My windshield was cracked on driver side, called ryder at this location, they told me to come back next day, I came back the next day, and they asked that the Ryder is not responsible for that and they gonna charge me $335…I went to another location on Harvey,ILThey replaced it with no problem and never charge me for that!!!The point is, usually ryder is taking care of this kind problems, but the workers probably making extra $ charging from customers! Not good!!!!

This place is terrible I took my truck here for a PM they told me it would be ready by 5:00 a.m. I get here at 5:00 a.m. nobody knows where my truck is they wont even let you in the building you have to call some number of a lady that isnt even here who just calls the shop where youre standing 10 ft away from to find out nobody could find my truck then I found it in the middle of the garage not even ready all the guys just standing around talking now Im out of truck and cant deliver my shipment absolutely terrible service

This is THE WORST Ryder location in Chicago land.Use any other location, NOT this one. Service department is extremely slow and lacks communication skills. When you call for updates the person who answers has no clue of whats going on with your truck. Im currently on a phone with them for 28 minutes and still cant get someone who has an idea of whats going on with our truck on a phone. Very UNPROFESSIONAL.Update: This Ryder NEVER fail to disappoint us. Last 3 times Ive been there to pick up the keys, it takes them 30 minutes and more to BRING the keys out!!! Do not deserve a single star.

This was the absolute worst experience! If it would allow me to give 0 stars I would! We made a reservation for a truck for our moving day. Go to pick it up and not only were they not up front they wasted our time for over 20 minutes just to come back and tell us sorry we have no trucks. I would never suggest them! Save yourself time me find a more reliable company!

Working with them for 3 years already,i have lease units with them,from the day i start all lease units i have are over 400k miles and broke down a LOT ,i lost to many drivers because of that.Vaghan(lease manager)probably is to busy and not realy taking care of my account,i asked him to change me one unit because broking down a every other week ,never come back with a solution.

Service? Thats a worst service ever!!! Dropped truck off on November 22 and my truck still under work (today is Feb 25). When Im calling to them - different people told me different stories. But just a one thing they had told the same - truck will be ready tomorrow!!!Ok. Instead of my unit I received (for today) another 4 different units. Every unit had a tons of problems. Every week I spending in the shops more and more hours. They have a stupid system - they cant give you another unit before someone from Rider will not be able to fix you current unit. And its take more than 3-4 hours every time (even if you call them and make an appt)!Im tired of working with this company. 0 stars required!!!

Came in to have repairs done on OTR truck leased from Ryder. Service personnel were not very good communicating with us. The mechanic was rude and insulting. I would never recommend this Ryder center and will go out of my way to avoid it even if I have to have drive it broken down.

Do not work with them. We paid everytime with a cc. This year they seem to have some mysterious hold on the account but not can not state what. The former employees and management have left and it is now worst service. Save the headache go rent elsewhere.

Worst service ever. No kidding. Dropped truck off on Friday with an appt I had made earlier in week and a clear list of issues. Lights. Tires. Apu. Etc. Picked truck up Monday am and only tired had been changed on trailer. However truck has starting issues and they backed trailer into something breaking off a stake pocket! Lights still not fixed. Brakes not done. Only tires were changed at 3am Monday morning! Service???

This place is a rip off!! They charged me $806.31 for 12 days trailer rental. On top of it it was a 2008 year trailer. What a joke. I get 2018 year trailers for $585.00 a month at Atlas Leasing. People call Atlas Leasing in Elk Grove Village for trailers. Dont go to this dump. The jokester named Jamarl who helped me first told me $670 and I told him that it was high so he said he would adjust my rate. Then it was even more at $806.31. Disgrace these people! Thieves, liars, cheaters!

Went in to inquire about buying a truck.. waited at the front desk with no one behind it for 5 minutes - saw a guy in the office and knocked on the door and he just looked and went back to the computer.. the worst customer service ever.. took my business elsewhere.

Beware... They will promise you everything, and will not meet 1 promise. NOT ONE. I have had the same problem with the truck same codes, same symptoms for 18mos and everytime they say its fixed. Its not. Do not lease a truck from Ryder. They just do not care about their customers that is honestly the most frustrating thing about working woth Ryder, they dont care about you just pay them and leave.

I wish I could give a no star to them as they do not deserve anything . I bought a truck from them 2 months ago and this was my first truck ever and I started my own business and they really make it really bad for me . they sold me really bad truck and very poor customer support and warranty . never ever even think of buying anything from them . they told me there is 48 hours comprehensive warranty on tractor as I bought 2007 International with CAt engine and 10 speed manual . on my first day of driving check engine light showed up GREAT ....... I asked them to get it fixed and after several calls they told me to speak with warranty department as they never reply in a day to you as every driver knows how days matter in truck driving jobs . every day is like you are loosing 600 dollars ave. then they finally found a shop for me to fix all issues and 48 hours warranty stuff on tractor . appointment was scheduled after a week so I already lost a week ? tun international dealer told me I never said to warranty guys that you can come after a week amazing . then they started fixing problemsssssssssss on tractor and everyday there is new thing . It took me a month to get them all fixed in the meantime you can imagine how many times I called and asked them . aFter finallyyyyyyyyyy got the tracote and drove only a week check engine light came back again I called dealership and ryder again they told me to bring it back and they will take a look when they will get a chance . I requested international dealership to please do it early so they decided to do it early and they did it and there was couple of more things to fix on it . then I called warranty department and after a long day wait they said that it is not covered under warranty but I asked them that is part of that previous repair but they said nooooooooooo ? then I decided to return that tractor and I called dealership they said they will take it back it will take couple of days to end this financing and process but it will cost you some or may be a lot i dont know yet . and now it is 3 week already and they are still working on my refund and I did not get anything yet . they are bunch of idiots in store and don,t know the business or anything no care for customer or time . they do not even pick up phone or give you call back anytime no email replies . they will make you mad and sick . never ever think of buying ,financing or lease anything from them .

Its terrible that my company leases our trucks through these guys. If your truck has to go in the shop, itll take them days to fix the truck only to get it back with more problems. Fueling takes forever since no ones there, or only one employee for the endless line of trucks. Im not sure where they get enough monkeys to run this place.
