Absolutely amazing guest service! This place has helped us out MANY times! Even when we had problems on the road they made sure that we were safe and taken care of! Over the last month I’ve had to rent 3 different times with these guys. David is the one who I’ve dealt with the most and he is fantastic! Very polite and friendly. Even gave me an upgrade because the only car they had at the time wouldn’t fit my baby’s rear facing car seat. He is the best! I’ve also worked with Gil and TJ and they are both amazing as well. If I could rate as zero I would. Called location to verify they could pick me up. Called again day of pickup, no problem. Their driver called from wrong campground. Manager wouldnt allow driver to go the 10 miles to pick us up. Stranded us during our 32nd anniversary trip. I understand covid has affected all business. Then dont promise what you cant deliver

Rented a car in February for $86.00 including insurance. Now the same car 5 months later is $103.00 add $30.00 for insurance, looking at over $130.00. Theyve raised the price around $50.00 in 5 months. Ridiculous, doesnt take much to figure out that they are using Covid as a excuse to raise their prices. Should be illegal!! Criminals!!!!!!!Response to their DUMB ASS RESPONSE. Whats my rental agreement from February when I rented a car and it was 86 bucks including insurance have to do with the same thing now, would cost me over a 130 bucks including insurance. Whats your reason and lousy excuses for raising your prices 50 bucks in 5 months??? Youve taken advantage of Covid and are using it as a Cheap excuse to raise your prices. 130 bucks a day to rent a car is absolutely ridiculous!!! 86 bucks a day was ridiculous, 30 bucks a day for full coverage insurance, ridiculous. February I paid $56 for the car, $30 for the insurance, $86.. Now the same car is $103, add $30 for insurance, over $130 for the same thing I paid $86 for, 5 months ago. Since this posting last month, the price has gone up $7.00 more. They just keep raising their prices. Enough is enough already. $140 to rent a car for a day is complete BULLSHIT!! Found out Enterprise is running out of vehicles, straight out of employees mouths. They raised their prices to buy more vehicles. So in other words, we are buying them new vehicles.

This place is horrible. I have been here before and the manager is horrible. Earlier this week I bought a car in Tampa Florida at enterprise. They were absolutely amazing. Some paperwork had to be signed by my co-signer at the Benton harbor location. I am from there and already had a bad experience there. This time, all the manager had to do was take a signature and send the already paid for overnight fedex back. 12pm it was signed on Tuesday. It hasn’t even registered as sent. And it’s Friday. She was horribly rude to my fiancé. They will ruin Enterprise relationships with other places if they don’t fire the manager. Don’t use this location!!!

Charging me for smoke and dog hair in a vehicle in a vehicle I rented for 30-days, but never had a dog inside or smoked seemed like a plus charge for no reason. I didn’t get angry, but I have never seen this from other Enterprise rentals. Pre-covid, I travelled and rented once a month or more.

I’m late in writing about my experience but better late than never. 100 stars to Gil. A deer hit my car 😉 and my insurance company wouldn’t help me get info to Enterprise and pretty much told me I’m SOL. I called Gil and he got on it and called me back ten minutes later (if that) to tell me I could get the rental car. I wound up having the car just about a month and couldn’t have had it without his help. The other people I dealt with were pretty good too. However, I give all the praise to Gil! Plus he’s pretty caliente. Honestly though, hands down the best service I’ve been provided in a veryyyyyy long time. Thank you sir for all your help!

This is the second time Ive rented a car from the Benton Harbor, Michigan location and both times have been very pleasant experiences.This time, Chelsea was the rep who assisted me. While I reserved online, I decided to upgrade when I arrived at the location. Chelsea was on the case very quickly and upgraded me. She was very polite and professional.My return of the car was quick and easy! I will definitely use Enterprise again!

Place is garbage. We reserved a premium suv two weeks ago which they assured us they would have. The day of our trip were getting ready to leave to go pick it up and they tell us they dont have it. So were scrambling to find another vehicle. Thanks a lot enterprise!

Droped off a one way rental car on saturday morning and they refused to give me a ride to my hotel which was 2 miles from them. There were 3 employees at the office and they told me they were short on stuff, thats why they cant give me a ride. There was no uber/lift any other transportation services so i had to walk 2 miles (took me about an hour, its only 3 minutes driving btw) to my hotel and it was 35 degree cold. Bad customer service , have been rent a car from enterprise for a long time, never get treated like this. Left a message for the area manager and still didnt get any call from them. Seems enterprise doesnt care about their customer service/satisfaction anymore. Really bad business, will do other rental car companies from now on.

