They have stalked my dog and finally caught her. Had to pay to get her out of doggie jail. $70.00! They park on my road and wait to entice her. I was told they dont do that, but we have seen them numerous times, we can see them through our front window. Will be recording on paper from now on and taking pics.

The man that my husband talked to was very rude! My husband attempted to bring a stray seven week old kitten there and he refused to take it because we have brought in other strays before!! The kitten ended up dying after we gave it the best care we could after 4 days. This is a city run organization that I pay taxes towards......devoted to protecting animals and they do everything but!!

The man Mr. TERRY was so rude they picked up our dog that broke the chain. While we was sleep this dog belong to 6 children she was very loving dog couldnt afford to get her out but we wanted the children to have a chance to say goodbye. He refused to let them say goodbye. The young lady that worked their is very nice. Mr.TERRY also processed to say he will make sure our dog was sent far away for adoption. I dont understand the rudeness of some people. But to not let a 3, 5, 5, 12, 12 &13 year old to say goodbye is so sad to have that much hate in your heart. Because they never did anything to you. To watch my babies cry knowing they cant get their dog back is so sad. Judge or no judge we are all human. Should be a heart somewhere. He was just so rude.

Nice people who care about the animals they serve. Unfortunate that Ive had to get to know them due to my dog thinking shes Houdini and testing me at every turn with her latest escape. Glad that they picked her up before anything bad happened. Wish they were open on weekends though, because no weekends + holiday meant they kept my girl for 5 days and we really missed her.

Not every animal that ends up there is owned by a neglectful owner. Life happens. I did not appreciate the way I was treated or threatened at this place. Very rude and unkind staff.All they want is money. Could care less about animals.My best advice is never have to deal with this place.

This shelter has had a negative reputation for years for not posting their animals. This seriously lessens their chance to be adopted. I have not found them rude but far behind the efforts made by many shelters.

Make sure your up to date with your animals rabbies vaccines and be registered with the city. The people are friendly theyre just doing their job.

After we called 3 times. They never showed up for Dog. Rosemary, from Benton Animal Control then gave our number to the pet owners. Not cool cause we didnt have him. Handers came in frantic

Just a wonderful clinic with wonderful vets and techs. My fur babies love it there.

They do not handle complaints seriously they wait until an animal has either bitten or destroyed another animal before taking action despite multiple complaints. Nothing is ever done and the dogs in my neighborhood have run rampant for the last 2 years unchecked.

Lethargic and rude. I reported neglected and abandoned dogs and they did NOTHING. They drove by the house, kept going and never returned. Perhaps the dogs are better off fending for themselves. Absolutely inexcusable. Its not the first time Ive had to deal with these incompetent and unprofessional animal care people. Very sad for the citizens of Benton.

I learned about some of the animal laws we have in the city/county. And learned that they are literally the worst laws we could possibly have.A guy walked in and said he couldnt afford to care for good dog anymore, and needed to give him up. They said that if the dog needed to go to the vet, the man would still be responsible for the bill. He told them, of course, that this was the reason he has to give the dog up, that he couldnt afford vet bills.To further add to the stupidity, they told him that if it was determined that he knew his dog needed to go to the vet, that hed be slapped with criminal charges of animal neglect.So. Guy walks in, hoping to provide his dog with a better life. And gets told hed be financially liable and be charged criminally. Stupid.

The lady at front desk and all other staff is good and the fat young white guy dont know anything... He is just dumb and dont how to take care of customers...I wanna sue him for what he did to me... Idoit.. Racist

The employees and officers have always been super nice here. When you are faced with an epidemic of people dumping animals off, Im sure your job isnt fun at all. They handle your situation with the utmost co ok im deleting this currently but this was never written by me or my family. so ill continue here. what lies. they care about no one. they just want you to pay them ALOT of money and if you dont they just take you to court and make you. also claim to be a no kill shelter but thats not true either. nobody cares or it wouldnt be allowed to happen in the first place. pretty ridiculous that they make up reviews now glad i looked into this sight.

Came by once for a complaint that was called in. My lab had gotten out of her cage and was in my front yard. Animal control comes by every single day and creeps past my house. Stopping from time to time to inspect my cage and other things. Hopefully animal control trolls reads this so they can know that if this continues it classifies as harassment

I called about a stray dog in my yard. On Sunday, November 5, 2017 at 6.30am. I was working in my yard. The employee said, “We will be there as soon as we can.” At 7:00am I had a second stray in my yard. I called again, and was told the same thing. At 7:15, the dogs moved two houses down and my dogs were barking like crazy so I took them inside. At about 7:45am the animal control officer came, and I told him the dogs were two houses down 30 mins ago. I gave the second star because they did show up. But waiting one hour and fifteen minutes to get to a stray is way to long especially when I live one mile from the headquarters...

I have a friend who has home security footage of these people coming in her closed back yard to steal her dog.
