pay before they would perform the work. This didnt seem right at all, pay a higher quote ahead of time? When I asked if she could explain the difference in quote she rudely responded: If you dont want us to do your work you can find someone else.Gladly, in an era where the greater Bentonville area has several choices in HVAC, I chose someone else and my money will go elsewhere. Please do not make the mistake of giving this horrible establishment you business.