We forget things in Rentals. I forgot my PINK Mothers Day card. I was called and told to pick it up. Next day I get there and noone knows what Im talking about. Again next day noone knows what Im talking about. Checked the gift card info and instead of returning my $25 pizza gift card and card. They used it.

First car was dirty, so had to get a new car. Then the next car was infested with ants. Me and my children spent the whole 6 hr drive killing ants. Upon my destination I sprayed the car with home defense and I didn’t see anymore. Contacted corporate, no response so I told the local branch and they added a little discount. But this wasn’t the first time last time I reserved a suv got there and was offered a pickup truck!?!? Really??? So hopefully my next rental I don’t have those issues again.

This place is absolutely AWFUL!!! The times are wrong for the building and they are BEYOND rude there. Never will I ever go to the one in Benton Harbor or enterprise to begin with. They booked 2 separate reservations for us and then told us 10 minutes before they closed and said to bad we have no cars even after we drove there and told us they closed so it’s not their problem and ignored phone calls that were coming in. Not a way to run a business.

Everyone was polite. Someone had a vehicle that they had to go pick up, but they upgraded me at the same price for me having to wait. They were very busy, but they handled everything well.

I had occasion to use their services after a minor accident put my car in the shop for a few days. They were courteous and professional. They also gave me a rock bottom price on a rental. Before I picked up the car they gave me a confirming phone call and offered to pick me up at the garage where my car was being repaired. Before I even got there I already knew exactly what my out of pocket cost would be and the terms of payment. To say the least I am pleased with their service.

The service, friendliness and promptness of the staff is commendable. The reason I gave 4 stars is that the car we rented was clean enough but the steering itself was so sticky and dirty that I had to use 3 wet wipes and 3 napkins to clean it so I could comfortably place my hands on the wheel. I wish a little more attention is paid to some of these finer details too.

The car was great. The staff was helpful. However the staff need to be more knowledgeable of the advanced features of the vehicle and orient the customer on them.

The only glitch I had was that the insurance company originally sent the rental to an office in my home town and I needed to rent the vehicle closer to the repair facility. For some reason Enterprise had difficulty changing the rental agreement between them and the insurance company to get the rental to happen. Eventually it all worked out fine. Thanks Enterprise...Ill be renting from you again.

Ive rented from another Enterprise back home (in Kentucky) on a weekly basis and have had great experience there from the beginning. This location was totally different. I had reserved a car weeks in advance and was prepared with documentation that was needed for renting with a debit card (I dont have a credit card). From the moment I walked in the door I had a bad experience with the employee. He was unfriendly and acted as though I was inconveniencing him. He told me that because I was out of state I needed a major credit card. I told him I rent through Enterprise all the time, showed him my membership card, and told him I had documentation. He only repeated himself and I left. I understand there are policies in place but employees should still try to be accommodating, offer an alternative solution, or at least be friendly and apologize if they cant help. I wish I had gotten the employees name. I could go back and have a family member rent with me but I will not be doing business here.

Very helpful with getting us the right car for a quick trip. Your car may not be ready as soon as you walk in but I guess its a small office and theyre doing the best they can. All in all they are friendly and helpful.

After various stressful events that ocurred over my Christmas break. I found my experience with Enterprise to be exceptional and an ease on my worries. From the phone service to the nice gentleman that picked me up, also the discounts that I received for my vehicle being fixed at Bell Tire. Lastly, they were very understanding in the fact that I was unable to return the vehicle on time due to an ice storm while waving my late fee....The staff were helpful and courteous. Thank You Jeremy!Oh, the online rates were exact to the rates that were given when I went to rent a vehicle.

Had a terrible experience at budget so I ended up coming to enterprise. I was very impressed even from the beginning phone call with the call center rep and then again once I got to the location. Everybody was laughing, smiling, and helpful. I will definitely be back!

Pick up service n decent prices, great vehicles

The size of our family called for a minivan for ourbirthdaytrip to Chicago. The Benton Harbor Enterprise was the most reasonable in the area. The minivan was perfect, clean and well maintained. The Benton Harbor Enterprise staff was fast and friendly. Thanks to this experience we joined the Enterprise frequent renter program and will use the Benton Harbor Enterprise any time we need a special vehicle.

The people at this location were great. Very friendly and helpful. However, the process was so quick I never had an opportunity to check out the inside of the car before leaving. I turned around to see the back seat at my first stop light and was shocked. The entire back seat was filled with stains. It literally looked like people had wet their pants in the back seat. And the stains were all over! I called the office and they says they were aware that the car was due for a detail. So why did they send me out in it for a week? It turns out the stains were not superficial. As soon as it turned humid or hot, the car stunk like vomit. And whom ever cleaned the car prior to my rental did a pathetic job. It was far beyond needing a detail. The inside of the Windows looked as if they were cleaned with a dirty snot rag, no joke. It was that disgusting. Worst rental experience of my life. I feel bad writing a bad review because the people were very nice, but I dont understand why I was sent out in a filthy car. Enterprise really needs quality control!!

The salesperson was your typical salesperson who talked in circles and never explained charges. After getting a quote online, I was surprised to see my bill twice as much as the online price, and that was including a repair shop discount!! After questioning the price difference, the salesperson talked in circles again and he finally agreed that if I cancel out of the agreement and go home, then reserve the vehicle online, then I would save about 50%. I wasnt happy about wasting my Saturday morning like that.The car stank like stale cigarettes, even though it was clearly marked with No Smoking stickers and the lobby had a display of $150 detail fine if smoking in the car.The kicker was when my husband turned the car in at 8:05 in the morning, we were charged for the entire day. When I got home from work and saw the extra charge, I called the Benton Harbor store to have that explained to me. Again, the salesperson on the phone talked in circles and was rude. I wanted them to know that that should have been explained to me and to all customers. Being a consumer, I want to know exactly what Im being charged for and why. I didnt appreciate the salesperson tactics and rudeness.I will never rent from the Benton Harbor Enterprise store, even though its only 1 block from my home. They are expensive, the cars stink and the salespeople are rude and deceptive.

This Enterprise is a bit more disorganized than most Enterprise locations. Few Ive been to have been stellar, but due to the small inventory, small lot, and what seems to be constant turnover this particular location is below average, but adequate. It took 45 minutes to get a vehicle I had reserved online with my corporate account. I ended up with a pickup truck, not ideal, I had reserved an intermediate per our company contract, but at least I finally got it. I usually rent vehicles for travel, so am renting at airports where I always use National, sister of Enterprise and the preferred rental car company for my organization. Even if I wanted to use Enterprise at airports, its often impossible because of their hours. They actually close at night unlike the major car rental companies. I use Enterprise in Benton Harbor because its 5 minutes from my house, and the alternative is to drive to South Bend which is NOT convenient. I wish they had a larger inventory, a more user friendly, larger lot, and though the staff was apologetic for the lengthy wait and offered a free two day weekend rental (which I dont really need, I have two cars, but maybe a truck for a weekend project) they dont exude customer service.

Rented the car for our one week vacation. Car was very clean and damage free. Car got a very impressive 38 mpg (Nissan Altima). Everyone at office was very helpful and courteous. Did notice that, based on sticker in window, car was 10,000+ miles past due on oil change!

My last rental, was not good experience I have rented numerous times from enterprise this year alone usually everything is okay I was in south bend purchasing another vehicle called the location and asked if I could just return the vehicle to south bend location due to they were closing at 1, I was told I couldn’t return at different location without paying to do so so I tried driving back to Benton Harbor in 30 minutes before they’re closing and made it at 1:05 charges for the entire weekend which was the same issue with the rental prior too I ask for full size given a van and still charged for it about 180 taken off my card the rental before last totaling almost 400 for 2 rentals for 2 days with economy/ full size usually Chelsea , TJ, Mohammed, decent and I believe Cara/Tara the main person their are usually okay very disappointed last two rentals will stick with south bend airport location

Given a car with trouble light on and told it was just and oil change needed in 4000 miles... Car died on me in 10 degree weather with temp light and engine trouble light. Called roadside assistance they said it would be 3 hours..... limped the car back to an airport Enterprise, switched cars and was on my way... BH dealer was very nice and offered a free day in the future for my trouble..... Lesson, dont take a car with an engine light on.... get a different vehicle.

I was headed to Chicago Saturday afternoon and my car stalled on the interstate close to Stevensville. I’ve used car rentals before but never once have I experienced the customer service I received from TJ in your Benton Harbor location.Not only was she courteous and polite.But proficient and professional to the very end.Because of her and even at closing time(1pm) I made my appointment on time and without stress.This young lady then arranged for me to drop the car off at a convient location,and it’s just rare these days to be treated and appreciated in a way as TJ did for me.I work in the auto industry and I could and would steal her in a heart beat to represent our team if she was willing to come.Be very careful how you treat her,because I’ll be checking to see if she’s open for a career change and I’m sure a better salary then what she’s being compensated.Thank you TJ,you’re tops with me.And Ford Motor Credit thanks you.I made it there with time to spare.
